I went in Tuesday to rent a truck and Wednesday to resolve a problem with the mileage and the gas level. The same man helped me both times. Very grumpy and unhappy man. The parking lot is horrible.

What is the point of the mobile check-in? I was ready to pick up my key when I went inside and had to wait for someone behind the counter to finish with everyone in front of me to get the key. I stood there 10 minutes. If I had skipped the mobile check-in and went inside immediately, I would have saved so much time.

I dropped off the car hauler Saturday at 4pm, three hours before this center closed. I sat in the drop off area where there was a posted sign that said to please wait with the equipment being returned until an employee assisted me. After waiting 15 minutes, with NO Uhaul employees in sight, I went into the store where ONE employee was checking out a customer. There were 4 people in the line ahead of me. After waiting about 5 minutes and with the first person still being served, someone in line asked if he could just leave the truck? The employee told him that he could. I then asked if I could leave the trailer, the employees said, yes, "I’m here alone and I will check it in for you when I can." Since I didn’t have an hour to continue waiting, I left the trailer after taking several pictures which I’m sure are time stamped. Since the trailed was returned well before the location closed I was surprised to get an email from Uhaul letting me know that I had been charged $20 for “After Hours Return Service”. I might use Uhaul again but I will never go to this location again. The tire store that I picked up the trailer had excellent service. Hard to believe a Uhaul service center was so far below a business that rents Uhauls on the side!

The gas tank was siphoned and I used a half tank of gas from spillage going only 60 miles. I have had nothing but trouble with uhaul this time. Customer service poor, equipment poor.

Don’t know the mans name but he looked as if he hated his job. No sense of urgency. Chugged his coffee for a bit and then looked at me. I walked up assuming he was ready and told him I was there to pick up a U-Haul. I felt as if I was doing most of the work. Wasn’t very inviting. I’m not looking for all the energy in the world but to feel comfortable enough to ask questions would be nice.

I've rented for years but this guy who helped me upon coming to pick up i found rude i didn't see anyone in the area so i called out twice. He came from in back and said i was yelling just hold on if i would. I said i wasn't yelling he was irritated i guess i disturbed him smelled like pizza. I was rented a truck that had the light on for low gas i was on a time line i told him he said go across the street a block away i choose the price i pay for gas he said the light was for something else. Needless to say i had to stop and get gas right away i returned the truck within 3 hours with more gas then i got and was charge about $58.00. Its affordable but customer service is really bad why would you allow that to be rented like that bring it back where you get it but on Empty That's unacceptable but my timeline was an issue but it wont happen again. Upon returning another gentleman assisted me i told him i had bad service but it appears its ok so this i hope is looked at as a customer complaint that will be looked at but i will make sure when i use you again i wont rent if im not treated with a little better attitude because he was just plain nasty.

Perhaps it was all in the contract, but verbally emphasizing some things, like the cleaning fee, would have helped me be better prepared for extra charges. Also, I found the online return difficult because my phone wouldn't cooperate with things like getting a code from email and returning to the check in process to enter it. I would have liked more info about the drop off process in advance. The place was closed and we were tight for time and it was a stressful situation. I really thought I would just be dropping a key in a box like with a rental car.
