I reserved an appliance dolly by phone for the Memorial Location but they did not have any and they were explaining this to one customer after another. I would recommend some system improvement that allows the call center to have visibility to which locations physically have a dolly. Still, as usual the folks at the Memorial Blvd (Murfreesboro) went above and beyond and reserved the dolly at the Super Center location. The pickup and drop off at the Super Center was fast and easy. I have always had a good experience with U-Haul! ThanksElbert I.
Your computer check in is terrible. Charged me for 400 plus miles when I drove around 125. Then it wants me to take a picture of how clean it is in the darkGERALD A.

uBox logistics has to be ranked among the worst of any company in the moving business. It took nearly 7 hours on the phone to get the delivery address correct and schedule moving help. To achieve this required talking to 10 people (which meant sitting on hold 10 times for lengthy periods) going in circles from department to department each giving conflicting information and/or claiming they were not allowed to make changes. Fortunately I found a knowledgeable person at moving help who helped to correct the errors and schedule delivery.Steve M.

Check tires. This trailer had tires date coded 2014. One shredded itself in traffic in Memphis. 3 hours plus to get back on the road. Tires are recommended replaced every 5 years and Discount tire won't touch one (even for air) for liability reasons after 5 years age.RONNIE C.

So easy ! I needed a truck on a Sunday afternoon for a few hours . And within 10 minutes of arriving was on my way with a 15 footer ! The crew here were so courteous and efficient ! Drop off was even easy !MICHAEL R.
The only issue is the congestion at the storage area. Not much the employees can do about it. The building only has one elevator and really should have been designed with more. What should have been 10 minutes putting things in storage was 45 minutes because we had to wait on a cart and were behind 3-5 other carts waiting on the elevator every time. 3 trips to the storage unit was 45 minutes. This needs to be considered in future storage unit designs.Shawn M.

The only negative but also a huge one is there is not enough elevators at this facility. We had to wait in line several times just to get to our storage unit. Very inconvenient if you are carrying heavy items. We had to try to go to the facility during off times so it wasn’t as busy. The layout was not planned correctly. The original employee who signed me up made some mistakes. Spelled my name wrong, didn’t set up auto draft correctly, and had me down for the wrong storage number. The employees who corrected it were nice and helpful but the initial employee was not a good experience.malory v. | Overall Experience

The condition of the truck we got was bad. It had over a 100k miles on it and the engine and transmission seemed to struggle. I'd be afraid to take it far. Cab smelled like an ash tray. Someone left 2 user razors in the back of the truck which bothered me. Obviously nobody checked it when previous people returned it. We also had a storage unit at this facility. If you go on a day with more that 1 or 2 trucks you will wait forever for the elevator. There is only 1 elevator which is a horrible design. For a building this size they should have a bunch. People at counter were so unorganized.William S.

The whole process of the U-boxes was the worst experience of my life. I ordered them online and was told they would be at a location close to me and then I received a call saying they were 30 miles from me. Then we had them shipped to the new location. I was able to get them to move to where I thought I was moving. When I ended up moving to a city further away I asked about having them shipped closer to me and was told I would hear from the manager. This never happened so I again had to tow them 30 miles to unload them. I returned them after I unloaded each one but they were never checked back in so I was charged for an extra month for them. I called to get my refund and was again told I would hear from the manager and never did. I called 3 days later and was told nothing had been done about it yet. I finally emailed another location and still never heard anything. Every time I called I had to wait to talk to someone and it always went to a call center instead of the location. It took over a week to finally get my refund for being charged for equipment I had already turned in. I will never use U-Haul again and I had been a very loyal customer.Chad J.

Incorrect fuel level given upon check in, fuel had to be added before use. Told 3/8 tank, less than 1/4 actual. Check in process is lazy, when I checked my truck back in, employees tried to over charge because the previous mileage was incorrect. This is the 2nd time this has happened, so... Savannah did a great job checking me out. With only 3 weeks on the job she was a pro.You need more experience staff. When I brought the vehicle back it took 15 minutes to check in the van I had driven 15 miles..There was much confusion and it seems no one was in charge or knew what to do. Overall, the quality of my unit was great; however, I was unaware that my unit (#1000) would have humidity issues. Multiple bedding items (stores in containers) had to be thrown away due to mold. When I rented the unit I did not think mold would be an issue, but come to find it did. Agent was very quick in getting the information he needed. The vehicle maintenance does need to be checked a little more thoroughly. The wiper blades needed to be replaced with adequate wipers that would actually clear the windows of rain water instead of smear. Also, I suggested that the vehicle alignment needed to be checked since it pulled the vehicle slightly to the center line all the time while driving. Otherwise, the vehicle was dependable, and I appreciated that it told me how many miles I had left when it was low.GERALD B.

The temperature was always within the designated range. The facility was always clean (including the bathrooms). My move was very stressful. We were randomly sent a text with an address with no explanation and when I arrived to the address on the contract we were told we can't take the truck here. I was given another address 4 miles further from my destination then when we checked in the attendant says you owe more because you went over by 4 miles on your mileage. He adjusted the bill to cover the overage but I'm still waiting for my furniture pads credit .Tim P.
