When I came to the office on 9/24/25 to reserve the truck, I asked a few questions that was answered properly. I informed the clerk that I will be using the truck to go to the Bronx, he never once told me I couldn't drive on the Parkway, nor did he suggest I download a truck route. I was not notified about the parkway until the day I picked up the truck. I was then worried about how I would get to my destination. The young man that rides the bike in the parking lot was very helpful and knowledgeable with all my questions and concerns. I wasted so much time trying to download the truck app on my phone to figure out another route to take and he also assist me with adjusting the mirrors. Time was taken from my hours to return the truck, had I known what I needed to know on Wednesday's visit to the store. I wouldn't have had any problems. the clerks/supervisors need to improve with their skills on answering and providing information don't assume everyone knows. Thank you

Easy to reserve. Easy to check in and pick up the vehicle. Easy to return.
Only problem - the fuel tank said full when I picked up the truck. I drove 33 miles. The dial indicated one "needle width" of fuel had been used.

Hi, the location and the staff were good.
The truck itself had some faults, number one the peace on top of the driver seat that's meant to block the sun was broken and kept falling down which was kind of dangerous.
Number two, One of the headlights weren't working.

The facility is great and convenient. The issues are some of the reps that are in front. At times their busy on their personal phones and takes them a while to acknowledge the customer. Also at times, they seemed annoyed when you go to speak to them. This doesn't apply to everyone only some of the workers. Aside from that, I don't have any major or any other issues there.

When I went to check in, I was told I did not have a reservation. Then, was told that size was not available. Then was told I could have 2 units to make the same size. I was given a code that did not work, same with the card. He went to the front office toI fix it, I went back to the office, he was helping someone else, but gave me code 979927. The instructions were to enter the code twice in 2 different key padsto open automatic doors, which did not work.But I was able to enter from another door. I was told to check it out on my own since he was helping the other person and to go to the 2nd floor. I had no map, there are no signs, so I was walking and not finding it. He then finally came to tell me he told me the wrong floor. We finally went to the correct location. I let him know we would come back to drop off items, and I was told my card should work by then. It did not. But I used the code again 979927 . I then walked by a unit of the size that I originally wanted to rent, it said "ready for customer", so not sure why the system had the wrong info. But then later in the evening when I saw an email to tell me to set up payment, not only did I not see my rental I opened but the truck rental was gone. Today, I see the truck rental upcoming, a unit that I rented showing a different code, and an upcoming reservation with code he gave me to enter 979927. Can someone please help me fix my account? Not a great start :(

I was not pleased with the customer service from Nanuet U-Haul facility staff. Stephanie was okay to work with, whoever the other African American lady is she has working alongside her is unprofessional and rude. She doesn't know how to provide respectful and courteous customer service. She doesn't know how to speak to people. No customer service etiquette, she acts like she can't be bothered to help people. There should be someone on shift that can inspect the storage bins once they are emptied because I had to wait till the next day to get my unit inspected. When bills are late you get multiple calls a day which is a little predatory, and the elevator is barely ever working, and it takes a long time to repair when it is not working. There is usually garbage downstairs in the main entrance. On the day I was clearing out my unit another customer fell in her unit and called for help and none of the staff on duty went up there to help her. My son and I had to physically help her up from the unit floor. If people hate their job at U-Haul they should quit, and if they are going to work there, they should get customer service training because their customer service skills suck. When I had an issue with the staff in the main office, I was forwarded to a customer service rep over the phone and I'm pretty sure nothing came of my complaint. U-Haul needs to do better. U-Haul makes enough money monthly from each customer to be able to afford Customer Service trainings and seminars. Their attitude is unmotivating and im hopeful I won't need to use U-Haul storage facility again.

We did not have a great experience at first. Asked for a unit near the entrance. Ended up with the furthest unit possible. Our PIN number didn't work that day and is still not working today. The young lady who helped us get a different unit was more experienced and knowledgeable than the first young man who mumbled every word to the point we had to ask "what" every time he spoke. I know it's hard getting good employees.

When I first went Into get trick the two staff were very nice and accommodating. When I went to actually get keys and go into reserved storage they “didn’t know anything” weren’t aware said the lady who had arranged it wasn’t a worker from that location 😔 and they gave me a second floor storage when I had requested first floor as i have issues with walking
It was very frustrating and I won’t be doing storage with uhaul again. The truck rental was also very discouraging Not a pleasant experience at all

It was a long day as we waited for our load to arrive. The Staff directed us to the Mall; upon our return, made several inquiries as to our comfort. The Unit was switched to larger size without rancor and cooperation.
Finally, although closed, Angelo gave instructions for use of lock box and that our rented equipment could be (and was) left in
locked truck.

My experience at Uhaul has been dreadful, and unprofessional. The young lady I spoke with was not very helpful. After 40min of attempts to work this through, a young, tall and skinny black man ask how he can help. From there, everything worked out for the best. And I’m thankful that he helped.

Super clean facility! The carts were always available and elevator is huge. Sometimes parking is limited on a busy weekend but overall it's a great place to store your belongings.
