It would be very handy if your larger open trailers and all enclosed trailers had a crank jack and folding wheel on the hitch bar. Lifting the thing off the hitch ball is hard empty, impossible when loaded.

Truck steering was loose and the acceleration was rough and sluggish. Very dangerous for the road. Almost $200 for 10 hours. Didnt know we only had 10 hours until pickup. Hardly made the deadline.

I was given a trailer that did not have working tail lights. Unfortunately, I did not realize this until I was half way down to West Virginia. It was raining on & off and other vehicles were honking their horn at me. Finally, someone rolled down their window & shouted that I had no tail lights.

Try not to the customer that the location for pickup that was only 3 miles away was changed the day before to a location 30 miles away. The service at 381 rt.211 was excellent. The added 60mile round trip to pick up the rental was very poor.

When sending the finished contract/receipt upon return of the rental maybe it could be sent in a different fomat.. as it is difficult to open and review depending on the type of electronics you are using (cell, laptop, tablet,etc).

When U-Haul schedules an apt with a customer for a specific time uhaul should not take it upon themselves to change it. when My first apt that was made the pick up location was a location on main street and kingston ave in port jervis ny i reserved a van to drive to college in oneonta ny to pick up my two girls. i made it two weeks prior and when i showed up at the location on the pick up day not only did the location not have a van but the pick up time was changed and nobody notified me prior. Uhaul was nice enough to send me middletown ny where they had numerous vans and took care of me, gave me a free dolly and &50 credit on my card. The location in port jervis that i am complaining about is J’s mobil on main st. And kingston ave. I made the apt 2 weeks prior and on the pick up day there was no van available and pick time was changed with out notice

When I arrived to pick up the truck it was not ready. The truck was at the facility and available but the employee who was in charge of that must have forgot to check it in. When I received the paperwork the fuel gage was highlighted at “full”. It was In fact not “full”. I have pictures with time stamps to prove it. When I received the statement for the rental I was charged $33 dollars for gas because it was not properly checked in from the last person. I also have the receipt from the gas station that is also time stamped and can be compared to the time of drop off. I have been on vacation and unable to call the facility but they should be expecting a call. I should not be responsible for the mistakes of incompetent and immature employees.

The truck that i had reserved online wasnt returned by the previous renter and made me wait a long time for a resolution. Would have appreciated for them to contact me ahead of time that the truck wasnt available. Also they should've transferred my previous reservation i made online to the next place they sent me since the inconvenience was on their part and not mines. But the workers were Pleasant although i wasnt happy.

The only thing was that the steering wheel was oily and the smudge finger prints on the mirrors. The cup holders also had a sticky residue and to my surprise there were four stink bugs in the passenger vent. But otherwise ok.

At entrance while in the truck, there were instructions to wait until a staff came out. Staff never came out which was a little confusing because I wasn’t sure whether just to leave the truck or any other instructions.

My credit card was charged the estimate cost and then when I returned the truck it was charged the actual amount. So as of today I've been charged twice. The estimate is pending but not released as of 4 days after returning the vehicle.

Again uhaul stuck in a charge that I did not request when I did my online reservation I didn’t need a dolly but since there was one I was charged! Waiting on return call to credit me back. This is twice ! Two weeks ago I was charged insurance when I clearly declined it online. When I called today the response I get is that I have to reiterate what I want and don’t want! What’s the point of doing it online????

I scheduled the rental online for the Fair Oaks Mobile. It closed at 5 so I scheduled by rental for 4:30. I walked through the door at 4:40 and the guy behind the counter rolled his eyes, sighed and said he would have to call his boss. His boss said “too late” and cancelled my reservation. I had to go to 211 Location to get the rental. Then I was 2 hours late in returning it, I called and said as much and I got charged for a whole additional day. I will be looking at other companies next time.

The facility is very well lit, but the access is not as secure as it should be. Once someone opens the door, it opens and shuts too readily. Anyone who doesn't belong there could easily get in.
