When dropping off trailer one of the mechanics came from across the street and asked if I was dropping off, then he proceeded to show me where to go. I was about to walk into the main office when he caught me saved me a walk to the office. Wish I would have caught his name that’s the kind of pride and helpfulness I admire. Thank you sir!

the girl that checked me out and originally was super nice super friendly made it easy everything worked out great the first day I even brought the truck back early because I needed to get a cargo van because I said the truck wasn't going to be the 15 ft truck wasn't going to be available so then I did originally said after sitting there for 2 hours I originally just got in the truck and drove off and you'll get it back when I get done this afternoon because I'm I'm done I'm done I'll cancel my card you won't get no more payments for me soon as I get done I'll return the truck I'm pissed as f*** I have a time schedule and I should have been able to keep it you guys are responsible with this whole thing and nobody helped me out they just kept referring me to somebody else very business side very very disappointed

The experience was great. The employees at this location are very friendly. Only improvement is to perhaps let me know to expect a text message before driving off. Staff seemed to all be high on something. They charged me for the trailer and then proceeded to tell me that they didn’t have the trailer. I had made the reservation in advance. So then they said they refunded me. The next day I got a notification that the rental hadn’t been turned in even though I never picked up the trailer. Staff was unprofessional and cost me valuable time. I ended up having to go across town to a different U-Haul and then on two separate days deal with U-Haul on the phone for over 30 minutes each time to get their mistake sorted out. Very frustrating situation to deal with.

I reserved a truck on the app. When I got there, the truck wasn’t there. I spent 45 minutes there waiting for them to find a truck for me. But the worst part of it was how rude this girl was. I would ask a question and she would just look at me. Would not speak to me. Very weird. Another customer came in and she didn’t speak to them either. They asked her a question and she just looked at him didn’t speak.

Requested vehicle “guarantee” on website, and then was notified 10 minutes before scheduled pick up that vehicle was unavailable.. was able to get in a vehicle the next day and when I requested an appliance dolly that was also ordered ahead, there was none available.. will never use U-Haul again

The man working the desk was very helpful and kind. I was third in line but he multitasked his way through helping everyone who was waiting. Very nice and professional. The truck was so nice and clean and the guys who were in charge of that were also great. I was very nervous about driving the truck cause I have never driven a vehicle that large but they were very helpful and made sure I knew everything I needed to before driving off. Wonderful experience!

Reserved a 20’ truck and was given a 26’ truck. Reserved a dolly and was told they didn’t have it, but was told I could buy one. Inappropriate and seems like a scam. The point of a reservation (which was made a month in advance) is to have the equipment I reserved, not to be given a sales pitch.

The place was under staffed and they were not happy to be there at all. The young man at the counter had his hat on backwards and did not finish helping me before he started on another customer. The rental had sticky residue in cup holders. The online booking automatically added blankets and several dollys. He was able to remove the dollys he said he didnt have any anyway. The app is a bit clunky. I do not believe I could have picked it up with out human intervention even if I wanted too.

The trailer was fine. However, after I returned it with the help of a uHaul worker, the reservation was not completed. I had to call several times to get it squared away. My first call to this location, I was on hold for an hour before i had to hang up. Later i called the central number which was able to help me. I still had to call back the location several times before I got a representative to help me. He then went out to confirm the trailer was there and closed the reservation.

Hard to reach a local office. You just get the customer service line and they messed up our reservation and then had to reschedule then it was put for the wrong day. Very disappointed in the service. You have to do the vehicle return through the app and that was ridiculous

The truck was dropped off that night. Conner was topping off the fluids and we saw some damage and he said he would put a sticker on it but he forgot. Other than that it was perfect. The truck worked very well and we are pleased. I would recommend U-haul for moving.

The drop=off location itself was ok. Bhen I reached my destination I checked the order to remember the address of where I was supposed to drop it off, and saw the company had changed the drop off location to somewhere out of my way. So again, the issue is not the location, but U-Haul itself. The only issue I had was the customer service person asked me to back the trailer into a fairly tight spot. I'm not great a backing trailers, but she helped guide me. Next time I will look for a different rental company, but U-Haul is the dominant company in our area.

First of all, it was a ONE way trip to Betheny OKC for the drop off. OKC called TWICE wanting trailer back with panic that it was due to be rechecked out. This was AFTER it had been dropped off, and reconfirmed, twice. Question is did they not update computer? Did they not go outside and look on the lot? Also, the rental drop off location listed on last receipt is NOT the physical location used. Would seem they used another location right back in Amarillo, TX even thought that is NOT where it was left. Something is off with U-Haul software and makes for lots of confusion on what really happened. This review does not apply to location in Amarillo, but the one in Betheny okc

