Carrier was 5 days late . I was sent back and forth between 2 locations because each place said the other had the boxes. That was after they had to be brought back from Abilene where they had been misdelivered. I wasn't refunded first month storage charge nor for it being 5 days late. Website was not accurate. I put in my vehicle information, and site said the car hauler would work, but it was too small after all. Branch did credit me the difference (or was supposed to), but was a little frustrating I hauled that all over the place for nothing.Andrew N.

There was a tear in the driver seat cover right in the middle, and kept sliding apart, but the bigger issue is that the truck's breaks were squeaking. Thankfully, the breaks worked fine, but the noise was rather loud. Also, the noise inside the truck cabin on the freeway was extremely loud. Otherwise, the truck worked, and completed the move. I was told my return time would be after hours, but wasn't told where or how just that it was at this location. If the online store didn't explain properly I wouldn't have been able to return the truck at the proper time and would have been overcharged. The truck was clean and well maintained, no problems there. Just wanted more explanation and review over the truck as it was my first time driving such a vehicle.Bodhi M.

The truck I had was struggling to get over 35 even on flat amarillo roads, I would not suggest anyone rent it if they are going to cross any elevated roads.Clark J.
Madison provided excellent customer service! The manager was pleasant and seemed willing to work with us. However, the cab was filthy when we picked up the truck. Windows, windshield, seats and dash were nasty. Looked like a beverage had exploded. Madison jumped right in though and cleaned it up as best she could. That truck has been rode hard. It looked nothing like the nice, new truck we were shown previously. The wind noise in the cab was deafening and it rattled everywhere. At 60 mph it made a horrible metal on metal banging noise. I would not have been surprised in the least if the transmission or muffler system fell off in the middle of the highway. It definitely needed new brakes and steering was all over the place. It made the 1000 mile trip seem like a million. Tires looked new and the a/c worked which was a blessing. We didn't have any mechanical issues thank God. The seats were surprisingly comfortable albeit a little shabby. We made it though. I recommend this old girl be retired. She has almost 130 K on her.SHARON H.

My difficulty is I am 76 and ask for a 10' truch... what I had to get because there were no truck..was a 11' It was to be 821 dollars Della Elizabeth Perez I Eended up with a Bill of $1023.. No one would help me after I told this was not the truck I ordered... I flew my Son who has a CDL drove it only because he had a deadline to meet in Az.. The location, equipment, and service were perfect. However my problem lies with uhaul.com. The website was unable to access my location data and therefore I could not process my after hours return. I tried on multiple browsers and multiple phones. This resulted in me paying a $20 fee due to the website's inability to function which I am not too pleased about.John A.

They overcharged me 3 times a total of 180.00 for a 19.99 rental with no equipment and 14.00 coverage with 30 miles I only had the truck for 4 hrs. I feel very disappointed in the service at this location they charged my card 3 times in one day. I'm praying they refund my money in a timely manner I have kids to support!!!!!!!!Phinease T.

I had some bad experience and some good. I didn’t like the fact thar 9 times out of 10 I had to abs that one of the broken down trucks be moved so that I could access my storage and the price is outrageous!! The staff at the uhaul on 6th is absolutely amazing!!! They had to put up with me and I am a handful to say the least. Every time I entered the building I could see the expression of oh my what does she want today, but the tone of their voice and the attitude was completely the opposite. They went above and beyond to satisfy my demands. They all deserve a reward for all I put them through. To the Uhaul Crew on 6th in Amarillo, Thank You All for putting up with me. The girl that checked me in did not know what she was doing. It took over an hour for her to get me my storage unit. she kept pushing me off, to go to where i had to return my uhaul truck in canyon she wanted to cancel my reservation so i could go there. Someone else has to help her so i could get going. A few weeks later i went in to rent a truck so i could move my things and she was there again and stated that they were sold out of trucks meanwhile there was about 5-6 trucks there. I went online to try and see who else had a uhaul available, THE SAME location had multiple trucks available. I felt lied to and went to home depot and rented a truck. The staff members that I saw consistently were very friendly and helpful, although there did seem to be a lot of turnover and new hires being trained often. The price of my storage unit seemed to be increasing incrementally, culminating in a $15 late fee for my unit in the last month (despite my account being set up with auto-pay and never having that problem previously). The unit itself was not entirely secure. There was a 6-8 inch gap between the wall of my unit and the one next to it, such that my neighboring unit’s owner could reach an arm in take my items if I hadn’t accounted for that.
