The truck was dirty. The staff was lazy. They literally argued in front of me about who was going to help me both picking up and dropping off the truck. I had ordered moving pads, the guy asked if I really needed them because he wasn't even sure they had any available. It felt like I was just a nuisance to them coming to pick up the truck I had reserved. I will never go to this location again, and will avoid haul if at all possible. My last two experiences were very unpleasant, the only thing uhual has going for them is their prices.ANDREW F.

First my uhaul was confirmed for madera ca and I had to drive to Fresno to get it. Then the 26 footer had been broken into and was leaking gas!!! There were no other 26 footers around and I had movers Scheduled etc I had to get a truck. Forced me to down size to a 20 footer. 20 footer was out of gas so the super nice employee had to go in his personal car to go get gas to fill the tank so the truck could move! I left a lot behind due to this and I am beyond upset. I would never trust u haul with another move!!!!Christopher N.
Staff did not get off their seat to show us the truck nor did they orientate us to the truck. They also said it was in one area and we finally found it somewhere else. There was plenty of staff and no customers so that was not an issue for them to give good service. They cold not explain the difference between between the different insurances you offer.Ricardo E.

They over charged me for gad. I returned it with half a tank and they said I returned it with a quarter. Make sure you take pictures of the mileage and gas when you return your truck.THOMAS G.

It would be nice if you had rentals for less than a day, like half day pricing. It seemed quite a bit to use a pickup for less than two hours and have to pay over $60. It would also be great if you had military rates.DONALD W.
The Midtown Fresno location customer service representatives at this location were amazing but the first uhaul location on Blackstone near Bullard Ave were absolutely the worst display of customer service I have witnessed ever. We left seeking another competitive company to realize uhaul was the only company who had what we were looking for. The midtown was the 3 store we attended to get what we needed. Just so you know that the other stores were very helpful and happy to assist customers. The first store again located on North Blackstone Ave near Bullard in Fresno, CA was the worst customer service experience I have ever had.KIMBERLY I.

Only 1 person working made pick up and drop off a lot longer. The guy who was checking me out on drop off took forever and tried to charge me double my intended rate because he started the process after my return time gad no idea how to fix it so ended up having to wait gor the manager luckily he figured out the problem right away and I was out in only a few minutes.FRANCISCO M.

worst customer service. Manager was rude. Didn't even greet me when i entered. I just lost my son but had to do this so i did. I asked him to repeat some stuff and questioned the taking a picture with my phone and something and i was told would accept cash deposit when i called, but when i came in he said no, but was not very professional about. Then walked away and someone else ended up helping me! rude! The second young man that helped me was very nice and very customer friendly, but still already had the bad experience with the manager and this was the second time i had an issue at this location. Also i reserved in advance a utility dolly but there was not one on site so i had to driver to another location, using my miles and time to pick one up. i will never rent from here again.LINA O.

I got to site after late at night. I went walking around looking for my truck where all large group of trucks were parked and didnt even notice the three trucks parked up alongside of the building. Dah.....I thought after worrying my truck was not there. If possible maybe tell clients that their truck is alongside of building. There was a homeless guy walking after me in parking lot....would not have been good if it was my daughter or wife alone in parking lot looking for truck. Otherwise had a great experience! You guys are the best and will continue to get all my business!Ariel B.

Only complaint was our moving pads and furniture dolly weren't in the truck, but we were refunded with little effort. The clerk saved the day by recommending the movers option where we found two great people to help us with the rushed and hectic move from Fresno to Sacramento.DANIEL H.

Sam, who rented me the truck, was great! Parell, with whom I returned the vehicle seemed great too! Whoever cleaned the truck after my rental and stole my hat negative stars!!! Still awaiting a return call from the manager, Heath, but all the other employees at the counter who claimed not to have found a hat seem suspect, especially the one who asked the others and tried to dismiss me!Dominic H.
It's not really an issue. I've been able to extend the U-Haul quite a few times. So it wasn't an issue that I couldn't extend it. But I would say that it would have been nice that the U-Haul would have at least 1 day grace period to call for an extension just in case a customer needs to do so. Either way it was extremely pleased with my service and wouldn't have changed it for anything.Sarah Y.

Highly disappointed in the handling of my rental by the local team. I reserved my rental at least a month out. I got a call two days before my pickup date and was told my rental was not going to be available at the location originally reserved from. There was a lot of confusion on the new location site as to my reservation not be confirmed by the person who changed my pickup. Also, that person never offered my $50 credit for having to relocate my pickup. When I tried contacting the scheduling team about the issues my calls were rerouted to a regional office and that persons refuse to help me as her answer is wait for the scheduling team to contact you. That never happened and I showed up at the new location on the day of pick up and luckily they still had the type of rental I needed and were willing to rent it to me. They stated they were not responsible for the credit as it need to come from the location where it was originally reserved.Jose B.

Made a reservation including an appliance dolly and it was not available when we arrived to pick it up. We had to rent a utility dolly that made the job much more difficult and still had to pay for the rental of it. Workers are not overly friendly and didn't really make any attempt to resolve the issue. I always use uhaul and it does the job but just lacks any wow factorGINA M.

Didn't have an appliance dolley had to go to another store to get it and I was not provided with a mileage reduction for doing that. I had to down size from 20 feet to 15 ft so I had to make more trips on my move which cost me more money was nor satisfied with the service.DAVID P.

First off, this location was a last minute change. I confirmed with whoever on the phone that the location before would be ok with the 24/7 self pick up at pick up time around 930/10pm & it was my worst experience! I was stranded in the dark at 10pm trying to get my U-Haul for a hour but there was no key for it. I'd like a refund from U-Haul for my Uber ride to the location you confirmed there will be a 15' truck available & my last minute hotel stay due to the U-Haul not being available til the next morning! I had no plans in getting a hotel in Fresno & was stranded at a gas station nearby with no Uber rides available.NOLAN B.
Talk with the office about integrity. I dropped off the truck within the time frame on the contract but I didn't sign off properly on the app. They had the key and the worker knew I dropped it in the drop off box yet the office decided to charge me for extra day, insurance, and after hour fee. I had to call the customer service office to deal with it. I'm a repeating customer and I plan to use the service again so I would appreciate if the company reinforce the office about integrity.Everett G.

Reservation was fine but when I said I wouldn't download or send anything from my phone the gentlemen was not happy and showed it. I also requested a utility dolly and pads. When he gave me the key he said here and just left me standing with the dolly and pads. I said he would have to.put in truck because I can't lift the dolly, again was not happy and did it but was rude about it. Told me they would be closed at 8am for return so drop keys and call number on truck. Well that whole process was crazy and I was on hold for an hour. They ended up opening at 9am and I still was on hold! BUT the check in gentlemen was great and already had my receipt ready when I walked in. He said here you go, thank u. The person that helped me was very rude. The process of getting the unit took almost an hour. Even though i had already did everything online before arriving. Then once all the paperwork was done i went to locate my storage unit only to find that they had rented someone elses unit. I had to go back in the office and instead of signing a new contract with the new unit number he just crossed off the old one and wrote the new unit on my contract.
