Only complaint was our moving pads and furniture dolly weren't in the truck, but we were refunded with little effort. The clerk saved the day by recommending the movers option where we found two great people to help us with the rushed and hectic move from Fresno to Sacramento.DANIEL H.

Sam, who rented me the truck, was great! Parell, with whom I returned the vehicle seemed great too! Whoever cleaned the truck after my rental and stole my hat negative stars!!! Still awaiting a return call from the manager, Heath, but all the other employees at the counter who claimed not to have found a hat seem suspect, especially the one who asked the others and tried to dismiss me!Dominic H.
It's not really an issue. I've been able to extend the U-Haul quite a few times. So it wasn't an issue that I couldn't extend it. But I would say that it would have been nice that the U-Haul would have at least 1 day grace period to call for an extension just in case a customer needs to do so. Either way it was extremely pleased with my service and wouldn't have changed it for anything.Sarah Y.

Highly disappointed in the handling of my rental by the local team. I reserved my rental at least a month out. I got a call two days before my pickup date and was told my rental was not going to be available at the location originally reserved from. There was a lot of confusion on the new location site as to my reservation not be confirmed by the person who changed my pickup. Also, that person never offered my $50 credit for having to relocate my pickup. When I tried contacting the scheduling team about the issues my calls were rerouted to a regional office and that persons refuse to help me as her answer is wait for the scheduling team to contact you. That never happened and I showed up at the new location on the day of pick up and luckily they still had the type of rental I needed and were willing to rent it to me. They stated they were not responsible for the credit as it need to come from the location where it was originally reserved.Jose B.

Made a reservation including an appliance dolly and it was not available when we arrived to pick it up. We had to rent a utility dolly that made the job much more difficult and still had to pay for the rental of it. Workers are not overly friendly and didn't really make any attempt to resolve the issue. I always use uhaul and it does the job but just lacks any wow factorGINA M.

Didn't have an appliance dolley had to go to another store to get it and I was not provided with a mileage reduction for doing that. I had to down size from 20 feet to 15 ft so I had to make more trips on my move which cost me more money was nor satisfied with the service.DAVID P.

First off, this location was a last minute change. I confirmed with whoever on the phone that the location before would be ok with the 24/7 self pick up at pick up time around 930/10pm & it was my worst experience! I was stranded in the dark at 10pm trying to get my U-Haul for a hour but there was no key for it. I'd like a refund from U-Haul for my Uber ride to the location you confirmed there will be a 15' truck available & my last minute hotel stay due to the U-Haul not being available til the next morning! I had no plans in getting a hotel in Fresno & was stranded at a gas station nearby with no Uber rides available.NOLAN B.
Talk with the office about integrity. I dropped off the truck within the time frame on the contract but I didn't sign off properly on the app. They had the key and the worker knew I dropped it in the drop off box yet the office decided to charge me for extra day, insurance, and after hour fee. I had to call the customer service office to deal with it. I'm a repeating customer and I plan to use the service again so I would appreciate if the company reinforce the office about integrity.Everett G.

Reservation was fine but when I said I wouldn't download or send anything from my phone the gentlemen was not happy and showed it. I also requested a utility dolly and pads. When he gave me the key he said here and just left me standing with the dolly and pads. I said he would have to.put in truck because I can't lift the dolly, again was not happy and did it but was rude about it. Told me they would be closed at 8am for return so drop keys and call number on truck. Well that whole process was crazy and I was on hold for an hour. They ended up opening at 9am and I still was on hold! BUT the check in gentlemen was great and already had my receipt ready when I walked in. He said here you go, thank u. He was on top of it and good customer service repLINA O.

The personal is the best very professional, the trucks are in very bad conditions, putting clients in high risk, due to vandalism in the vehicles , my rental was licking gas we stop every 10 milles to check for the cap under the tanck because keeps falling off and was dangers ... never again I spend mostly of the moving stoping to check in fix .... the only person who respond to this issue was the person in front office in this place ... when I return from gas station he try to fix the problem ... Uhaul overcharge for other day of use and milles I was driving 10 mls per hour to return the equipment tall the way to Fresno inecaude the principal office Don't approve me to go the closest place .... was very dangerous to drive in that conditions . I'm very disappointed with Uhaul service ... â€œESTELLA R.

I opted for the $14 insurance when I made my reservation. When I went to pick up the rental truck, the clerk that helped me asked me if I still wanted the insurance. I said yes but decided he would charge me the $28 amount. That was not okay.KRISTY R.

I've been going to this uhaul for years and there's a Mexican guy there I believe he's the manager or assistant manager and he's very rude every time I go there's and try's to act like he wants to fight my friend and me and I don't recommend him working there or this location because of the way he treats his customersCOREY M.

