Strong and unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke in cab. I know not the location's fault but as Corp policy might prohibit smoking if not already. Or offer non-smoking trucks.

The drop off process was wonderful. The pick up process was a little bumpy. There should be a disclaimer to change location finder in an iPhone to whenever using safari. Also, there were so many questions to answer and back and forths. These should've been done before getting to the location. It seemed like in the email all you had to do was log into your account to pick the truck up, but it was much more than that.

When I received the truck it was dirty and there was plastic bottles and when I open the truck it was very dirty and gas was below the half I had to full it and I also was disrespected by the guy who check me out and he made me wait for more than 45min ...supposedly told me told that it was a $100 deposit but that was a lie he did not explain to me well ....I'm super disappointed .... hope they better their customers service

It was disappointing the location didn't have the 6 blankets I ordered days in advance. Luckily I brought a sheet with me or my furniture would have been ruined. If I had known in advance they didn't have the blankets, I would have brought more.

Very helpful, accommodating employee who checked me in and then, even after closing hours, assisted me in returning my 6hr rental into the proper location. Nice fellow. Well lit facility ... I totally appreciated this as I was very concerned about returning trailer in the dark hours after 7pm. I felt safe. And price for rental was reasonable.

Person checking me out did not have a mask and was eating at his desk. In addition, he did not know how to check me out and the lady beside me having the same issue with another representative that could not check her out and did not have his mask on. Really upsetting considering a family member of mine passed from COVID.

I'm very big on customer service. When entering for pick up and drop off I wasn't greeted. While checking out things wasn't explained to me in detail promoting me to call customer service. While dropping off, I had to fight for my truck to get checked in so it can be accounted for at its 5:30pm drop off time. There was more than one employee working with a line of waiting customers, no one chose to step up and take care of customers.

It took us over 30 minutes to pick up the U-Haul truck, even though we had already reserved the truck and entered information online. The woman behind the counter worked hard and was efficient, but there needed to be either more staff, or a way to do more of the process online. Other than the long wait to pick up the truck, the rest of the process went smoothly.

After all the troubles I had with my rental due to lack of communication, the prick of a manager at the 1702 mechanical blvd Garner, NC who needs to learn basic customer service skills and 3 calls to customer service and still have not had all of my issues resolved I will most likely look for a different equipment provider in the future. I had much higher expectations expectations for U-Haul

Please tell me how I turn in a vehicle on September 11th then just get a copy of my receipt two weeks later, owed a refund, still have not received it and was alerted from my cc company that you tried to charge me an extra 106.00 the day I turned it in. I'll wait.

Ensure that there is ample gas to get person from point A to B when possible to avoid having to stop for gas and trying to gauge how much gas it will take to complete the journey and return with the same amount of gas as when you picked it up. I always liked the pick it up full and return it full method. Easier to do with no calculation needed.

The one check in representative was really overworked with a lot of customers waiting in line. Perhaps a second person should be available to help on a busy day such as yesterday.

the manager on duty was rude to customers and myself when we showed up. He took his time and did not provide the proper customer care for the customers. When multiple people came up (including myself) with reservations, he said that these don't matter and the payment that several people made. The associate stated that was not his fault and needed to take payment all over again. I understand if he was short staffed that he was unable to serve all the customers at once, but with those who make reservations, he said we do not have a truck for you. Or those who made rented a truck from UHAUL, he said "you van is around the corner somewhere? Lastly, I showed up at 2:20 for my reservation at 2:30, I get that things might take time for this process (and that is why I showed up early). But to have to wait with 2 customers in front of me (one at the register) to get my truck at 3:18 is unacceptable. I know not all your stores and associates are not like this for I rented from you before, but I will not recommend this location or Uhaul period for a long time to anyone.

I dropped off at location at 4:57pm, on Sunday 9/13. Doors were locked with customers remaining inside. Gentleman came out and told me they were closed, but that he would check the trailer in. I assumed he knew what time I arrived, but I was charged ate fee. I went to the location on 9/15 and they credited my card without question. I appreciate the customer service on Tuesday, but it shouldn't have reached that point.

The person seemed annoyed I was there dropping off. She just asked me to unhook the trailer myself. When I told her I didn't think I could lift it on my own, she had me drive around to a back area, back the trailer into a tight spot and then do most of the work to unhook it. She was not friendly and not helpful. I was pretty frustrated.

Upon check in the handling equipment was not available even though it was reserved days in advance of pick up. The woman at the counter was not attentive, nor did she care to be. She didn't listen, nor would she get off her butt to assist. I returned the truck after hours the same day as the pick-up and told the attendant I would be doing so. Again, she didn't listen. I was double charged for everything. Then when I called to get the bill corrected the next day, I was placed on-hold. That was fine, I understand if she was with another customer at the time. However, then when she came back on she continued to have a conversation with someone else while I was trying to get the overcharge addressed. Frankly, she was useless and rude. When I complained she hung up on me! I called again the next day to speak with the Manager. Although she agreed to make the adjustments to the overcharges, the Manager was also rude. There is plenty of UHaul locations in Raleigh. I will never go back to this one and I would recommend Of others to stay away as well. This isn't worth the hassle!

Kamesha Campbell made my experience above average. If it weren’t for her, I probably would have rated the experience average. She went above and beyond to try and keep things running smoothly while she had five guests in the store and she was the only one working. She was able to help two guests at once and did it quite effectively despite one rude customer who was slowing things down.

After going to pickup reserved truck I was told to go to another location. I purchased both insurances and had to pay out of pocket for a tow that was in total 10 feet (extra $400)! and fee to clean!
