ABIGAIL LI would advise to be a better company for the customers is to reimburse someone for 25 to 30 dollars on extra gas. If you rig your policy and terms and conditions to screw over a customer thats what some would call just business. Well , my opinion is its corporate greed. You make all the policy to benefit your company. Now, if I go over the specified mileage, what do you do? You charge me. If I dont return the truck clean, what do you do? You charge me. If I dont return the truck with the correct gas, what do you do? You charge me! Now I spent quite a bit of money with your company and if I dont get my 25 to 30 dollars back to me in the form of credit back to my card, check, or cash, then you will lose me as a customer. I dont want your store credit for you to just have me come back and ensure you get the money back that you gave me. I want MY money back. So, if you decide you cannot accommodate my needs I have a whole lot of friends that use UHAUL, and I will refer them elsewhere. They move yearly and travel very long distances. So Im Sure that 25 to 30 dollars isn't worth thousands of dollars In Revenue a year for you guys. But overall, your service is horrible, but the trucks are clean!
SHAWN Mspeed up the amount of time when you pull in and are ready to drop off your rental. it took them over 15 minutes to greet me and tell me where to drop my trailer.
CRAIG G1. My first reservation had the wrong phone number and I did not get a reservation number. 2. I called in to see if I could pick up the truck earlier and call was sent somewhere else besides the store. 3. Reservation could never be found because I didn’t have the number and phone number was incorrect. 4. Made a second reservation with correct phone number and got a reservation number. 5. Time to pick up truck, had 2 reservations so cancelled one. 6. Asked to upgrade to larger truck & was denied 7. Rented a dolly & got a small one when needed a bigger one 8. I pushed the dolly to the truck not the store associate 9. The associate stood back and pointed to the truck again I’m pushing the dolly not the associate 10. The associate would not help me open the back door until I asked nor help me load the dolly into the truck or close the door. 11. This was the worst customer service I’ve experience at U-Haul and have rent many U-Haul’s in my lifetime. 12. When truck was returned, had a different associate and he was very nice and friendly. 13. Went inside to get a receipt and the associate that “didn’t help me” the day before was working and could have gotten my receipt but instead he waited until the lady associate finished helping another customer then gave me a receipt. 14. I didn’t get his name but if he is going to work with customers he needs to be trained better on how to help customers instead of being lazy and standing back watching the customer do all of the work. 15. Not a gentleman from my growing up standards.
DIANA PDidnt have time to explain app rental was for two days, but only used it for one, but appears still paid for two...not sure how that works...
JESUS SAdd a sticker to car dolly's that say to undo safety chains BEFORE loading a vehicle. Or employees could tell customers, that would be nice. Couldn't undo them with the car loaded, there was zero slack. Customer service could be better too. Parking is confusing as well..

One lot however stated they really don’t take trailers so it was close to the home but not listed as a drop off location . So I drove to the destination I had chosen . Update and training are needed
THOMAS AMake sure keys are left in building for the trucks so people do not have to wait for employees to find them and bring them in. make sure you as a company have undated drop off places. the drop off place chosen was no longer in business so had to hunt for a new drop off place.

KEITH CThe man who provided the keys is the ONLY reason this is not a 1 star review. I reserved a 15ft. After 3pm on a Tuesday, I received a reservation call from the rudest person I've ever talked to. She had 0 empathy and does not do a good job to present a situation with reasonable alternatives without the customer asking a bunch of clarifying questions. She clearly does not want to work there and you should review my reservation call. Performance plan is definitely needed as I'm sure my call is not the only one she handled with the tact of a moose. Not only was the 15 foot not available, the 10 foot was the alternative with NO TRAILER offered. I moved out of state and had to leave hundreds of dollars worth of belongings since I did not have room. I'll avoid uhaul from here on out. No offense to the man who gave the keys. He was great.

DEBRA MHigher managers that aren’t assholes and employees that don’t lie and actually have somebody that can explain the contract to you and not tell you one thing and then charge you for another when you’re thinking that it’s supposed to be something else. Overall my experience sucked. Everybody was rude, even the general manager Highly recommend hiring people that are actually qualified to do the job.

JOSE AThis location was so busy that I can understand that not everything is perfect. There was some sticky stuff on the floor of the truck but other than that the truck was good. The reservation itself was a disaster. I called and rented a 20 ft and then the day before I was called and they said that I could only give me a 26 ft for the same price. So I asked if I could pick it up early like 9 or 10.and they said yes. The day I was headed to the store they said I couldn't pick it up till 2. Then another call came later not to pick up till 3. Then I called to make sure and they said till 4 because of a late return. So I got to the store at a little after 4 stood in line for about 45.minutes and finally spoke to a clerk. Really nice guys, but they were so busy...that was crazy. I told him about the whole issue and he said he had a few 20ft trucks that just arrived. There was a smell in the back, but other than that small wet spot inside the back of the truck was fine. I asked if I could return it after closing and they said yes and that it would only be a day charge. Today after returning it with fuel, they charged me over $60 dollars and I couldn't understand why. Please someone let me know why. Thank you. I always use U-HAUL and that will never change,.but more employees would be great! I have to rent a trailer in a few weeks so I will go to the same location.

CYNTHIA AMore thorough inspection of equipment I had to antop twice to reattach the tire strap on the dolly and a follow up call with more than a days notice to confirm equipment is available.
JOSE FI had to rent a 10 foot truck when I only needed a pickup truck or cargo van. If you are not going to have them you should not advertise them.

ISMAEL AThe dolly wasn't at the location we picked the truck up at.We had to drive 26 miles to get one,that trip put us over milage and I was charged for it.The GM of the Midland location was awesome though,shes the one who found us a dolly. I spoke with customer service and was told there was nothing they could do about the mileage overage. I was told this sort of thing happens alot.So basically I had to pay an extra $44 for Uhauls mistake.
