The windows on the truck were really dirty. All other experiences are good.

OBADIAH S16 ft U-Haul comes with blankets and a dolly. Hopefully that's in the contract, but it would be nice if the staff would share that information rather than collect money for the same, from a senior citizen who only has a few things to move. The definite gotcha moment.

AARON RThe truck was terrible. When braking the truck pulled to the right. Also the truck had no ramp and no visor on the driver side. The truck was a total heap.

PATRICK RI put more fuel in the vehicle than I used and was charged $19 for fuel anyway. Because of inaccurate readings and trucks less than full of fuel. Total BS I’ve rented multiple times from this location and their fuel gauge readings are always off. Go fuel your trucks to Full and stop ripping off your customers

JASON MWhen checking prices online it stated 19.95 for the truck and .69/mile. But once in store to pick up I was charged.89/mile which changed the amount budgeted. While I'm sure most people wouldn't mind. That price difference makes or breaks if I can afford to utilize this service. When asked he said " oh it resets at the beginning of the week, it's cheaper on weekends" I find that to be false advertisement. No where did it state that would happen.

GEORGE DI did not know that we were being charged $1 a mile along with a flat fee for this rental. It ended up costing us $700!!!!! That is ridiculous to charge someone that and put it into the fine print. We rented a 10 ft and had to make multiple trips. We would rented a bigger one at that cost. Also the seats were very uncomfortable. They were to cost to the steering wheel. My husband is 6 and his knees were almost touching the dashboard. I guess our lesson read the fine print.

George MI am very disappointed in this Milton FL U-Haul dealer. I was overcharged as per the signed contract.I contacted the manager and was told she would call me back by Monday it’s Wednesday and on call back to resolve this matter. RICHARD JUsing U-Haul was very stressful and very expensive. I originally reserved a truck in Ms. , or thought I had . The day before I was to pick it up , I received a call saying the closest truck was in Louisiana. I wanted to rent a truck in Mississippi to drive and return in Milton, Fl. . There was NO truck in Purvis or Hattiesburg . I had to make this move so I borrowed money to help rent a truck here and drive there , load , and drive back . I’m 69 years old and was not able to get it loaded , driven, unpacked on time . I the called to add a day and they said they could not extend the rental because another family was to get it an hour and a half before my original return time . So I was able to speak to a scheduling specialist who amazingly could add the extra day . My question is why does U-haul make suedo reservations when they don’t even know if a truck will be available . Why doesn’t a scheduling specialist make all the reservations all the time . This was a very stressful experience !!! However, I will also say that every one that I spoke to was very polite, very helpful to the extent of what they could do . They people are great but I believe the system is flawed. One more thing, I am elderly on fixed income it cost 600.$ plus 140$ in gas . I did return with a quarter of a tank more than when I got it . 😢

Patti M | Overall ExperienceAs a widow with no connections locally, finding out I needed a second contact before being able rent a unit (as I was getting ready to pay) was upsetting and I had to end up giving my realtor’s number. Also finding out that insurance was required after the reservation was made and again as I was getting ready to pay, was also upsetting. These two items should have been made clear by U-Haul at time of reservation being made. Other than that all was fine. Unit is clean, easy to access and convenient.

Marrie F | Overall ExperienceRead the instructions email before you go the first time. Once inside the facility, you must enter your code into the Device in the garage before opening your unit. Oops! I set off an alarm. The door was sealed with a plastic tray that easily pulled off. The available cats made transporting my items easily into the storage facility. It does seem odd that anyone can access the building even without a code, the entry doors open freely. You do have to enter your code to disable the alarm on your unit which provides a layer of confidence in the protection of my items. However, once I set off the alarm and closed the door it was quite some time before any staff came around. Although the onboarding process would have been completely hassle free had I read the instructions more clearly. I would recommend this location for local climate controlled storage needs.

Janet M | First ImpressionsMy first experience with renting a UHaul was when I rented a van for my business. It was an excellent experience and I will continue using UHaul for the long haul. I thought it was a cool promotion that you guys offered one free month of storage for renting the van so I took advantage of it. I stored just a couple of boxes of photos that I was hoping to go through over the Christmas break. I decided that I would probably just pay for one month after the promo to get things tidy and organized. It was my understanding that my card would automatically be charged when the free month was up. Unfortunately, it was not charged and I started receiving calls, emails, and mail saying I was charged a late fee for non payment. It was very annoying and so I called. I spoke to a young man who said he made it all good and I thought all was good until I started receiving more messages, emails, etc. So I went in person and spoke with Jordan who is an excellent manager. She explained the problem and said she fixed it and gave me a receipt. Unfortunately, I continued to get messages saying I hadn't paid, etc. So I finally just pulled my items out and "moved out." It is very annoying and frustrating to receive these messages. In the future, I doubt I will use storage facility as it is just a head ache. Everything about the storage and the management was excellent. It's just dealing with your automated messages.

Besides the locksmith being banned, we believe if the rented UHaul unit number was written on the keycard this could have been avoided.
