I was told at this location my total bill would go from about $200 to $140 if I changed my drop off location and the money would be refunded onto my card within 3-5 business days. That didn't happen. Instead, $100 extra got charged to my card. When I called this location to try to get this figured out they basically said â€œoopsy nothing we can do but we can file a complaint.â€Sarah B.

You're automatic phone answering system just plain stinks. I phoned a few times to your hub which is selected by my internet connection, and each time I received a recording then my waiting time was 1 hour. If you had a computer programmer ("System Analyst") not an IT person designing this for you, you would have many many more customers. Where I work for 42 years, we did everything possible to answer the phones. If you don't answer the phone you're insulting the potential and present customers. This was the absolute worse experience with uhaul tht I've ever had. I made reservations on 07/23 for move date of 08/01. Along with the 26' uhaul I also reserved an appliance dolly. I had to drive 44 miles out of my way to pick up the truck, not sure why it wouldn't be made to be available in the town I was in and asked for? This wasn't a last minute notice, then I'm charged for those extra miles gas wise. Not acceptable. The $27.50 charged for gas is the amount used to have to go out of my way. Also I had to pay $130 for an appliance dolly because conviently there were none available. Again reservation stated this was needed. Don't offer services you can't make good on. I will be calling cooperate office to have this matter discussed.Heather R.

Our reservation was cancelled without a call, they called regarding this an hour late and the employees phone is â€œset to the wrong time zoneâ€ we didn't get the truck for as long as we originally booked and when we did get one we were told we had 24 hrs then received a text saying it was ALREADY past due (prior to when we even left the shop) literally everything the UHAUL employees did they did wrong. The man who checked us in was also extremely condescending even tho his phone was set wrong and he called us late. Will NOT be going through this service again, 0/10.Emily T.

The storage unit I had reserved 10x15x10 was not available. I was asked to take the 10x10x10. I wanted to get the bigger unit as it was for 2 people and we have a lot of furniture and belongings. I am not sure if all our belongings will fit in the now smaller unit.Shraddha S. | First Impressions

The only thing I would recommend is letting more people know that you have motorcycle trailers. It was kind of hard to find on the website unless you went deeper into the rental process. I had rented one trailer and then canceled it because I found out that you had a motorcycle trailer.Joseph C.

The only reason I didn't rate the experience at an excellent is because they forgot to give us our moving blankets we ordered and we had to go back and get them. Easy mistake and we should of caught it ourselves but otherwise they were awesome. Especially since they saved us because we had reserved our trailer on line at a another location, in St Leon Indiana, which was horrible. We had to wait about 15 minutes to be helped because the gentleman was helping another couple with their trailer, but that couple ended up walking out without the trailer because the sales gentleman couldn't figure out how to get the information off the computer, then didn't have the adapter for the lights, which the couple was told that they did have that adapter available. So when the sales person got to us, we gave him our confirmation information. He said he didn't know if he could reach that trailer or be able to get it out. Then he said he didn't even know if that trailer was working. So we all walked out to where the trailer was stored, which was behind a tow truck, it would of been hard to get out if they didn't move the tow truck. Of course the worker didn't know if he had the keys to move the tow truck. Then we looked at the trailer and the worker said sorry you can't use that trailer, it is missing a chain. The only downside was that I was told there was gas in the vehicle (like there usually is) and it needs to be brought back with the same amount. I have driven uhal several times and know the gas gage tends to be a bit wonky. So I drove about a block and a half and the gas guard was buried on E… so they got it returned with alot more fuel then I left the lot with. We also used the self storage facility. Was east and super clean. Although an alarm (really high pitched) goes off literally every time you walk through..Summer B. | First Impressions

I was nervous about driving such a large truck and in response Sarah took the time to walk me around the truck to inspect, showed me the instruments and controls in the cab, and even helped adjust the mirrors. The only issue was the unit we were originally assigned was not available. We found one real close to the back door but that was out of the range we could be transferred to. I did look inside the trailer before leaving and thought I saw a little dirt inside. It was not enough to complain about. When I arrived at my destination to pick up a new couch that small amount of dirt inside the trailer was actually a film of grease and oil. Someone had hauled barrels of something, And it had not been cleaned. I had to slide the new couch through that goop to complete the pickup. The feet of the couch had to be cleaned before placing it in my home. Very dissappointed.Larry R.
