I had rented a trailer a month in advance that I needed to take supplies to an event. The trailer instead of being held was sent out. I was extremely upset to find out that something that I had counted and reserved way in advance was not available when I arrived. Though I was treated extremely well by the individuals at the desk and they did find another trailer for me at another location, I wonder about the business model that would allow this to occur. I rent trailers several times a year for events, can I count on a reservation being fulfilled? The only reason for the above average rating is the employees who work at the location have time in and out treated me extremely well. No one though can explain to me why they were not willing to fulfill my reservation and have a trailer ready and on site when I arrived.

website reservation didn’t work, person on the phone reserved two trucks when I asked for one, dolly was provided that I didn’t request, driver side mirror was loose and unsafe, and the cost to refuel at U-Haul was incredulous

The staff was nowhere to be found and rude. The guy who hooked up the trailer was nice but the “management” wasn’t. I rent from uhaul quite often and I would not recommend . Plus they are not able to fulfill my reservation request and the lady that called me to tell me what my options was rude as well. As a plus this only happens to me about 1 in 5 time I rent from uhaul but that is still 20%. The Henderson uhaul off of boulder highway has done so well I am beginning to think it has made me think less of what I was used to for renting from uhaul.

When an Auto Transport is being rented, ask the customer if they are loading the vehicle on site, so instruction can be provided and assistance, if requested.

I was upset to find out I had to pay more than what I was told. I wish they had been upfront about the total amount I was going to have to pay, had I known that I would have chosen a different option. Service is horrible because they are so busy they do not take the time to break down the payment. I give it thumbs down!

the truck interior was dusty, though not filthy, the driver mirror was partially blocked on 1/6 of the surface, due to some torn r sticky tape partially obscuring vision, outside of truck had not been cleaned. these vehicles need to be washed before renting, it should have been fully cleaned prior to renting to me, it was not

1. Smell of gas in the cab made the move unbearable. Had to drive with window down and stop to get fresh air. When i called the store i was put on hold and never picked up 2. Gas guage was inop causing me to run out of gas 3. Vehicle pulled to the right it would change lanes unless steering to the left

Picked up my truck on Sunday, July 1st... Got to my apartment And started loading and the dolly that came in the truck was broken... We had to load my whole apartment by hand... Drove the truck to a new city an hour away and that truck was all over the road... The steering had so much play in it I felt like I was fighting to keep it on the road... And it shook... It shook so bad and my fingertips were tingling when I got there... All of this up a mountain on little winding mountain roads... As we were unloading the truck (again with no dolly) I was just glad that I had made arrangements to drop the truck off in my new city so I wouldn’t have to drive it back... Truck due date, July 3rd... I started to gather everything together (keys and contracts) so I could deliver the truck back to U-Haul and I then found out that U-Haul hadn’t given me a one way truck like I had requested, but I now had to drive it for another hour, back down a mountain road, put more gas in it and the mileage would now double... Not to mention having to have someone else follow back to bring me back home... I tried to call the yard directly to find out why I was given a one way truck and I was placed on hold, listening to ads about how great and helpful U-Haul is, for 45 minutes.... When I finally got back to the U-Haul yard, I was almost in tears and shaking so bad from just trying to keep that truck on the road... An employee from U-Haul met me at the truck and I told him how bad the truck was and how terrified I was driving it and how unhappy I was that I was given a one way truck to which he answered, and I quote “What do you want to do about the gas, it’s a little low”... He then proceeded to give me directions to the nearest gas station and with me in tears, put me back into that truck to put $10.00 in the gas tank... I got the gas put in the truck and again made it back to the yard and now there was no one around... No one!!!! I stood in that return area for almost 45 minutes before I was helped again... (I arrived at U-Haul at 9:48 am and didn’t leave till 10:49... All for what should have been a simple return)... When we were finally helped again, it was a different employee, and I explained everything to him and seemed, at first, extremely understanding and helpful... He said that he wouldn’t charge me for the extra mileage since that was a mistake of U-Haul and for my bad experience would only charge me one day instead of two... He showed me that my total would then be $73 instead of $155... I still wasn’t happy but I was at least glad that someone understood how I felt... He also said that he was going to put the truck “down” and have it towed to see what was wrong with it... That part made me happier than anything else... The thought if another person behind the wheel of that truck is just terrifying.... Fast forward to this morning, July 5th... I received my email receipt from U-Haul and it still shows a total of $155.00... So after

The order was wrong and the were unable to fix it so we ended up renting just a pickup instead of a truck and trailer. The attitude of the manager, and his obvious hangover made us decide to do everything in our power to avoid Uhaul in the future

I rented a truck and a "dolly" for hauling a car; the staff suggested what turned out to be a very useful recommendation of packing the truck first, them coming back to the Uhaul yard to load the car onto the trailer. I appreciated their making useful suggestions, they did not have to be that helpful.

Opening salesperson opened 15 min. Late and never acknowledged me and another customer waiting. He proceeded to do other things and when I asked why this was happening he responded with anger and told me that I had parked in a space which wasn't for me. I told him that I didn't know because I never done business with this location and the two spaces didn't have a no parking sign. I told him I just wanted to pick up my reserved trailer and he just lost it. He said he had enough of my kind and he was refusing to serve me & he didn't care who I call. He proceeded to help others which got there long after me. I'm old and have done a lot of business with you for many years and have never been treated in such a manner. The other customer told me that she had a similar experience when she picked up her truck the day prior with same sales associate. He is not happy and should not work with people.

The U-Haul service at this location was satisfactory, but I was not happy with the LONG WAIT to pick up my rental. I had taken my time to make a RESERVATION online 2-3 weeks in advance, but I still had to wait about 40 minutes before I could secure my rental.
