If there is a chance of construction, going to be conducted, do not have new people put stuff in storage it doesn’t make sense to inconvenience people to the point where they have to move all of their stuff out to a whole other location not professional or fair. And it would be beneficial if there were garbage cans inside of the building to toss things in that are unwanted. Also, the primary location to contact barely answers their phone. I will never go to this location again the only thing good is that it was clean.

There are only two men who work at the state street location that are willing to assist you or answer the phone and not be sassy with attitudes. Thank goodness for them.

Unfortunately this year the elevator was down which made it difficult to move into the unit. additionally was surprised that the larger rental unit we have only had a door to enter and it has a column in the middle of the unit. we had enough room but access with the smaller door vs a large roll up for a 10 x 10 unit was a surprise. as a result i selected below average.

It was a crazy, anxious time for my wife and our stuff , especially paperwork for the kids that was irreplaceable. Needless to say, it all worked out in the end.

When I went to pick up the initial rental of the 9' van at 3pm. I was told unfortunately they rented all out earlier that morning. What was the point of RESERVING something that was available at the time of the reservation to get there and it's not available. So that means you gave someone else the dolly I reserved for me. So being patient I requested for the dolly to be reserved for the following day for pick up at 1pm. At which time I was returning the 9' van to upgrade to a 10' truck. Again to my disappointment all appliance dollies were rented out again....after I had reserved it a 2nd time. After expressing my disappointment I was promised and guaranteed that an appliance dolly would be available for me to pick up on the 3rd! Attempt. With complete let down I find that when I called ahead to confirm pick up of dolly I get again the same fustrated news that no dolly is available. They customer service alone was absolutely great. They fail to keep promise with reservation x 3. That is why I give them below average rating. As far as customer service and professionalism they are above average 4 star.

I had previously used a U-Haul Storage in Sioux Falls, SD prior to my location here in Milwaukee. Both facilities were clean and accessible. I would certainly recommend U-Haul storage. In this relocation I used both a U-Box Container and a U-Haul Truck from Sioux Falls to Milwaukee(two different U-Haul locations here.)

I ended up having to load stuff off the truck little by little before I had to load it onto an elevator that kept closing on us and made us fall behind on our truck rental. Uhaul needs to be more specific on where the unit is and if an elevator has to be used or not. If an elevator does have to be used, it should be something for the customer to push to be able to hold the door open so it doesn't close every second to slow u down

Once online it was very easy. Inside of the facility was a disaster with garbage and random items piled and strewn everywhere. So a very mixed experience.
David T | Online Move InOne loading door was left wide open upon move out, giving direct access to anyone. Elevator wasn’t working the first day we checked in. The original unit we were given at the office was being used by someone working there to store ladders and cleaning supplies. Whenever we tried calling the office, it was busy or was put on hold for 20 minutes (tried before move in, during move in, and for information about checking out.) So when we had to call about the locker not being available/locked, there was a wait time and had to just drive back to the office to let them know about this issue. Staff tried the best they could, but that’s a lot to manage and I feel like they have a lot on their plates. Would never want to work there as a staff member and will not be going back to this particular U-Haul unless it had major repairs.

By far the worst place and would never trust them again.
