The raiting would be higher but the day after returning the trailer I rented, I received a call asking where it was. The person who did the turn in for me made sure I was charged for the rental but didn't follow through with the rest of the return process. I'm just glad it didn't happen to roll off over night leaving me on the hook for the equipment.

I was charged $1.29 a mile. Website says .99 cents a mile. I got trucks that were ready to break down. The first one I brought back, the 2nd one had the check engine light on. I was told it was the gas cap. Tried the gas cap, unless the sensor itself was broken, it wasn't the gas cap. I put in more than enough gas to make sure I got the vehicle back with a quarter tank, I wasn't credited for the other 1/4 tank. Gas is expensive. So was renting for less than 6 hours. $171. The doors had to be slammed shut for safe driving otherwise someone could fall out. Everyone else got the better vehicles of the lot, and I made my reservation the day before. I got the ones parked next to the fence that said 'rent me' in the window. They'd been sitting there for a while. I might be a woman and I'm not a mechanic but I do know vehicles and the mechanics of them. This location used to be the best location, I will never rent from here again and maybe never rent from any uhaul ever again. Not only that, there was spit on the ground. People walk here. The guy that helped me was nice though.

My original order was for a Cargo Van. The assigned van was in an accident two days before my rental date. U-Haul called changed the vehicle to a 10-foot box truck at no extra charge. Great customer service!

Check out the vehicle before renting out. The check engine light never went out, you couldn't turn off the tow haul mechanism, the info board constantly read "check fuel cap" the padlock on the cargo door didn't function and the radio didn't work. I've had good experience with U-HAUL in the past but not with this location. I'm afraid I won't in the future either.

The pick up truck smelled sooooo bad. I don't even know what the smell was. It wasn't smoke or garbage, but something had obviously spilled inside cab— it was awful. It felt dirty, obvious dust all over dash. Floors were fine. Whoever checked me in was awesome and helpful. When I drove up to drop the pick-up off, sign says stay in car. So I waited and waited behind two giant moving trucks that had been dropped off. I finally went inside to get process completed. Two guys working, did not look up from their phones until I got to the counter. Gave one man the key and he said I'd get an email receipt. Today— (24 hours later) I get a text and call about the “overdue equipment” I had. Whoever I gave the key to did not check me out or send email receipt. (I did eventually, and it was closed out as returned). I understand being busy, but they were not on store phones and there were no customers present. With the freak out I had thinking, “how will I prove I returned my rental way ahead of time?” I think I'll be going to another uhaul store for my upcoming move.

The key was not left in the box we had to wait 30 min until someone came. The truck we rented was left with no gas and didn't even make it 500 feet when it turned off. The employee was so rude and said that we should have taken it straight to a gas station when we didn't even make it far off from the parking lot. Maybe if there would have been enough gas we could have made it.

Nothing the gentleman was supper helpful, you did not have the truck I rented due to the customer not brining it back in time. He put me in a truck that fit my needs with minimal issues. Thank you for having people that make problems go away quickly.

Ok first off there was NO gas in the truck when we got it...yes we did get credit for returning it back at a quarter of a tank still was a hassle. Second didn't go 2 miles and got home and the key was STUCK in the ignition and its so hard to contact that particular store. Third the brakes were shot! Like none at all...pretty scary actually. Fourth we clean up after we use a truck and this truck had NOT been cleaned. Still had moving blankets from previous people who had the truck in the back along with other random debris. Definitely wasn't happy with the truck AT ALL. Oh and last 24 hours after we had dropped of the truck we got a call from a uhaul employee saying that they have still not gotten their truck back so they obviously didn't even mark it as back once it returned

First. I when into the store. No one was inside. I when outside the guys said the manager was “taking a shit” . Then he comes out and gives me a truck that has a low tire pressure, and engine light on. And then I get charged for bringing the truck late???????? Makes no sense , I rented the truck at 9am and brought it back the same day. Why did I get charged another day?? To top it off the worker said he “will take off extra charge if I give him a 20 in cash , the I said I didn't have cash, he said to go in the ATM in the store” like this place is bad.

Unfortunately this experience renting a 26' truck was terrible, Heat blowing from under the seat the entire trip, the heater nor air conditioner system was on, outer passenger window frame missing window was shaking the entire trip, had to drive with the window down, Cab of trailer not cleaned someone spilled a drink(assuming) on the passenger side dash board, trailer was shaking so bad even with a full load at 50-55mph, gas tank was on "E" in the red not even at 1/8th that was marked (if having trouble with gas be siphoned put a lock on the gas caps) one of the employees who met me at the truck even commented that he doesn't know why is this truck even being used. When I checked out at the counter he said he couldn't do anything, call the 1-800 phone number...he was physically out at the truck with the other employee looking at the truck and just shrugged saying he couldn't do anything...this is so wrong!! Terrible customer service! I will have to rethink of ever using U-Haul again.

