They had the vehicle ready, but wish they had it ready to drive like by removing the sign out of the windshield. Also, they forgot to hand me the blanket that I rented with the truck. They said they would reimburse me, but I have my doubts.
Takeya OHello, U-Haul Midway was fine, they had the truck ready and it was clean. The staff were quick and responsive. No reason to not recommend this location and their staff. I was disappointed with the overall experience with the rental. I originally reserved the truck for pickup from a different location. When I arrived, there was no truck for my pickup; it was a location with no staff. When I called to ask, I was told at that point that the truck hadn't been returned and that I would have to go to another location (which cost extra money out of my pocket, as I was taking Lyft to get to the rental spot for logistics). I would have appreciated a notice before I got to the first lot that my truck wasn't going to be available for pick up. I was also disappointed that when I sent a question asking if I could change my drop-off location, considering that the pickup/drop-off location wasn't the one I had originally requested, I was told no. And then the website broke and stopped allowing me to send responses. UHaul didn't have a truck ready for me at the location I needed, and I was flexible for the pick up, but couldn't get flexibility for the drop off.

JESSE LWe lost Milage because Dolly were forgotten at your location. Truk needs service frotend alignment and ball joint control arm repair also has and exhaust leak eithier at exhaust or manifold. Truck was dangerously swaying at highway speeds.

Charles G | First ImpressionsI initially walked-in to the U-Haul store at 4000 W 40th St, and they did not have a cargo van immediately available. The staff member on site quickly located a cargo van at the 47th St location, reserved it for me, and I was able to relocate and secure the cargo van within 20 minutes of that interaction. Overall staff was friendly and helpful. I am quite satisfied with my experience and will definitely use either of the two locations above in the future when/as needed.

IGNACIO RHi I ended up having the worst experience ever never again my location was switched from the location I originally picked then I go to location and guy and girl working behind counter tell my the credit card had to be a big name i said I booked it online with my Capitol One Card so confused then I got my key to U-haul was basically told nothing regarding anything with U haul beside fill gas i took a picture prior to leaving due to feeling uneasy with staff and location when I return I was told I didn't fill.gas I did and provided proof and I was charged $67 instead of the $19.95 that was advertised what a joke

MAGDALENE MRoughly 3-4 miles were added to my trip because the van I reserved was not available at the location I originally selected. Why should I have paid for the additional miles? If this happens again, the customer should be given credit for 3-5 miles instead of being penalized for U-Haul's inability to have a truck where they said they would - after having confirmed to the customer that the truck would be available at the customer's selected U-Haul location. That's crazy!

MARIA AAt first there was no assistances from any to insure the vehicle was ready they had a windshield size advertisement that no one had removed and I was told to take it off and throw it on the side. Second truck had broken sunvisors that keep falling and wouldn’t stay up. Vehicle did not feel safe once on the road truck tend to wonder left to right requiring more input from the driver and inside the cab something was loose letting heat in from the engine compartment in to the cab.
Miguel FAttendant was very professional and helpful. She went out of her way to inspect the trailer and lend me a hitch for my transport. I was very appreciative.

Well I was informed that U haul storage raises the price 3 times out the yr. I experienced when picked up some Christmas decorations there were roaches in my belongings. Now that I have closed my account I have to be cautious about the roaches in my belongings. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
