Unit was cleaner at drop off than p/u. I was charged $15 cleaning fee for my troubles; I only learned of it when I reviewed the emailed receipt. When questioned about it, 2 clerks insisted there was nothing they could do tho' clearly they had the authority to apply the fee. They never inquired about the engine light or my experience with the vehicle. I'll leave the attitudes out of this; perhaps they had a bad day?MALCOLM M.

Make sure the people you have issuing out trucks or equipment gives the correct knowledge before being scandalous and lying about things they tell you. The white guy at this location was rude asf after I told him about what he told me, then he even tried to look because he know he verbally told me something different in person then what he did over the phone. He tried to get an attitude when I told him I wouldn't come here again, I hung up on him. You won't talk to me like that and think I'm going to listen. Bye!ALICIA E.
We were told we could not pick up our truck until 6pm because it would not be turned in until 6pm and give it time to be cleaned up. That was the day before pick up. Then the next day on our way to pick up truck. We were called and notified that since we were not there by 9 am they gave our truck away. This was a pick up in Odessa Texas. Advise of where to park truck when returning it. Not charge for 2 rental periods when it was back in 6 hours (time we stated it would be used) Total chaos in office - they appeared to be shorthanded. Screaming out the door! Very unprofessional!!!!! On phone right now trying to resolve being charged 2 rental periods and 2 insurances! All of a sudden there is a $20 after hours charge for leaving truck after they close. Unfortunately was hung up on after speaking to 2 people at the local store. Very RUDE!! One of the reps at the location was rude and acted as if it was a self-service location. Last I checked I paid for my rental items which I'd returned in the same shape I taken them. If I did not fold the blankets it's because I wasn't first informed and two, I would think that the blankets would get washed upon return.JASON G.

Customer service is unacceptable...I've rented twice at this location and I've had bad experience First time the guy gave me a truck with a flat tire...so rude ... almost laughing for reckless mistake....I was already on the road when I found out the truck was defective. Wasted my time I had to move out from an apartment.... No apology from him Second time...I received the same rude customer service... This company needs to work on its employees...for some reason they transmit a very stressed and unhappy energy... This is a single mother experience and perspective ... My only issue at this location was with Rachel G. I had a reservation for 01/29 at pm. I was late and when I got there she said that unfortunately my reservation got cancelled because I was late , So I asked if there was another auto transporter that I could rent , she checked on the computer and said that there were no more transporters available, I ask her to check around , and she did but got the same answer, So I stepped outside and got on my U-Haul app and started checking availability and for my surprise is said that they had some at that same location, I called a phone # and I did the reservation over the phone , I went inside and told Rachel that I was able to make the reservation over the phone, she didn't say anything and started to get my paper work done, When we went to hook up the transporter there were about 4 or 5 of them, I'm not sure why she deny to help me at first , Everything else besides that was perfect . Every time I use unsullied and reserve a truck they say is available then it's always a smaller truck then what I needed I reserved a 26 foot truck I ask if they had one and nope got there and had to get a 20 foot one I told them I was moving a 3 bedroom home and was assured the smaller one would accommodate it in one trip it was just furniture and appliances and bedroom furniture no boxes at all well ended up making 2 trip which I got charged for because of the mileage. I didn't think that was fair after they assured that the smaller trailer was going to accommodate my needs. This is not the first time this has happened when using haul.percilla G.

The truck was raggedy. The steering and overall ride of the vehicle was so bad I almost drifted in another vehicle. It was very wobbly. I reported it to the employees. The lady was very helpful and sympathetic but the guy she called was like whatever. I still got charged the full amount. I will never rent from that location again.Lation F.

The u-haul rep was rude and abrasive. They made a mistake and refused to honor the price that was on my confirmation contract. He accused us of wanting to start something. Extremely rude when he found out it was their error. I would never recommend anyone to this location. The trailer was dirty and not swept out when we picked it up. As someone who has worked food service, retail, and customer service, I understand how annoying it is when customers arrive just before closing. I also know one should still assist a customer at that time. I was turned away 5 minutes before closing while attempting to return the truck. The app was wholly unstable during checkout, and I was attempting to avoid using it for the return. Again, I understand it's annoying, but not at all right to be refused while on premises during business hours. As predicted the app was horrid on check-in. I spent 30 minutes in the cold repeating the process until it finally worked. I also needed to speak to them about a possible double charge, or a breakdown of fees to see why my final price was $100 more than quoted originally.Michael M.
