The location did not know how to start and confirm payment without completing the rental payment prior to actually supplying Trailer at pickup location. Drop-off location specified by poor service attendant was not operating and there was no one to assist in disconnecting the the rental Trailer at 8:30 AM this morning. I am recovering from back surgery last month and handling a 6'Ã—12' Trailer is hard on a 74 year old customer. This kind of crap will put you in Court, think about it.JIMMY D.

Self check In did not work. I only needed the trailer for an hour. Took longer to check it out and return it than it did to use it. The link kept giving an error regarding my location settings on my phone. I did exactly as it said, repeatedly Set on hold for thirty minutes and was eventually cut off. Second call took only fifteen minutes, but still was not confident about leaving the trailer there without some kind of confirmation. Store attendant was borderline rude at check out. Timothy assisted us on return of the vehicle and scheduled an additional rental a few days outâ€¦customer service is great! ONLY PROBLEM: We live in Amarillo and had trouble getting local phone service and don't like the automated phone service. I could never talk to a live person in the reservation process and want the option to talk with the local service agent. This transfer to the national line in our view is a negative feature of UHauls system. Do not take away the ability to speak with the locations, it depersonalizes service.MICHAEL B.

Most of the staff is timely and very helpful in taking care of any needs you have. However, a member of the staff stood talking to another staff member in an enclosed office. She was actually standing in the customer area, looked straight at us and then went on with her conversation without telling us why she wasn't helping us. I would highly recommend them. They stayed open long enough for me to get there. They had to work to get my hitch turned over so the trailer would not drag. Both the hitch and the ball had to be taken off and turned over so the trailer would not drag.Terri L.

The Ubox experience was terrible from start to finish. Box was 3 days late getting to Amarillo and another day lost in picking it up due to misinformation given by scheduling dept. Very disappointed. What would make me feel better is if I could get the 150.00 for late delivery paid back to me asap.LARRY I.

THE ONLY THING THEY FORGOT WAS TO MAKE SURE MY FURNITURE PADS WERE IN THE TRUCK. I WAS CHARGED FOR THEM BUT THEY WERE NOT IN THE TRUCK I RENTED. THEY REFUNDED MY FEE. No improvement needed! The gentleman who helped me to rent the truck was courteous, knowledgeable, and the process was very quick. The truck ran like a dream and held the exact amount we needed. When I turned it in, the young lady was also courteous and asked if I had any concerns about the truck and if it was what I needed. They were professional from start to finish! I waited 20 minutes for a representative to help me get the moving truck. She was very rude and kept making unappreciated comments. Then me and my child get in the truck that wasn't cleaned. It smelled strongly of marijuana (drugs). I was so short on time after waiting so long for assistance, that I couldn't complain. Then I found roaches crawling the back of the truck. I returned the truck right around the time they were closing and the return truck drive was full. So I asked one of the men cleaning the truck where I should park, he very rudely screamed at me that I should use the back entrance. This was all around a horrible experience.Brittany R.

I asked if they could make sure that I was not charged for the dolly since it was not provided at the previous location because it was self service/pick-up and I was told by management to call customer service. Why, when it would take a few extra minutes out of her time and day to help a paid in full customer. If I ever need a U-Haul or a friend does we will not be using this location. But on the brighter side the gentleman that helped me before asking his manager for assistance to further help me with my concerns, was very kind and eager to help and learn something new on the job. I had some bad experience and some good. I didn’t like the fact thar 9 times out of 10 I had to abs that one of the broken down trucks be moved so that I could access my storage and the price is outrageous!! The staff at the uhaul on 6th is absolutely amazing!!! They had to put up with me and I am a handful to say the least. Every time I entered the building I could see the expression of oh my what does she want today, but the tone of their voice and the attitude was completely the opposite. They went above and beyond to satisfy my demands. They all deserve a reward for all I put them through. To the Uhaul Crew on 6th in Amarillo, Thank You All for putting up with me. The girl that checked me in did not know what she was doing. It took over an hour for her to get me my storage unit. she kept pushing me off, to go to where i had to return my uhaul truck in canyon she wanted to cancel my reservation so i could go there. Someone else has to help her so i could get going. A few weeks later i went in to rent a truck so i could move my things and she was there again and stated that they were sold out of trucks meanwhile there was about 5-6 trucks there. I went online to try and see who else had a uhaul available, THE SAME location had multiple trucks available. I felt lied to and went to home depot and rented a truck. The staff members that I saw consistently were very friendly and helpful, although there did seem to be a lot of turnover and new hires being trained often. The price of my storage unit seemed to be increasing incrementally, culminating in a $15 late fee for my unit in the last month (despite my account being set up with auto-pay and never having that problem previously). The unit itself was not entirely secure. There was a 6-8 inch gap between the wall of my unit and the one next to it, such that my neighboring unit’s owner could reach an arm in take my items if I hadn’t accounted for that.