I would have thought this was a brand new store, it sure looked like it was when I walked in, but it's not. I don't know exactly how long it's been there, but the supervisor, Maria told me she has been the boss lady for the past 8 years. When I say I got great customer service, I declare that aspect was just a portion of how impressed I was with my entire experience. We all hate to move. Whether its across town or cross country, it pretty much fills up a whole bucket full of stress, hurdles and aggravation. We involuntarily find out what kind of person we really are. Some of us unexpectedly find out we should have been going to a therapist a long time ago. We also realize how much satisfaction many customer service personnel get out of being jerkface no-sayers, ie; car rental places and a few uhuals in my past, to be quite honest. So it's special when a sales rep recognizes that I'm stressed the f out and can't find where I put my drivers license, no I don't know my zip code and no im not typically this filthy and stinky, yes I got lost, I'm SORRY I'm not an idiot just pls be nice to me. Maria was compassionate, PATIENT with me, and professional, she was talking some great stuff about her employees. Her store was in perfect shape. She has super security system set up all throughout the premises. I appreciate that very much. Ultimately, it's boils down to she's great at what she does and loves what she is doing because she is a great person who cares about others. She is the type of person who can go work anywhere and shine. I hope Uhual recognizes what a gem yall have. Yall better be paying her really well and sending her on vacations. She deserves it. Girl Power!!

When I first stored my belongings here, the facility was nice, clean, and very secure with easy yet guarded access for account holders. However, when I went yesterday to clear out my unit and remove my stuff, things had changed. First, the sliding doors would not open with my access card nor would they open from the inside automatically. I had a truck and movers but could but get my things out because of the non working door. Waited 30 minutes in the office to even tell anyone about the doors, and then 30 more minutes before anyone came to fix it. Once they jimmied the doors open, I was able to start moving out. For the first time in two years, there were baby roaches ALL over the lower level hallways. Though I found none in my stuff at first, the couch that was by the door inside my unit had them under the cushions. I check my stuff every month and for two years, no bugs have been in any of it. I had to throw the couch out because this storage unit allowed an outbreak of roaches to take over it's hallways unchecked. I expect crap like this of cheaper storage facilities, but not when I'm paying nearly $150 a month for this supposedly super nice facility. Disappointing to say the LEAST.

The directions in the facility for the stairs were not posted anywhere. When the person we talked to about our storage area said if we had any questions to call her and then when we tried to call she never answered. It took 45 minutes to find the stairs and our storage unit.

It says climate controlled however when I was moving my things in yesterday it sure seemed very cold not only in the hallway of the facility but in the storage unit itself. It isn't very easy to get to because of all the broken equipment blocking entry ways. Staff is super nice and I appreciate that.

The standard presentation of the brand is outstanding everyone has done their job on the forefront as the face of uhaul at this location and it's a clear reflection of the manager, but I'm disappointed in how my personal situation was handled, although I would love to Give 5 stars I won't because I didn't receive 5 star service my safety and freedom was compromised on top of the huge inconvenience and set back I'm I'm. Still goingnto expirience long after I return this truck because I am nothing but a number and a dollar sign to this company. I do not recommend uhaul not to my friends family and/or word off mouth. I leave this with dignity and respect so I won't air out my experience in detail with thee intention to slander this brand.

Great customer service! Customer service representative appeared to be new, and the General Manager was there working with us every step of the way. I am giving this review and "Excellent" rating not only based on my experience, but also how the GM treated her employee. She was very caring and friendly to both of us. Facility was clean, and I felt reassured with all of the security device present.

I had some bad experience and some good. I didn’t like the fact thar 9 times out of 10 I had to abs that one of the broken down trucks be moved so that I could access my storage and the price is outrageous!! The staff at the uhaul on 6th is absolutely amazing!!! They had to put up with me and I am a handful to say the least. Every time I entered the building I could see the expression of oh my what does she want today, but the tone of their voice and the attitude was completely the opposite. They went above and beyond to satisfy my demands. They all deserve a reward for all I put them through. To the Uhaul Crew on 6th in Amarillo, Thank You All for putting up with me. I appreciate each of y’all!! Keep up the good work!!

The girl that checked me in did not know what she was doing. It took over an hour for her to get me my storage unit. she kept pushing me off, to go to where i had to return my uhaul truck in canyon she wanted to cancel my reservation so i could go there. Someone else has to help her so i could get going. A few weeks later i went in to rent a truck so i could move my things and she was there again and stated that they were sold out of trucks meanwhile there was about 5-6 trucks there. I went online to try and see who else had a uhaul available, THE SAME location had multiple trucks available. I felt lied to and went to home depot and rented a truck. I will never deal with this location again. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

The staff members that I saw consistently were very friendly and helpful, although there did seem to be a lot of turnover and new hires being trained often. The price of my storage unit seemed to be increasing incrementally, culminating in a $15 late fee for my unit in the last month (despite my account being set up with auto-pay and never having that problem previously). The unit itself was not entirely secure. There was a 6-8 inch gap between the wall of my unit and the one next to it, such that my neighboring unit’s owner could reach an arm in take my items if I hadn’t accounted for that. Elevator goes down sometimes and delays my ability to access the unit or remove items.

When trying to return vehicle after business hours while trying to check out it couldn't verify my location. My location was clearly on as it was working on other applications. I walked the property for 20 minutes trying to refresh and restart my phone to avoid a $20 fee and i still get stuck paying the $20 fee.
