Upon return, the two gentleman, looked confused and dazed about their jobs and responsibilities as simple as the nature of the job was, looking at gas meter, damages, inspection etc. the line of return trucks extended out to the main road (41)!

Joseph K.Communication was difficult at best They switched stores for the pick up spot with out notifying me the day before so I sat a location for 30 minutes which there was no one at the store therefore until I called customer service I had no idea the location had changed it was 30 minutes away Instead of being able to pull up with my confirmation code and being able to leave with the trailer I reserved I had to wait in yet another line the overall experience was two and half hours of a waste of time Simple improvements would make the experience much more convenient The people were courteous when I was waited on whihc did improve the experience

If only I was told about it instead of the guy just changing it. It seemed purposely done. The paperwork was blank under “drop off location “. I didn't realize I was at the wrong location until I opened the app after I arrived, trying to complete the process.

SCOTT S.There was a very sweet lady working the desk by herself. She had to answer phones and deal with those of us who had to come inside. This meant everyone had to wait a considerable amount of time. I waiting about 45 minutes before I was helped, then when I reached the desk was informed I could not pick up the vehicle I reserved because I could not leave my vehicle at the location. There was no notice anywhere, and I was not told when I arrived. I then had to arrange for a friend to meet me and drop me off. I proceeded to wait another 45 minutes before being helped. When I received the truck, the visor was broken and was flailing around to either hit me or obstruct my view. The seat cover was also coming off of the driver's seat. That being said, everyone was helpful and pleasant, it just seems to be severely understaffed.
Chelsea W.Clerk wouldn't do a one way rental. We live in LaBelle FL 90 miles from Naples. Told me it was her vehicle and wanted it back. Then wouldn't let me park our jeep in her yard till we returned the truck. So my wife had to follow me back to LaBelle with the load of new furniture. We made 2 trips then back She had to follow me back the next day to return the truck. 180 miles. It won't happen for the remainder of our purchases.

Paul T.Our “agreement†was to have the truck returned at 8am on Wednesday, June 1st, however we returned the truck early around 3pm on Monday, May 30th. Surprised to receive the receipt of return Tuesday morning showing we returned the truck May 31st at 9:34am. I understand you are trying to avoid documentation showing we returned the truck 40 hours early, but that is fraud. If we were to return the truck 40 hours after the “agreement“ date, I am certain we would be charged for the time. Consequently, maybe you should charge people for the time they actually use the vehicle, and not lie to avoid the proper documentation — unethical business practices. Also, using the receipt to return the truck with the proper fuel, it appears your calculations are severely over estimating the number of gallons. Again, I am certain if I returned the vehicle under the original mark on the gauge, I would have a massive fuel cost — however, returning the vehicle with ~1/4 tank too much is just another win for Uhaul ...incorrect and sketchy calculations, whether malicious or “innocent,†are again bad business practices. Finally, we returned the vehicle WELL under the allotment of mileage. I would assume if I returned the vehicle being over by 100+ miles, I would have a massive mileage charge. Again, you should charge people for the miles they actually use, not some hypothetical number you possibly inflate? Uhaul practically has a monopoly on the market, thus it is not necessary for the business to have a built in business model designed around fraud and theft. Overall, we ask you to consider holding yourselves to a higher standard.

Have been there numerous times to buy boxes etc but the there is just not enough people to mange the need, Also, the air conditioning was out. It had been out for 3 days. Not acceptable for late May in Southwest Florida. Poorly run. Get rid of the owner. Never going back there.

James V.This is a very busy location, we had a 30 Minute wait in line. Not the Customer Service Rep's fault—it's because there was only ONE (1) Person working the counter. I've used this location multiple times, I like it because they have a huge selection of products. The parking is terrible, the building is old, and today the air conditioning was out! YET—I give it the best rating ALL BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE GUY WAS FREAKING AWESOME!! He was positive, upbeat, knew his stuff and made it a PLEASANT experience in the worst situation. PROOF, Customer Service can make or break a Business!!

To this day I have had to get U HAUL INVOLVED! This man the dealer is a crook pure and simple stay far away from this company.
Charles W.We ended up here, because the original location didn't have the keys for the truck. The place on Tamiami Trl was very helpful in getting what we needed so we could make our move. The equipment was ok for cleanliness. The truck had an engine light come on while we were driving. We also had to add oil. I know the truck is water resistant, but we were surprised to have as much water get into the cab. It got several boxes wet and a piece of furniture. Luckily, the furniture was well wrapped.

The biggest detractor from this site is that it is extremely difficult to bring anything in a truck or trailer as the entirety of the two months I used this storage I was barely able to park anywhere near the only doors into the building despite having three sets of doors that were always locked effectively doubling the time it took to load and unload storag items. Also it should be noted that the font parking of the storage is so packed with uhaul trucks that my family and I had to park halfway onto a busy road while unloading and this is incredibly unsafe as I saw ample storage space for the fleet trucks in the back.

Very unprofessional and the lady at the counter should have been fired for her inability to understand and take control of a situation where a customer comes in with a reservation and is upset about not having a place to unload the truck. She was indignant when I asked what was the point of making a reservation if they don’t reserve the units. This was not a good experience and I will never recommend nor use Uhaul again!!!

Once we arrived I found that the storage wasn’t large enough (I wasn’t told which sizes were available) and had to get two units. Had I known this, I would have chose a different drop off. Fortunately Joshua was super helpful and made it less stressful and provided the best customer service. We had just driven 2,200 miles so I appreciated his helpfulness and kindness.

Door to storage doesn’t stay open and therefore smushes as you walk through with items. Also, can’t open double door for oversized items. Concrete guards surrounding storage door entrance were very annoying and obtrusive. . Also, on many occasions, door to storage was locked and had to wait and find an unfriendly employee to open.