I brought my Uhaul truck I rented at around 12:35pm. I dropped my keys in key box. I wasn't explained what to do after being done with the Uhaul truck, I'm being charged a late fee for a Uhaul truck that was dropped off before the due time. I'm also very confused why my bill was so high for a 19 mile round trip. I will be calling tomorrow and having a manager explain this to me. Both gentlemen at the Belmont and blackstone store were very rude from when I first arrived. Doors did not open until 715ish. My appointment was for 7am. I've been a reliable customer everytime I had to move. This day has made me lose faith in this company.Carlos F.

When I entered the business to communicate my online/ app pickup wasn't working after 5 minutes, the owner said that was normal and went to prep our truck (which should have already been prepped AND WASNT. There was no dolly and the back of the truck was wide openâ€¦ maybe it was broken into?) After 20 minutes of waiting for the app to work, all the while the owner is cleaning the truck instead of helping me with the issue and two gentleman we're behind the counter with no one there but us, I again asked if waiting this long for the app to process was normal. I asked if we could just redo the order in person since we AND the truck are obviously here and I was told I HAD to wait for the app to tell me I can get the keys. When the owner was done cleaning the windows and mirrors he came in and one employee told him â€œI was JUST informed these folks have been waiting 20 minutesâ€. At which point the owner did what I asked for in the first place, and just redid the order for checkout at the counter. This is the point at which we were informed the truck was on Empty and the only gas can they had only had 5 gallons, but it's ok because they're going to credit us whatever it takes us to put it at 1/4 tank. So now we're behind schedule and HAVE to stop for gas right away. We had the truck for 2 days and as my husband is leaving town to drive an hour for our second load, the check engine light comes on. He's pulled over in the side of the road, trying get a hold of someone and when he be in ally does, they tell him â€œif you're worried about it, call raid side assistanceâ€ can't get a hold of anyone so he goes back to the pickup location where he is informed that the check engine light is because of a faulty gas tank cap, but it's ok because nothing is leaking and they have THREE trucks that do that and they normally just tell the customer not to worry about it if the light comes in (we were not informed of this). This location did say they have work orders in with uhaul to get it fixed and are waiting for repairs.ANTONIO H.

Tank was 5 miles from empty on pick up, had engine light on and gas cap error. Truck got only 4 miles a gallon and when I went to check it in before they closed they said sorry need to use online check in , worst experience everDouglas W.

Clean the inside of the truck. I had to take it home and vacuum and wash off the spilled soda in the truck and on the passenger door so that it would open without sticking. Give me more than 1/8 tank of gas. It would be nice to have someone inside to give you the keys when you have checked in online instead of having to wait on those to check in that didn't check in online.Cary B.

Have Mr. Heath take a juman kindness class. This man is very rude, it's like he was having a rough day at 7:12am on a Monday morning. He one walked right past me and didn't even acknowledge that there were customers there, when I asked if he could help me he said, â€œI'm not clocked in, I'll help you when I clock inâ€. And the more he was rude, the more I was. He eventually passed the buck to his â€œdumbâ€ (his words) workers. Whom â€œ he doesn't know why they didn't help meâ€.Tiara M.
Have equipment in locations where needed. I gave over 2 weeks notice of what equipment I was going to need and the location. I was told I might have to travel up to 100 miles one way. I was able to get the truck I need in Fresno CA about a week before I needed it so I rented it for 5 extra days. You all charged me extra mileage to go to Ukiah where I needed the truck in the first place and was told non availability. You Customer Service sucks.Timothy B.
we had checked min on line before we got there, the man, wearing a general manager shirt, asked all the same questions we had already done on line. He wasn't very pleasant! after we were done he said he would be right back with the truck. It was taking forever, so my husband went to see what was going on. He was having difficulty filling the tire with air but finally we were on our way. We got the truck loaded and left the next morning. I was following my husband. 30 minutes in my husband called and said the truck said the tire was low, this happened 3 times. finally when we reached Bakersfield we tried to Haul but it was a 45 minute wait so we decided to go to the closes haul and see if they could help us. Thank god we did because they said the tire valve had a leak. He said the 1st guy should have made sure there wasn't an issue with the tire. Thank god we went there before going over the Grapevine in 108 degree weather! I feel like we should get some kind of compensation back for the EXTREME inconvenience . Thank youKelly A.
The person that helped me was very rude. The process of getting the unit took almost an hour. Even though i had already did everything online before arriving. Then once all the paperwork was done i went to locate my storage unit only to find that they had rented someone elses unit. I had to go back in the office and instead of signing a new contract with the new unit number he just crossed off the old one and wrote the new unit on my contract.
