I received a phone call two days prior to my rental to let me know that there may not be the total amount of pads and dolly I reserved. When I arrived most of the pads were there and the dolly and cart were available too. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. This U-Haul location is run extremely well!

Ovidiu B.The 6'x12' enclosed trailer was clean, but the brakes on the trailer did not work, or if they were working, it was so minimal it was not noticeable. I have a lot of experience towing trailers, and whether the brakes are working or not is very noticeable as you add weight to the trailer.

I was going in circles all over North Raleigh. Once I realized what was happening, I typed the address into my GPS and was 12 minutes away from the location. You need to fix the hyperlink.

Patrick N.My only issue came when i went to return the equipment after hours. The app, website, and mobile website were all not working. The only way to get through it was to answer the question as "yes" that the equipment was not clean for another family incurring a $15 charge. I tried for 45 minutes while waiting on hold with customer service and no one ever answered.
WILLIAM K.U haul needs to eliminate the manual "validate renter" portion of the rental process. With today's technology, facial recognition and OCR to pull a driver's license number, it is utterly ridiculous that as a renter, I have to literally stand in the parking lot staring at my phone waiting for some busy UHaul employee in the cloud to verify who I am. No online business I've ever worked with does this.

This is the second time I've rented a U-Haul van and the mobile app cost me thirty minutes of rental window because it claims that the network keeps becoming unavailable. In addition to that, the app just quit on me this time and told me to go inside where I had to wait in line to finish my rental. That defeats the purpose of having online check-in and the cost I'm paying isn't worth my time for the access of a rental vehicle if I'm losing half an hour from a two hour rental.

The return team was efficient and pleasant as well. My only issue is the complete lack of dollies. This location did not have any dollies. Moving appliances without dollies is a challenge.
Merl S.Please see the videos I emailed to you about this. This van was absolutely filthy! Dog hair all over the seats. The driver seat was so filthy, you can see dirt flying off of it in the video. Just disgusting. We were told they had no vacuums at the location and that vehicles were never cleaned. Unacceptable

Had issues cancelling my storage because they would never get back to me, even when reaching out during business hours. Mistakes were also made while writing the contract. We were directed to the wrong storage, which luckily didn't cause major issues, considering nobody would have known it was our stuff. Horribly, horribly managed.

Front counter should make sure customers know the basics and not just assume everyone has done this before and often.

sherry r. | First ImpressionsAccess to facility, where it was, how to use, was not clearly explained to me at all. I had never used a U-haul storage facility, not at Millbrook or any other. The young man, who was friendly enough, originally told me, the lock and such should be inside my unit, when I had not even been assigned a unit yet. After he took all my info again, which most I had given online, he said he had “checked me in” and gave me my paperwork and told me I could go in through “either door”. I had no idea where “either door was, where the facility was, and he was too busy to explain further. After finally finding my way, I go in and alarms sound when trying to access my unit. I go back to a very long line trying to “get to” this only person in the shop, which is about to close in an hour. I had already wasted an hour just trying to get to my storage unit!! So I just say to him, “alarm goes off every time I try to get into my unit”, and he explains that “I have to check in” before going in to either door, which he had told me earlier that he had checked me in. It was confusing. When I went back another customer had experienced the same confusion, having to go back and clarify. Uhaul clearly needs more help at this facility during their office hours to help their customers navigate, especially their first-time customers, and to help the long lines!!

Very frustrating so I left and took care of it online. She was pleasant but very distracted with everything else going on and not handling the person in front of her. Other people walked out, too. She tried but just didn’t help much.
