Was told a different drop off location. Had to drive nearly 20 miles out of my way. Drop off location less then 2 miles from my destination and had to go to 2 different locations before dropping trailer and no return paperwork given to me.

ANGEL BI have had issues the last 2 times I have rented from uhauls online services. The first time I used the pickup and go, upon locating my truck the top was ripped off from someone hitting a bridge how this was rented out is beyond me. Most recently I pickup and go with a appliance dolly rental. There was no appliance dolly in the truck and had to go inside where they did not have one either bir did any of the other stores in the area.

DENNIS CHorrible. I gave them all of my information and my credit card. They promised me I could pick up a van at 10 PM on a Sunday night. I got an email confirmation about my reservation five days ahead of time. I verbally double checked with them again about the reservation three days ahead of time. I was promised “it’s easy, it’s simple, just follow a couple of steps“. I flew in from Oregon Sunday night, I got to the rental office at 10 PM, went through the steps many, many times and was rejected each time. I called the mobile/emergency department phone number and was put in touch with Mia (she was great.) I was told that the GM said the reservation was “unusual“ and stopped the rental. She suggested that I come back the next day. I spent the next 45 minutes on the phone with Mia, begging her to abide by the contract, talk to the GM, and release the van to me. Insanely ridiculous thing to have to do at 10 PM on a Sunday night in the middle of nowhere. When I returned the van I told the GM that what she did was “horrible“. She told me that “the van was supposed to go out to auction.“ What?! And, she “didn’t appreciate being woken up at 10 PM on Sunday night“.Unbelievable. Someone seriously needs to take a course in honesty and ethics. Maybe learn to make a phone call if you have a question regarding a rental? The rental was for 12 days and to be driven about 200 miles. I drive it to my farm in Hillsdale, Illinois and sleep in it. I did the exact same thing last year but I rented from the U-Haul location on 46th Ave. in Rock Island. Had no problem with that location. Absolutely horrible experience.

shawn W | Online Move InOnly one staff member appeared to know what they were doing… Two times we were promised and even received a confirmation on the last reservation and when we went to get it and pay for it, we were told it was not available… we currently have a unit there, but realized we needed a bigger unit and when we reserved it online it was not available when we got there… The general manager Caleb had a “sucks to be you attitude”… he is a horrible manager… He could’ve even acted like he cared, but he didn’t… If it wasn’t for the location and being in a controlled environment storage facility I would definitely go somewhere else… the one young man that did get us settled into the unit that we currently have was amazing… He answered each and every question we had… Very, very pleasant to work with… Caleb, the general manager needs to be demoted, and the young man that waited on us needs the general manager position… I do have a call in and I’m waiting and was told that it would be three business days before I get a call back to voice this concern… There was no compensation or even mention of it to try to take care of this situation

DARIUS H | First ImpressionsI didn't have a disc block but I read that it was at the discretion of the U-Haul person to let me use my own lock as long as it fit the locker and I didn't have one of those discs locks but I did have a combination lock and they did let me use it but then I went back to retrieve my items and there was a red lock on my locker and they had locked me out of it and I wish they would have not done that since the okayed my lock in the first place. I was told that the person that had helped me before was not experienced.
