The location was very good, and manager very helpful and friendly. The manager was able to help with a multi day local rental, while the website did not seem possible to do. Good morning, The Mobile app was not user friendly. It did not save my place (my rental request was not complete) when I had to get our of the U-Haul app to look up the address of the Miamisburg U-Haul facility. Another issue that I encountered is the information I updated, in the mobile app, on my account was not updated in the computer system the U-Haul representative was using to process my rental request. Specifically my phone number was not updated in his system. I updated it earlier with my mobile number. The mobile app does not offer you U-Haul locations near you to put in as a pick up location. You must know the address of the U-Haul location. Having this an an option initially when creating a rental request would significantly improve your application and your customer experience. My reservation was for 12. I made the reservation 3 weeks in advance. The truck was not ready until 4. This really made my move harder as some of my help had to leave by then. The UHAUL employee was supposed to call me when the truck came in. He did not. I tried to call and was on hold and never got through. I had to drive back to the store to talk to someone. The line gets a little long and it takes a long time to get up to the counter, but the miamisburg staff makes up for the wait by being so helpful and nice. We watched one young man go above and beyond his normal duties to help customers twice before it was our turn, then he went above and beyond for us as well. Thank you! Waited in a line for an hour to pickup truck even though I went through pre check in and paid in advance. System is totally inefficient. The person who waits on you is also the person who goes out side to pull up the truck. At times then there are no staff in the store, just long line of customers. We rented for a day should of had 24 hrs like I requested. Reservation time 6:30 I had to wait 45minutes in line to be even seen and had to return trailer by 7:00 am in the morning some 24 hours I will not recommend or rent from them again. This location was great, however when ordering more than 10 days in advance and you say a specific truck is available, the expectation is you get that specific truck and at the agreed upon location. This was the third location I had to go to and a couple hours later to get the specific truck I ordered 10 days earlier. That's unacceptable and terrible business practice.KEITH L.

This rental was a complete mess. My reservation was for a 5 x8 trailer to be picked up at 10:00 AM in Springfield OH, when I arrive, I was told that they did have a trailer for me and that my reservation had been changed to a location in Urbanna Ohio, After calling them, they informed me that they had no trailers in and could not reach the renter who was to return the one that I was supposed to get. I called the national number and after 45 min. on hold I finally got to talk to someone who said they could not help me and transferred me to regional scheduler. They informed me that the only trailer or small truck they could get was at Miamisburg OH which was 40 miles away and they would arrange for me to get this larger trailer at the smaller trailer rate. When I arrived the dealer was not informed of the reduced rate causing me to insist they give it to me they finally agreed. After get going thru all of this my move took me over 4 hours than it should have and caused me to drive 80 miles further that I should have. In checking my emails I was informed of this change At 10:59PM on Saturday night, long after I would have an the ability to make different plans. I had reserved this trailer On 4/29/2021 and to inform me at such a late date of Changes on you part is totally unprofessional. Also the dealer in Springfield had trailers in his lot but said that he could not let me have one because they were for local only. I will not consider Uhaul for a up coming move that I will be scheduling and will not recommend Uhaul to anyone.Robert E.

The location and staff are great, this my high ratings for this store. However, my experience with UHaul online reservation was HORRIBLE! I booked two days prior with a "GUARANTEED" reservation, only to be called two hours prior to my pickup time telling me the location couldn't honor the reservation. They transferred my reservation to another store; however, this resulted in additional mileage and additional that wasn't planned for. Bottom line:. Stores and staff are great; however, UHaul Corporate totally botched my reservation and certainly didn't live up to their Gaurente. Please contact me if I can help provide additional information, including my original reservation confirmation that certainly wasn't honored.ROBERT L.

In addition, the call center (800 number) wait is HORRIBLE and they are not well-informed about the local facility. You cannot get thru directly on the local number. They do not answer the phone.
