The original location, at Philadelphia Steak and Hoagie (no kidding) did not answer the phone many times. When they finally answered, the day before our booking, theysaid they did not know where the keys are to the 26ft van. Fortunately your customer service came through with the North Hills location. While this was some distance away at least we had the vehicle we wanted at a proper U-Haul operation. I would tell the first location to stick to their Hoagies.

I returned the truck after using it for about 2 hours and was told that i would be sent an email for the receipt..it didn’t arrive that day or the following day but after two days with a reminder to RETURN THE TRUCK! text message showed that i was using the truck for two days which i didn’t so i called the office. i don’t know how that happened but this is something your office need to look into..i always use uhaul but this is the first time i had so much complication.

The trailer was ready to go. The person I checked in with worked through system problems and got me going quick and with a smile. The person I checked in with hustled to help me with the trailer as we blocked the driveway with the car to get it into a spot. He was cool and calm and efficient. You have great people. Thank you.

I drove only 54 miles from a full tank. Charging me $80 for 5 gallons is incorrect and unreasonable.
The fuel gauges are inaccurate, and they didn't actually check the staring fuel correctly.

The manager gave me a 10-foot truck, which, according to the documents, had 1/4 of the fuel remaining, but in fact, the tank was empty. I returned to the office and told him about it and asked if I could return the truck with an empty tank. He also said yes, of course, that would be fine. In the end, I returned with an empty tank, just like I picked it up, and they charged me an extra $20 for delivering it with less fuel than I picked it up with. I called and told them about it, but they did nothing and didn't refund me.

I originally rented the u-haul from the Northridge, Ca location. When I arrived the gentleman said I do not have a reservation and that he had no trucks, but he quickly changed my reservation to the North Hills location. The staff there was friendly however the truck was dirty and on empty.

The customer service I received was exceptional! I've rented from multiple different U-haul locations throughout the San Fernando Valley and the agent that helped me, Delmy, was not only welcoming and insightful, but she also managed my time in there very efficiently and effectively, helping answer all my questions and getting me out to my truck quickly- she was excellent. I will be renting from this location again after that experience I just had.

On arrival, my gas tank was at 30% and per my contract it wants me to fill up to 50% on drop off. This is not okay as I now may be charged a fee. I dropped off the u haul with the same gas level as I received but still was prompted that i may be charged a fee.

The only thing I would say is to not leave the tank on E(empty) only 5 miles to E & then me returning it with more & not crediting me for that but I went over 1mile & then being charged $7 more than the initial bill. Not good business in my opinion.

The two men that were working yesterday around 6pm on March 29, 2024, when I checked in did an excellent job helping me get acclimated to the storage unit. I didn't get their names but there were two Hispanic men one with face jewelry and beard and a shorter heavier set mustached man. The heavier set man moustached man walked me personally through the facility although he said that he was new spoke to me as a true professional, recognizing my Military Veteran Service as a US Air Force Desert Storm Veteran. He gave me the perfect experience in settling into my new storage unit. Because of him I will make recommendations if anyone (including Veterans) I know needs to obtain any services including storage to seek Services at your facility.

There was one isse/problem, there are (2) card readers on the outside of the building where my storage unit was located. 1 Reader is for checkin/checkou and the 2nd reader for opening the sliding glass doors to enter the building. Not sure why there needs to be 2 readers for this task,but the problem was the 1st reader was partially broken/damaged and you couldnt read the screen AT ALL so you didn't know what it did, or didn't say, which is just frustrating. Instead of having something broken/damaged, simpify it so it's just lights vs a display or something. more sophisticated. I understand the area and possibly some people in the area/passer by, or unkind custotmers can cause such damage. thank you for everything, it was very much appreciated and should the need arise again, we will use the location and/or other uhaul services again!

I paid $127.90 for my monthly storage on the 27th of October and I moved out of my storage unit on the 3rd of November, that’s only seven days. Why am I not getting a parcel refund at the least? I’m a senior citizen on a fixed income and homeless, and I feel like I’ve been taken advantage of.

Generally clean facility. Comes with rat poison box. There were however still particles of black stuff that fell all over my stuff. There were a couple time the staff helped me just as they were closing and that was really great of them I was under so much stress and pressure that day and needed to place a few things in my storage locker. I had gotten there 5-10 minutes after they were supposed to close and I caught them on time and they let me in and waited the short time I promised. So helpful. Each time I needed help I always got it. So blessed.

Your questions are targeted to answers you seek but do not describe how from when s reservation was booked the person Derick stated he was able too ok book the truck rental and the storage unit at the same location
Which was what I stated I needed
However
Upon arrival not only were they booked At separate locations
But I had been told by vehicle could park safely on the lot while I was moving
The lot manager said not if those bookers don’t know what’s up
There is no parking on the lot only street parking
And That was limited and a walk-in back
Plus must move vehicle or risk towing
Then drive to storage facility fifteen minutes away and the lockers were small and the narrow corridor was an upper unit
It will be difficult to load especially after moving items all night
Now I will need labor to assist me $$$
and don’t know if they towed my car at the other site
It’s a nightmare
Now add no income homeless to the mix
And saving items from landlords threatening to thrown them away
And i I re as l realize now the high rental cost these days and how Storage facilities jack up the price beyond high demand
And will continue to do so in rents
So my things may not be mine for long.
And mostly worthless to anyone else
When I go to the unit I may need bigger storage and it’s not available
A National corporation and this is how you run it
And public storage is much worse!

I ordered a 10x10, it kept showing up online as a 5x5x8. Once I arrived in California, only half of my stuff could fit. I had to drive 17 miles to my cousin's to store the rest. Your staff was no help at all and the girl up front acted like I was inconveniencing her. It wasn't until the next day when I returned my truck, that Stephanie was the only one extremely professional, knowledgeable and compassionate.

The facility was clean but I didn't Notice that there was a Very Large Rodent Trap inside the Unit upon first Viewing it because the Employee was covering the space where it was sitting. I actually moved out on 7-24-2020 before the next monthly billing cycle and left the door open. I used your rental truck to remove my property. See contract in your system. I only used the truck for a few hours. Thank you for your clean an efficient facility and helpful staff.
