Although the trailer was received in less than clean condition on the inside. Service Team member Angel Consuelo was very efficient, positive, and friendly who provided exceptional service. Returned the trailer with clean floors. No extra charges were applied to my contract as it was communicated to the service team it was received that way. I had to call roadside assistance twice which ended up having the truck towed away. The vehicle's transmission fluid was very low according to the mechanic which prevented the gear to engage. Good thing we were not on the road and resulted to an accident.Othello D.

The Uhaul rep connected the trailer to my pick up truck. He went to check the lights, and the tail lights would not work. The rep told me I would havw to go buy. A 4 pin flat adapter because the 5 pin flat adapter is causing the the tail lights not to work. I told the guy that I have always used the 5 pin flat adaptor, and the 5th pin is for back up lights. I walked into the office and asked them if they had a 4 pin flat adapter to use, because I was not buying a 4 pin flat, when I have always used the 5 pin flat. The lady in the office said no they didn't have a 4 pin flat to use and that none of their equipment uses the 5 pin flat. Another gentleman came out with a tester. He told me there was no power to my adapter, and I needed to go get my lights fixed. I checked my fuses and the trailer tail light fuse was blown. Put another fuse in and it blew as soon as I pit it in. I asked the guy to disconnect the trailer harness. I installed another fuse and it did not blow. They hooked the tester up and it had power. He hooked the trailer harness back up and the fuse blew. He told me I have a short in my wiring. I told him, I just towed a trailer the day before and nothing was wrong with my wiring. I told him, I have had this issue before ans it ended up being the trailer wiring. He advised me that it was my truck and not the trailer. After some discussion, we hooked up another trailer and the lights worked and the fuse never blew. There was no apology from the reps for trying to blame the problem on my vehicle. When I dropped the trailer off, they had trouble getting it off the ball. The lady asked if I had any damage to the ball. I advised her I did not have damage, she said that is the only reason way it would be hard to get the trailer off. They finally got the trailer off, checked the ball and there was no damage. This location is trained to blame all problems on the customers. I did not appreciate being blamed for all the issues they had, when it was their equipment. The employees should be better trained on how to use their equipment they have to assist them for trailer removal. They tried to use the mule, but did not not how to use it, so they resorted to blaming me for the issue. The survey would not let me submit with rating roadside assistance. I is helpful to know in advance that the trunk needs to be completely empty prior to installation due to electrical wiring needs. It is also helpful to know that the battery will be disconnected during installation, so some vehicle systems may have to be reset afterwards.Randy A.

The only complaint is your Accounting Software —— It needs replacing & updating; PLUS each new & old Staff Member should be trained on your current Computer Software that you have so they know how to correctly use it when handling customer transactions. Y’all tried to have my drop off location 60 miles from where I was going. Got it changed to a better spot and requested storage. They didn’t reserve me storage and the location didn’t have storage for me. Got it changed to a spot further away with only 30 minutes before close. The storage unit I reserved was not available on my arrival. This is absolutely unacceptable. What is someone to do if, as in my case, they drive 2500 miles and then do not have the unit they reserved? Dump their belongings on the street? Luckily I was able to make other arrangements... I greatly appreciate the effort and offer Francis made to allow me to stay a little longer before moveout. My life since April 2020 has been the most financially, physically, and mentally challenging in my 60 year life thus far. I gave away a lot of good furniture in the facility's community area, as well as a few items to a U-Haul employee. You hold out, hoping things turn around in your life, and nothing happens. Thank You, U-Haul corporate and the Miramar U-Haul facility for the storage unit move out offer. I've rented about 40 U-Haul trailers in the past 4 years or so. I'm sorry you incurred a financial loss in my storage unit rent on my behalf. I'm looking forward to seeing brighter days ahead in my life. I am a long term U-Haul customer. Thanks Again. My storage unit was broken into and when I told the employees they didn’t have any cares they just told me a manager would and the manager never called I went to him about a week and half later and he tells me I am waiting o. IT and the about 2 weeks later he tells me I need a subpoena to see the tapes your storage facility is bulkshit you guys don’t care and you should take the sign off that says we record to help if this situation happens and that is a lie I was told I need a subpoena and there are no cameras here my unit was I just bought over 1500 dollars of brand new decorations and plus the ones I had I there all gone and I was treated very crappy but the employees and no one helped me so now I am going g to seek a lawyer or I am going to the news because I think the employees are on drugs or something worse situation ever I paid my storage on time never late and I get treated like this hate to see how you treat people who don’t payJennifer L. | Overall Experience

The Manager and the male behind the counter that assisted me were communicative prior to my arrival, when I arrived and during the time I was there. They were very attentive to my need, let me choose my space from a map he has highlighted prior to my arrival, I let him know what I needed and he pointed my to the best one available that met my needs. I had been stressing out about the move because I sold my house and promised to be out for the buyers by 8/31 but my escrow still have closed on my new home so I had been staying up until 2-3am the few days before the actual move day and was running behind schedule. They were very accommodating and changed the MI date from 8/31 to 9/1 and gave me a few hours grace period on the truck return. They put me at ease had that had a really positive impact on my move into storage. Sal the check in attendant was excellent as well.
