It appears that Uhaul has "Double Dipped" when charging me for my rental!! When I looked at my account a few minutes ago, either this location individually or Uhaul as a company has double charged me for a one day rental!! In the 1st place, the original location that I had booked for Saturday morning (1 mile from my house) didn't have the initiative to start the truck the night before and melt the ice off, when they knew that I had people hired to come help Saturday morning and needed the truck by 8:30-9:00 am ( not even Early) Instead, last minute, I had to change my reservation to another location (20 miles round trip from my house). So since we had to make 2 trips, I got to drive right by the truck we were SUPPOSED to use 4 TIMES at $.99 cents a mile (approximately $40.00 extra dollars because the first location apparently didn't feel any obligation to simply start the truck and run the defroster a while!!) (as it sat idly by, all day Saturday, still not defrosted)! NO ONE SO MUCH AS APPOLOGIZED!! Due to this, not only did this cost US extra mileage/cost, the extra mileage cost time picking up AND dropping off!! In the day that we had the truck, we fought more snow than we ever get here, then ice as the day got longer (due to all these issues) then the little melting that occurred re froze into treacherous ice (we had to pay extra for the top cost insurance simply because the normally very adequate insurance didn't state that it covered "In Case The Truck Gets Stuck In Ice Or Snow"! Again because of the domino effect put in motion by the lack of action by the first location/reservation we strategically placed one mile from our home to mminimize the risk to myself AND Uhaul's equipment, and cost of EVEN A SINGLE MILE of extra travel on these roads, LET ALONE 40 EXTRA!!! We only had the people to help hired for 1 day (which is all it should have taken) because the very next day (Sunday) was going to be torrential downpours and flooding on top of the prior single day of the full spectrum of horrible weather!! Again due to all the pitfalls and unnecessary extra time/miles set in place by the 1st truck not being ready, we were only able to partially unload the 2nd load before the guys helping's time ran out. So my wife and I were forced to finish unloading BY OURSELVES in the pouring rain a job that absolutely should have been finished and truck returned, had it not been for Uhaul dragging their feet in the first place and therefore setting up a tailspin that we couldn't make up enough time or miles (due to a SERIES of Acts Of God, in this case weather) to cover Uhaul's Butts!!...And with all the hurdles I've just described, we were only 1 1/2 hour over on time (and our local Uhaul DEFINATELY knew the conditions we were working with!!!) Uhaul either local or corporate...After all we've been subjected to since Saturday morning at the hand of Uhaul,...APPARENTLY WITHOUT SO MUCH AS A "WE'RE SORRY, OUR FAULT" OR "WOW, YOU FOLKS REALLY DID A FANTASTIC JOB GETTING OUR TRUCK BACK WITH ALL THE CRAP WE PUT YOU THROUGH"!!!...OH, H**L NO!!! THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO THROW A WHOLE BAG OF SALT IN AN ALREADY GAPING WOUND BY CHARGING A WHOLE EXTRA DAY!!!! Remember the old saying folks at Uhaul...Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me!!Greg F.

Dropping off my equipment was a smooth and easy process. HOWEVER! Even though the trailer comes with a FREE month of storage, I opted to PAY to store my stuff somewhere else, because my experience at this particular U-Haul was so poor. The card I was given to access my FIFTH FLOOR storage unit did NOT work and it set off the alarm for the entire building! I could not get anyone to help me so I could not move my stuff in. I left the premesis with the alarm ringing. And that's not to mention the person who checked me in was not at all helpful, and required a manager to help them through the entire process. Again, I will be storing my things somewhere else, even though I have to pay. At that location I have a ground-level storage unit easily accessible from the outdoors, and quality custoner service.Michael C.
Absolutely the worst customer experience I have ever had. The person who was hired to work the counter should be fired. The security card I was given did not work, it set off the alarm for the entire building. I sat there for 10 minutes with the building alarm screaming aloud and could not get ahold of anyone to help me. I left with my stuff and never even got to move in.Michael C. | First Impressions

Was very helpful to be able to use the carts to transport my things to my unit. It made it to were I was able to take all of my load in one load! I am very pleased with the climate controlled unit I got for my belongings. I like that I don't have to constantly worry if someone is going to be able to break in and take my things. The counter person who finalized the contract didn't explain what should have been explained (having rented previously). Their payment screen issues caused her to state I should ignore it but the total cost was wrong and she got snarky when I inquired about the total cost. She pulled the truck around and then disappeared. I had to track someone down to ensure the truck was mine and ask about the walkthrough which they explained was via text link and not in person. Her lack on interest in her job only made the experience worse. The driver side door would not stay closed unless you forcefully pulled it shut and locked it. The brakes were terrible under load and the roof leaked in the loft space. The cab was filthy including cigarette butts in the ash tray. That was the worst truck I have rented to date.Joshua M.

Tow Dolly seemed to have issues. One wheel bed had damage on the plastic protective covering. That same side kept unlocking the wheel straps. We ended up having issues while driving cross countryDAMON H.
The problem I had was the car dolly on the wheels it has a cover over it which was broken up on both and zip ties holding it together well thanks to that it broke the rest of way and hit my car it was marked that it's messed up my son use to work at U-Haul for 6 years and he knows this stuff I'm not satisfiedMARI T.

Your Manager directly caused me to spend years as a u-haul customer. Your company should recognize quality professionalism in Ms. Clarke. Your telephone contact system is difficult to navigate and spending hours waiting was exhausting. I, personally, have utilized your company in three states in many different avenues. I reserved an appliance dolly by phone for the Memorial Location but they did not have any and they were explaining this to one customer after another. I would recommend some system improvement that allows the call center to have visibility to which locations physically have a dolly. Still, as usual the folks at the Memorial Blvd (Murfreesboro) went above and beyond and reserved the dolly at the Super Center location. The pickup and drop off at the Super Center was fast and easy. I have always had a good experience with U-Haul! ThanksElbert I.

uBox logistics has to be ranked among the worst of any company in the moving business. It took nearly 7 hours on the phone to get the delivery address correct and schedule moving help. To achieve this required talking to 10 people (which meant sitting on hold 10 times for lengthy periods) going in circles from department to department each giving conflicting information and/or claiming they were not allowed to make changes. Fortunately I found a knowledgeable person at moving help who helped to correct the errors and schedule delivery.Steve M.

Check tires. This trailer had tires date coded 2014. One shredded itself in traffic in Memphis. 3 hours plus to get back on the road. Tires are recommended replaced every 5 years and Discount tire won't touch one (even for air) for liability reasons after 5 years age.RONNIE C.

The only negative but also a huge one is there is not enough elevators at this facility. We had to wait in line several times just to get to our storage unit. Very inconvenient if you are carrying heavy items. We had to try to go to the facility during off times so it wasn’t as busy. The layout was not planned correctly. The original employee who signed me up made some mistakes. Spelled my name wrong, didn’t set up auto draft correctly, and had me down for the wrong storage number. Overall, the quality of my unit was great; however, I was unaware that my unit (#1000) would have humidity issues. Multiple bedding items (stores in containers) had to be thrown away due to mold. When I rented the unit I did not think mold would be an issue, but come to find it did.