1. Wouldn't fill my reservation unless they could text a cell phone. I don't own one so I had to leave. called another location who gave me area manager number and he fixed it. 2. Mud on back bumper and inside 3. Cab clean but reeked of cigarette smoke 4. Gas cap missing - no gas cap!! 5. They said 1/4 tank but it was empty. I'm sure siphoned 6. Drove it 7 miles to my house then both load and unload were between my house and this location. On return they said 53 miles. Showed them the photo showing no gas that also had odometer. It was 14 exactly. I've gone to the north blackstone location 3 or 4 times and have never had any problems. 5 minutes and I'm on my way. This location was an absolute nightmare. I will never go back there.

I have rented from this location in the past and have not been very happy with their service. There are two employees that were there and noticed them whispering and laughing when they recognized me while waiting in line. It made me feel uncomfortable. The check in though was ok and the van was in perfect condition.

After hour returned, inspected the vehicle and appeared to be no damages----Next morning, CRS check it in--no problem. Received my receipt via email, confirming final charge. An hour later, received a second receipt for a full refund--2 days later received a receipt for a additional charge for damaged equipment. Called and asked why, no surveillance proof was provided; all that I was told was that there appeared to be damage. I was told, "large passenger rear glass window appeared to be pushed outward from the inside, there was glass shatter." I requested for proof and I was told I'm not able to receive proof. I requested them to investigate in the notes provided by after hours rep. on the phone due to the website failure at the time of return, didn't allow me to check-in and rep instructed me to put the keys "inside the glove box" which the vehicle(cargo van) did not have, so I stored it under the driver seat. I requested they look into the surveillance and prove that I was the one who caused it, from the time I returned it to the time they noticed the damage--UHAUL gone silent. Unexplained. No proof. Decided I was at fault. I'm an honest man with a clean record, came to fresno cali. from wisconsin simply just to move a family member's belongings from point A to Point B to go-over and bring some things(clothes & shoes) back to Wisconsin. NEVER EVER coming to this branch ever again, nor renting from uhaul EVER AGAIN. Would not recommend. I feel scammed and guilt tripped over something they would not and could not prove that I was the actual one at fault. I simply did my responsibility; did not go anywhere other than point A to point B; and hauled only boxes of clothes (nothing heavy or containing any large or solid object that could possibly do such damage). I would GLADLY accept fault, IF THERE WAS PROOF. I did all i was instructed to do and inspected. No photos were taken because I was only instructed to if there was. No photos were taken prior to leaving the lot because it was in good condition, from the time it left the lot, to when it was returned, SAME CONDITION. SCAMMED.

The general manager took a picture of me as if I was going to steal the truck and not come back. He insisted on an alternate phone number, I only have 1 and I live alone. My kin are India, how do I produce an alternate phone number? Most people only have 1 cell phone these days, no millennial keeps a landline. Additionally, I paid extra for mattress and sofa cover that I never got. Please kindly train this general manager, no one is trying to steal an U-Haul, especially dirty one that was given to me with Arizona plates.

I was initially given a van that needed to have its tire pressure checked and its service engine light was on. So the young man just switched me to another van, which had the same issues. He filled up the tires (one was especially low) and I was on my way. This was a 2 day trip with nearly 300 miles planned. When I woke up the next morning (over 100 miles from home) the air pressure in my tire had significantly decreased again. And I noticed when I was driving that the tire pressure sensor would fault frequently. The young man who checked me out was very friendly and helpful, as well as the man who checked me back in when I arrived back into town. However, the vehicles are obviously not well maintained or even checked before renting them out to customers.

I had a 26 ft truck I reserved when I got ready to take off the engine light was on the truck was on empty no fuel I did not go far filled it up $210 of fuel I drove a little ways fuel was just pouring out I brought it back it was inconvenience for me because I had to move that day the next day I had a truck I pre-tripped it no water in the radiator once again fuel was on 1/4 as me as a customer it was inconvenience and very poor I get to my destination Waters dripping from the radiator a quart of oil was low the back of the 26 ft was filthy as a big Corporation you guys should be aware of this the person who brought it back should have worn U-Haul but they send it out what the engine light out there has to be a reason why the engine light came on sat around inconvenience for me to get another truck the next day very poor on your equipment please look into all this

My storage unit got broke into twice in the 3 months I rented it. Second time we went back there was a random lock that didn't belong to us. I know it's not ok to accused without proof but I definitely think it's an inside job.

The person that helped me was very rude. The process of getting the unit took almost an hour. Even though i had already did everything online before arriving. Then once all the paperwork was done i went to locate my storage unit only to find that they had rented someone elses unit. I had to go back in the office and instead of signing a new contract with the new unit number he just crossed off the old one and wrote the new unit on my contract. Never again i will be looking for a new unit

Unsecured location no gated access and the unit was not cleaned.There was Liquid stains and debris.The good part is they have big locks to the unit that the store would unlock along with that ,the tenant’s can have their lock. Door latches are sturdy and heavy metal that are hard to open.
