Chaos, 4 hrs lost, truck not at location, staff was polite but unable to resolve blaming a computer program, the solution I was given was go to a different store, smaller truck, give away $1,500 worth of personal belongings to make it fit, then go back to pick up tow dolly. Dolly provided was reported stolen so we had to change to a different one. The truck had noisy wheel bearings on the left rear, the truck shakes at 55 mph, I was afraid driving this truck but had to make the move because I had defined timelines and 10 of thousands of dollars at stake. To add insult to injury, upon dropping off the truck and dolly I was charged a mileage fee of $5 +, which would not have occurred if I did not have to drive around giving away my belongings or driving back across the city for a tow dolly had my truck I reserved been in place.

The only problem is that I went in to one location to make the reservation, received my email confirmation but did not notice the pick up location was at another UHaul location five miles away and didn't make that discovery until I went to the original location to pickup trailer.

The North Fresno Location in particular has a great crew. I came in tired after packing boxes all day for my move. A team member that wasn't involved in my purchase of boxes, just grabbed the two bales and walked them out to my car with my wife and I. WOW great service. My back appreciated it!

The truck I was given was apparently not meant to be used for a one way move. The mirrors were so loose I could not keep them in a position where I could see beside me or my blind spots. I even cancelled the tow dolly I had planned on using because I felt so unsafe driving the truck.

I've rented from this location before. The last time I rented I had a great experience with the staff. This time I had two different people helping me. The first person was rude and unhelpful. He didn't seem to know what he was doing. My gas was a little low on return and when he calculated it he said it would be 30 dollars to have Uhaul fill it, which is crazy as it was only a little low. I drove around the block and put in 10 dollars and that did the trick. When I returned the second agent was very helpful and knowledgeable. I will use the location again as the facility is really clean and the selection is great. I think I just had the wrong agent the first time.

Everything was OK with renting the truck, except U-HAUL should give some sort of discount if you put more gas in the tank then when you picked up the truck.

Upon arrival and return there was only one employee to assist. No one knew what I was talking about when I mentioned the Express checkout and it's still took over an hour in the morning to retrieve the equipment truck and then no one knew how to add boxes to the order. But at least this time the service from the actual employees was pleasant I can't understand why on a Saturday morning they would have one person Manning a shop like this. With regard to Staffing 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening I can only assume that someone didn't show up but that's really my problem is it.

I was called two days later asking why I hade not turned in the tow dolly I rented which I did the same day the general manager Ms. Roxanne was very rude made me feel like I had stoll it she made me feel sick and start shaking I'm a very bad diabetic she never once apologized and I called custermer service twice once a helpful lady got her on the phone and Ms. Roxanne told her she would call me back once she checked the lot and let me know of what was going on custermer service people were very friendly need less to say Ms Roxanne never called me two hours later I called Customer service again spoke with a gentleman who I told everything again to he apologized and said sure enough that row dolly silly was found and wanted me to talk to complaint person which she was very nice and understandable she helped me ND made me feel like I was not some piece of trash in am also a night auditor and had not slept all day cause I was worried and of course I still have not received a call from the general manager staying she found it or that she was simply sorry for the inconvenience I believe I should not have to pay after all this that she put me through so I hope someone can tell this lady this is not how you treat people thanks for listening and have a great day.
