The older gentleman that works there is very rude won't take the time to explain anything. My receipt stated he manually put in my card information and it stated $100 but when my text alerts came in it showed he had charged my card $115 I explained that he just kept telling me here in your receipt it's $100 over n over again. Plus I did not fill out a reservation to this location I had done it for the radio road location got a reservation for radio and the next morning my email stated this location was not happy about that since it was further and I had to pay $0.99 a mile so I ended up paying more for mileage for the different. Will think twice about using Uhaul on my next move.Barbara M.

I was helped by a very rude man named Douglas with a bad attitude who didn't hook up the trailer properly. As a result the trailer became unattached from the hitch as I exited the lot. The safety chains were the only thing holding the trailer which started to sway the trailer and then slammed into the rear of my 2019 Tahoe. I called them and they came out to the street and hooked it back up and sent me on my way!! I'm over 60 and female. I fount myself at the side of 95 with no lights on the trailer and a tight time line to travel 900 miles north. I told this to the owner who checked the plug and gave me another one when I returned the trailer. Great!! My hellish trip was over by then. No discount. No apologies. Nothing. Not very nice. I'll NEVER go there again and I will tell everyone my story!!Kjari B.
This was not the original destination for my drop-off. It was supposed to be dropped off at the Davis Road Shell station. The woman there was not polite and told me that I could not drop off the truck at that location (even though that was what my paperwork said). She said that it would need to be dropped off at the main Uhaul location on Tamiami Trail. She would not provide any information regarding that location and said that 'Uhaul does what it wants without regard to her'. I then had to drive to the other location after googling the address. The change of location was an inconvenience that I really didn't need at that point.KELLY G.

This is how it should be! Easy, convenient and a trained staff!!! Wasted a FULL DAY and was sent to 4 locations to pick 1 up trailer after reservation being made 6 weeks prior!!! Took 10 mins to drop it off! Uhaul needs competition! Maybe then they'd be a great company.Jeff L.

The online rental experience went surprisingly well. It was an elaborate app. There was a failure when the "alternate contact" person I designated didn't answer the phone to confirm. Beware of this. He didn't answer because he didn't know it was them calling or that they were going to call.Richard P.

We spend thousands of dollars a year with your company and especially this location. We have to wait in line way too long - always short staffed. When online or phone call reservations, there are SEVERAL times we do not have a vehicle upon pick up! this is NOT ACCEPTABLE! this is forcing us to look for another truck rental company. The first location I had a reservation at, SureStorage, did not have my vehicle, no one was working when I went to pick it up and when I tried to do a mobile check in, I got a reply that there had been no equipment assigned to my rental. They are terrible and I will not use them again.Mike M.

Trip from Naples, FL to Cleveland, OH. As I arrived in Cleveland the weather was awful. Windshield Washer Fluid was frozen and did not work. Over the next 4 days i had ti stop repeatedly to manually clean the windshield. The Fluid finally thawed out when in got into Tenn. on the way back. What compensation are you going to offer me. your local and regional office was aware of where i was traveling, why would they not fill it with fluid that would not freeze? Verbal communication training would do your staff some good at the drop off zone. Simply staring at customers who attempt to follow the directions on the signs about drop off to the point you think okay! Perhaps I should go inside to see about the drop off only to be greeted by the apathetic statement of I don't do drop offs the guys outside handle that.Michael M.

Will NOT USE UHAUL AGAIN! Upon arrival at my destination in Bonita Springs, FL, I called the phone number on the contract to learn the location to drop off my trailer. I was on hold for almost 20 minutes and was finally told to drop it off at -15600 Old 41 Rd, Bonita Springs. I drove it to that location a Tuesday in the early afternoon. The woman in charge told me I could not leave there. She told me to take it to a different location South of Naples. Heavy traffic made this an especially nerve racking trip and put me way behind a very busy day. Very inconvenient and lots of worry and rescheduling. The person that was working at that moment was very rude and had an attitude. Starting with telling us that we wasted our time doing the online checking. She asked for the name on the reservation which it was mine. She said they didn't have anything available, I told her that I made the reservation the night before and I changed the location in the morning. She said there is nothing I can do and handed me a piece of paper with a 1800 # to call because it has nothing to do with her. I told her that I recieved a text message with the confirmation, meanwhile, I was calling the #. she told me that Uhaul had send me plenny of text message canceling my reservation. At that moment I showed her my phone with the messages and I asked her if she could check with the resevation #, she gave me an attitude and told me to be quite. The 1800# put me on hold, and I keep saying that makes no sense what was going on, my stepdad asked if we could rent a truck that it was on the parking lot and she answered him NO, don't you see it's broken! very unprofessional! She finally took our reservarion # after waiting for 10 minutes and she found it and of course she made a smart remark by saying that we didn't guve her the right information. (I made the reservation, but when we did the online check in they asked us for the driver info, which it was my stepdad) I tried to explain that, but she refused to listen to us, she kept arguing. she asked us for the payment and I asked her if she could use the one on the systen since the lady that took my reservation on the phone the night before told me Uhaul will use that card. The elder said the card was declined so I provided the same card I gave on the phone and once again she got upset. She didn' explain anything. She just gave us the papers and told us to go outside. I'm very disappointed with the service it was provided at this location. I had move before and use Uhaul and I had no complaints so ever. The people that helped on the phone were very helpful but I this person at this location has no customer sevice experience. I worked in customer service for 16 years and I learned that you never take anything personal, you leave your problems on a side, and you help your customers as much as you can to provide an excellent service especially when you are in the process of moving. I used the app since I wanted to have very limited interaction with people since of covid. I waited 45 min to be served. Representative was very rude when I showed him confirmation code just to get keys. When I returned and I was using app I was been yelled since I parked truck per instruction I was given by the app. They said at branch that I should use the app only if I return the truck after hours. It look 45 minutes to pick up rental, due to several locations being overbooked and many customers all being relocated to this location. Uhaul employee was arguing and berating several of the customers in front of me. Bald Eagle Towing said truck needs a new battery. I wish the equipment would have been in working order. This caused a 2 hr delay in unloading.Andrew K.

I called ahead because we had a one way rental from Colorado and needed storage. I spoke with Doug and he said storage was available. Once we arrived I found that the storage wasn’t large enough (I wasn’t told which sizes were available) and had to get two units. Had I known this, I would have chose a different drop off. Fortunately Joshua was super helpful and made it less stressful and provided the best customer service. Many times access to storage was blocked by U-Haul trucks with no place to park. Door to storage doesn’t stay open and therefore smushes as you walk through with items. Also, can’t open double door for oversized items. Concrete guards surrounding storage door entrance were very annoying and obtrusive. .
