If it wasn't for Kylie and the service department I would have never considered returning as a customer after the roadside service debacle. Kylie and the service crew came out and made sure my vehicle was properly and safely secured to the care hauler and helped with a jack stand to level off a trailer so I could transfer my items to a truck more easily. On Saturday, March 4th I received a text from Uhaul with a confirmation code. On Sunday, March 5th, I received a "thanks for renting with us!" text from Uhaul. But I didn't rent anything from Uhaul.KATHERINE L.

The manager at the drop off location was not helpful when told that I had been lied to about the rates. She didn't offer to help resolve the problem. Your customer service sucks!!! I will definitely never Haul again and will tell everyone I know about being lied to and misled about rates. Manager was very helpful but likely understaffed. The trailer needed a new safety chain that the maintenance person had trouble replacing as well as trailer wiring that was significantly damaged. Uhaul website needs serious attention, I was unable to establish an online account due to technical issues on multiple occasions. I tried online chat to resolve the issue by filling out the name, phone, email information and detailed description of the issue...Uhail representative acknowledged receipt and we got disconnected....NO attempt by Uhaul to contact me to assist me. Need to have trucks with everything in working order for the customer from a leaking window to radio not working properly. And please have every vehicle on full in the gas tank. Mine was on Empty just enough to make it to the gas station and the credit for bringing it back above what was rented for the gas prices the credit should be based on current gas prices.Roger H.

Though the facility and staff were helpful, your system was down for at least two days, making it impossible to book online or even by phone and when I arrived late afternoon, with a full truck after a difficult moving and driving experience, the check in was excruciatingly tedious and time consuming. I must say that your the MWC manager, Cassie, did EVERYTHING she could to get me into a unit as quickly as possible but your manual booking procedure was a nightmare. The 24 hour access was an issue in the beginning that the staff never really helped me resolve. The day I planned on moving I called the store front to make sure the access would work for me as it didn’t the previous time I came before and I stressed the importance of it considering again I was moving out. After having my entire house full of stuff stored at this facility for 2 1/2 years. I started moving everything out of storage. Only to find that a colony of mice and rats had taken up residence in everything I own. All of my childrens childhood moments and moments are ruined. EVERYTHING! To include every piece of linen or any cloth of any type that was in a box. All eaten by mice and rats. The unit leaked towards the back. Something that could be seen from the front of a full 26’ unit. I was told, by Scott (said he was the president of marketing over all of uhaul), to claim it on insurance. He also said it was 100% that facilities fault. Because they were using an old 26’ uhaul truck enclosure that had not been properly sealed. There were several opening he saw that he said are normally covered with metal and welded. My unit wasn’t. My great grandmothers quilts from the 20’s and 30’s. ALL 12 of them! Gone! My father in laws pictures with three different standing presidents. His paperwork and certificates from being the head U.S. Marshal in the western district of Oklahoma. How exactly do you put a price on this stuff?! It’s stuff we use to remember special people in our lives. Yet means nothing to Scott, your president of marketing, or anybody else for that matter. So what exactly am I supposed to claim? Hurt feelings? Lack of empathy from uhaul? You have completely changed the dynamic of my family because your inability to do what you do for a living. Now I have to live with it. I will never use another uhaul product as long as I live!Scott B. | Overall Experience
I didn't rent the storage unit for the following reasons: old, dirty, dusty, mold/molded, water stain and a host of other issues. That storage unit should have been removed from the internet long ago because words can't describe the horrible condition of the unit - unable to upload photos. Another concern - why does it take 5 day to receive my refund back on my back card? Uhaul took my money and didn't provide the agreed upon service but I'm required to wait for return of my money. The lady at the call center was not clear on all of the rental details. I was not told that I had to go to the location to finalize the rental. I was not told that I had to use a certain lock. I was not told that my unit was upstairs. I am not able to navigate stairs very well. After a day of packing, I was very upset to learn that the only remaining unit of the size I rented was upstairs!! I had no choice at that point but to keep the unit.
