On Sunday the 12th of Sept. I ordered a pickup truck to take my dog to be put down for Monday at 9am. Because it was to be so hot in Las Vegas I changed my order to a 9' cargo van instead. Monday morning I called the vet and was told I could not bring him in till 1:00 pm on Tuesday the 14th. Called U-Haul to changed the date and and time to 11:am everything was a go. When I arrived at U-Haul they pulled up my order# and wound up with a small cargo truck. There was a van sitting in front, was told it was already spoken for. Sorry, I was just little upset. to take my dog, 15yrs old to be put down riding in a damn truck. You people really need to abide by your customers wishes. Thank you, JamesJames Q.

There has been a complaint filed. I went across the US in triple-digit temperatures with no ac. Roadside assistance took half a day to tell me the compressor is out and I could have it serviced after the holiday if I wanted to stay in a hotel.Mina Z.

They charged me for using a dolly that was already lose in the uhual rental I did tell them it was lose they said to not worry about it that I won't be change for it, truck was dirty , gas was not where they said it was going to be again I told them gas was low and they said to just mark it on my paper and take a picture of it and day back of the return they charged me more for gas when I returned it with same amount I took it with. I told them they told me to take the dolly like that and with gas being at the level that i would be fine and they where so rude and have no respect for customer service.Crystal A.

I'm sure on paper this Uhaul facility ranks excellent. But my experience wasn't pleasant, I felt like I was automatically charged a 100 miles, I didn't drive that far. Also my charge for not filling the gas tank to half was 38 dollars, really. Never again will I do business at this location. Never ever.Anton B.

Self check-in was pointless, I had to go in anyway. There were several staff members and it took them a while to even find the car keys. The windshield wipers didn't work, nor did the passenger seat seatbelt- we had to stop in Arizona to get the seatbelt fixed. The check engine light came on 300ish miles into our drive, and even with Roadside Assistance, they would not let me trade my truck for one in good condition. A mechanic came out and told me I had to purchase fuel injector cleaning solution with my own money and submit the receipts for reimbursement because whoever used the truck last had used the wrong kind of gas. Horrible start to a 3000+ mile trip.Karen C.

I've been renting with Brian and his crew for decades now. Every time I walk into his facility I am always greeted with respect no matter who is behind the counter. Traine the employees to type the last name no name and use second name as last name. I rent a truck for 4 hours and after pick up the truck they charge for time don't understand. They charge for rental then fee for many items . I love other location but this one you need to train the workers .or pay more to get on business not waist time and moneyHUMBERTO L.

Insatisfecho ya que el servicio del personal fue muy poco eficiente al momento del arribo al no querer mostrar alguna otra unidad argumentando no tener disponibles cuando en el website de u haul presentaba algunas otra, la unidad asignada no contaba ni siquiera con número de identificación de hecho no cuenta hasta hoy. Y por último en el contrato me asignaba un candado el cual al momento de preguntar por el me lo negaron argumentando k no tenían en esa tienda. Que lo tenía que comprar yo. Customer service was horrible I got a truck and a storage my pick up for the truck was 7am arrived at 815 am didn't leave til 12:30 pm the building had no air and I had my chit with me it was so hot.. then on my storage reservation it says the building is open from 5 am to 10 pm we arrived on a Sunday at 7 pm could not get in because the storage unit is only open during business hours.. so we had to get the truck an extra day, we had movers with us and my husband had to take off the following day to move us in the unit.. talked with Brian he was rudeâ€¦ very unprofessionalâ€¦ I will NEVER go to that location again I don't care if that's the only 1 in the worldieasha G.

The location was great and helpful, however the reservation was a nighmare. this was the soncd location i had to go to even thought i scheduled 3 weeks in advance. and now you are trying to overcharge me for miles i already paid for.Richard T.
First, you should still focus on me as a customer before moving on to the next schmuck. U-haul offered horrible customer service at both locations and everyone I spoke with in between. My box did not arrive on time and was not tracked correctly once it arrived in town. There was an additional 5 day delay in getting it because scheduling did not transmit the proper information to the movers hired via your sister company, movinghelp. Movers were sent to one location when the box was at another. I then had to straighten out the confusion and coordinate the delivery between the rental location and the movers to insure my box got to my home. This, of course, was a service I was paying U-haul to do. Had I not done their job for them, I'm sure I would still be waiting for my box. No one took responsibility or accountability for that and I was not compensated for that delay even after opening a customer action file. The manager at the N. Las Vegas location, Brian, was rude and condescending and the manager at the Madison location, Marvin, was clueless. Neither had any interest in addressing my concerns or the fact that the company had failed at numerous levels. While I appreciate U-haul giving those with intellectual disabilities opportunities in your company, they still need to be able to perform their duties. This whole experience was a complete disaster from beginning to end. I have no plans to do business with U-haul in the future and will advocate against the company and advise others to avoid you at all costs.Brian W.
I have occasionally rented these equipment to tow cars and they have always been very reliable except for this occasion where they gave me a totally old unit with poor repairs to such a degree that one of the lights came off. This could have caused damage to the vehicle I was towing and to the electrical system of my truckRafael A.

Three stores I had to travel to in order to obtain a truck, the second store on Nellis and Stewart, was trying to posture in front of his female employees, instead of him being subjective and performing his duties as a manager and representative for UHAUL, I ENDED UP CURSING HIM OUT and leaving the store. There was only one person working the counter who also had to answer phones. Even with completing the online check-in process beforehand, it still took 30 minutes to get the truck. Not the customer service person's fault, just poor a staffing model (especially for a Saturday). I will avoid this location and recommend others do the same.Jazmyn D.
Hey I noticed you guys charged me $66.51, when my total was $35.81. Was that just the holding fee? And when will that go away off of my bank statement. That was calculating that I was going to go 50 miles, but I ended up only going 15 miles there was no damage and the gas was where I picked it up at it.
