Everything went well. The only thing I'd like to see Uhaul generally do differently is the digital walk through. The photos they have don't really show whether there is damage or not. I always take close-ups of all damage so there are no questions later. Only takes a couple of minutes, and could possibly deter problems upon return. The 17-footer that I rented was the most raggediest truck I ever drove. I understand you guys are phasing out the 17 footer but that joker had six inches of play in the steering wheel and had a radiator leak other than that everything else got done.RAYMOND J.
They need more help. There was one man doing everything!! At the time we went he was very busy. That said, although it took some time he was very pleasant. The check in with the driver's license HAVING to be uploaded by us was a big draw back. They should have been able to process it at the counter and not put it on us.BRADLEY O.

This comment is more about u-haul its self than the actual store. I ordered a trailer at the store in Lemoore Ca. Received a confirmation receipt and everything. On the day I was supposed to move I went to pick up the trailer and the guy didn't have anything scheduled for me. He had 2 trailer in the parking and was about to close in 10 minutes so I asked if I could just rent one of those. He said no and he called the store in Hanford CA and that person had my order in his system. I never received a notification that this change had been made. When I got to the second store he didn't have any trailers to rent. He said he had one on its way back so I waited for nearly 3 hours. The guy who was bringing the trailer back never showed up. The poor old man running the store even kept his doors open an extra hour to rent me this trailer that never showed up. My storage unit was closed by this point so I couldn't move my stuff there like I needed to. I ended up having to drive and hour and a half away to get a trailer just so I could have one in the morning. The uhaul system has some kind of malfunction that needs fixed to prevent the multiple errors that ended up costing me the half a day I took off work plus a 100 dollars to the place I was living in because I couldn't move the day I had scheduled everything. Unless there is some kind of extraordinary customer retention effort made by uhaul to repay the time and money waisted by their mistakes, I will be looking for other means when I need to move my things in the winter to go to my new duty station.BRANDON S.

I think this is the worst experience I have ever had with your company and we use to use your company ever time we move. I went on line and set up the use of a truck for the weekend of the 26th. It was for a one way from Huntington Beach to Fresno. The Huntington Beach location called and said they were having trouble finding a one way trip truck and if we were interested in picking up in Fresno and returning it back to same location they would give us extra days and 700 or 750 in miles. We knew it was going to be a little extra in gas but that was fine. My husband went and picked up truck on Thurs and they charged our card 860 something. The guy Sam where we picked up said don't worry we will adjust when you drop off. My husband called me worried about the price and i told him it was only supposed to be 347.00.I told my husband we would call in morning and see what's going on. I called the Fresno location that morning and it went to your call center. I finally spoke to someone and they said they seen the notes the girl in Huntington Beach had put and she did not understand why they charged so much, Amy put me on hold and than transfer me to Linda. Linda stated that she was opening a claim. And she would call me in the morning because she was on it. I have never heard from her again. I called on Saturday and the said there was a claim open and to give them 72 hrs. We had a time frame because my mother is on oxygen and needed to be up in Fresno by Sunday because of her oxygen tanks. So when we went to take back truck again with Sam he said we would be charged and than they would refund and than charge us the 347.00. We got an email from Chris and it said we would be charge 430 something. And than this morning I looked at my back account and was charged 862.36. I really want to know what is going on.Martin P.

Due to Covid staff was limited, understandable. But the male staff on hand on Tuesday, March 24, 2021 was exceptional! It was after 3:00p.m when we returned our rental and there were multiple drop-offs already in the que. This individual was checking in and verifying ALL yet he maintained exceptional courtesy, humor, attention to detail, and inquired to our regards of our over-all experience. This is by far the worst experience I've had with this company. Not only would I not recommend this Uhaul I will stay away from using Uhaul ever again. I rented a uhaul with a hitch except there wasn't a towing ball on the truck I rented. Then I called to find another hitch and waited for 1.5 hours on the phone and NEVER RECIEVED A REPLY. had to buy a hitch and missed my time to get my boat to the harbor so I had to stay overnight, rent your pile of shit truck another day, with no hitch except the one I had to buy. The guy or gal that owns this place is a fucking monkey whose WHORE MOTHER should be shot in her GIANT cunt. can't hire someone to answer the phone you fucking monkey tub of SHIT.
