This interaction that I had with the staff was ridiculous I have used uhaul several times and have picked up from the location before never have I been charged for any cleaning service I always return the equipment without any problems today when I walked in the staff member needed to explain the no smoking policy to me because I look like a smoker apparently and charged me for the insurance that I never wanted or agreed to I have never picked up a rental and felt like a criminal because said staff member needs to go over policy's with me and then she points me towards the door and tells me the uhaul is outside during all of this I just agree and nod I found the uhaul if you were wondering I'm used to someone pulling it around and when I got to my uhaul pick up location I love to hear they didn't have my truck because they were unaware of a reservation I made a month in advance but I called got the truck reserved at another location still to be overcharged and disrespected

Jlyn L.We were overcharged by 250 or so miles. We told the initial rep, the check in rep and the office person who called today on another matter. I have pictures and documentation so it should be corrected. The main young man working who was knowledgeable was doing his best. The other worker was a complete thug, rude to us and his coworker. Acted like he'd rather be anywhere else. Gang tats and thug gestures was totally off putting. I paid for a couch cover on line and he never gave it to me so I said I'd get it myself. After I walked out the door I was tracked down and asked to see the receipt ALTHOUGH I had already provided it and told them I needed it. Hope we never need a uhaul again. If we do we will be driving to the next town over.
Colby B.It says climate controlled however when I was moving my things in yesterday it sure seemed very cold not only in the hallway of the facility but in the storage unit itself. It isn't very easy to get to because of all the broken equipment blocking entry ways. Staff is super nice and I appreciate that.

Joe G.I was scheduled to rent a 17-foot moving truck at 9:30 A.M. When my mother went to pick up the vehicle, the customer service representative told her our pick-up was at 3. I had screenshots confirming the time of pick-up was indeed 9:30 A.M. but there were no 17-foot vehicles available for us. We had to take a smaller vehicle resulting in all of our belongings not fitting and forcing us to make a four-hour trip to obtain the rest of our belongings.

The representative was professional and explained all that was necessary for me to feel comfortable. On a final note I have rented pick ups, vans and trucks from this location over the course of 30+ years and have always been satisfied. JAMES B.The app SUCKS! Took me 20 minutes to check out the van. App locked when I tried to change wrong mileage. Went in took me not change mileage because it would mess it up. Was billed for 309 miles went less then 25 miles. Made me do the inspection when I brought the van back. Was billed $347 on any estimated $53 change.

Teresa S.The standard presentation of the brand is outstanding everyone has done their job on the forefront as the face of uhaul at this location and it's a clear reflection of the manager, but I'm disappointed in how my personal situation was handled, although I would love to Give 5 stars I won't because I didn't receive 5 star service my safety and freedom was compromised on top of the huge inconvenience and set back I'm I'm. Still goingnto expirience long after I return this truck because I am nothing but a number and a dollar sign to this company. I do not recommend uhaul not to my friends family and/or word off mouth. I leave this with dignity and respect so I won't air out my experience in detail with thee intention to slander this brand.

I finally stopped and bought tools to tighten it. When I rolled down the window, it would not roll up in the track. I had to stop the truck each time and fix that.

joe P.There is zero sense of urgency. I get that your team is renting equipment all day every day, but it shouldn't take 20-30 minutes to pick up reserved equipment. And no, this isn't about the online check-in process. Everything and everyone moves so slow. My rental started at the time on the contract, but I didn't leave the lot for nearly 30 minutes from that time because of the final steps of paperwork and then waiting on the crew to connect the trailer. Then dropping off the equipment I was told to wait for a worker. Again, a 30 minute process that should have taken 2-3 minutes. I had to pay for the time YOU wasted. At that point that's not just an inconvenience.
Andrew H.This place always busy….never enough workers. Wait time is ridiculous. Engine light on in truck. Main complaint is it is impossible to 100% plan a move because even though it is “reserved†you may or may not get the added equipment. I got nothing but 1 dolly which is not what I reserved. The girl that checked me in didn't care. When I ask her about the blankets I reserved her response was I don't have anything to do with it. No help at all. Blamed it all on the reservation center and how bad they were and they screw things up all the time. I left not feeling comfortable even using uhaul

Sheila F.I reserved a 20 ft truck just two days before picking it up they told me they didn't have the truck and downsized me to a 17 foot truck…this truck the transmission does not shift properly, the blower motor for the ac wouldn't work. They did not have a truck that would go out of town. When we turned the truck in a day early with more gas in it than we got there was no credit. The truck had 10 miles of fuel message on dash when we picked it up when we turned it in it hadmore than a quarter tank.

I didn’t like the fact thar 9 times out of 10 I had to abs that one of the broken down trucks be moved so that I could access my storage and the price is outrageous!! The staff at the uhaul on 6th is absolutely amazing!!! They had to put up with me and I am a handful to say the least. Every time I entered the building I could see the expression of oh my what does she want today, but the tone of their voice and the attitude was completely the opposite. They went above and beyond to satisfy my demands. They all deserve a reward for all I put them through. To the Uhaul Crew on 6th in Amarillo, Thank You All for putting up with me. It took over an hour for her to get me my storage unit. she kept pushing me off, to go to where i had to return my uhaul truck in canyon she wanted to cancel my reservation so i could go there. Someone else has to help her so i could get going. A few weeks later i went in to rent a truck so i could move my things and she was there again and stated that they were sold out of trucks meanwhile there was about 5-6 trucks there. I went online to try and see who else had a uhaul available, THE SAME location had multiple trucks available. I felt lied to and went to home depot and rented a truck. I will never deal with this location again. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

Beverly B. | Overall ExperienceThe staff members that I saw consistently were very friendly and helpful, although there did seem to be a lot of turnover and new hires being trained often. The price of my storage unit seemed to be increasing incrementally, culminating in a $15 late fee for my unit in the last month (despite my account being set up with auto-pay and never having that problem previously). The unit itself was not entirely secure. There was a 6-8 inch gap between the wall of my unit and the one next to it, such that my neighboring unit’s owner could reach an arm in take my items if I hadn’t accounted for that. Elevator goes down sometimes and delays my ability to access the unit or remove items.
