My experience at this location has also been a pleasant one but after about 15 yrs i was pleased to see that nothing has changed as far as friendliness, speedy associates, and welcoming atmosphere.

I was charged for 2 days because I returned the truck less than 30 minutes late. I was with the understanding that I had 24 hours and was told by Angelica Comparan that I only had 5 hours. When inquired how much more it would have cost to rent it for 24 hours, I was told it’s the same cost. I was NEVER given the option and left the facility thinking I had 24 hours to return the truck. Additionally, she refused to give me a number to the corporate offices to file a complaint. I will be filing a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General’s office for deceptive practices.

Manager and gentleman behind counter with both very understanding, thorough and polite. I don't always get this level of high customer satisfaction when I work with U-Haul, but I was very satisfied here. That was last time I did use uhaul! I asked lady that if I’ll bring truck next day in the morning that I will be charged extra. She said no extra charges so I don’t have to worry. Guess what!? I’ve been charged for it 60$ and now lady changing her side of the story!

Customer Service is very poor there is no communication in employees, you get to be ready for surprise between on phone reservation and physically go for pic up vehicle you may get ready to hear that your reservation is no available they do that without hesitate because they know ones you went there you got no choices but get whatever available they make there money anyway they don’t care about you..very bed..

I rented a 10 foot truck over the phone on a Thursday to be picked up on that Sunday. When I arrived they had me down for a cargo van. There was no way I could fit the tall washer and dryer I was moving. Then in the computer where you write down personal info, in the section for last name, the girl typed in no last name. I gave her my last name and I spelled it out for her. The gentleman that was working that day was the only one working the front desk while the new guy cleaned the trucks. The gentleman found a truck for me to rent. Iwanted to drop off the truck at the location we were driving to but the girl on phone gave us the wrong prices. It was too much money to drop it off. I told him I would just drop it back off at this location on 47th. He then had to get a different truck since I was dropping it back off there on 47th. I had to be there for about 45 minutes. There was a long line behind me cause he was the only one working the front desk. I got the truck and the gentleman showed my daughter where to drop off the keys, because we said we would be back that night. I then went back home to eat breakfast and then load up my appliances. My house is 7 minutes from that store location. I went to Romeoville from that location on 47th and Cicero. I took I55 to Weber Rd. I got to my location at 1:20 pm. I then left at 7:38 pm to head back to the store location. I parked the truck at about 8:19 pm I was charged the correct amount for miles on my card. Then 18 days later I received a text that I had $37.54 in tolls. I didn't understand that since there are no tolls on I55 going south and no tolls going I55 north. I called the billing number that is online. I was on the phone for an hour and a half. I was bounced around to 5 different departments. One lady took down my complaint. She then told me she was sending me to a department that might be able to help me today. That department said wrong department so they sent me to a different one Thste department tolls me supervisor wasn't there and she couldn't see my notes. She told me to call tomorrow at 7 am I called at 7:15 am. Supervisor wasn't there. The same lady from the night before said it was raining so she should be here by 8 am. I called at 8:50 am and same lady said supervisor was on the phone taking a reservation. 5 days later and I'm still waiting for that supervisor to call me. I called customer service that same day when I realized no one was helping me. The lady there said they should not have told me to call the next day that that was bad information. I explained to the lady that the tolls could not been grom the truck I was driving. There was 4 tolls and an administrative fee for $37.54. One of yhe tolls at 1:33 pm for $5.76. I arrived at my location at 1:20pm. There is no way it's the same truck. I have video of my truck arriving at 1:20pm n not leaving til 7:38 pm. Dropped truck off at 8:19 that same day.
