At first the person who helped us over the phone didn't inform us that the truck we wanted wasn't available. So when we arrived they said we had rented a cargo van instead. Luckily for us someone was over an hour & half late for there reserved truck so we were able to get what we originally reserved! So it turned out well.

I rented a truck and when asked if I wanted to rent a dolly or blankets I said no. When I got the truck home I noticed they were in the truck and I couldn't remove them. This is a load of crap. It took up precious space and for what? So your company can make an extra penny if I accidentally break the seal. I rented a truck with a specific amount of space. I felt like I was scammed. I will continue my business next time with Penske who I rented from last week and I didn't have their shit in the back. Feel free to call me regarding this if you like. 7147152382 Jason

I missed the gas tank halfway point by what the "owner" called a "hair" and I got charged $14.50. Telling me a gallon of gas is $4.50. Not even the best chevron goes that high and the gas at his location is dead cheap crap to what I can see. Not helpful. Straight rats looking to make a quick buck.

I rented a 10 foot for 19.95 plus 1.09 a mail. Plus I order 14.00 Insurance. Went 40 mile round trip. Use it 8 hour for 85.00.

The location would be given a one star if the manager did not give me the maximum discount. First minor issue is a utility dolly was reserved about two weeks in advance. We were told there is not utility dolly there and nowhere else close to the location. Second more severe issue: The Uhaul truck that was sent out had a record that the brakes need repair. When we took the Uhaul out it worked fine for awhile and then began to shake when the brakes were lightly pressed. The situation became more severe over the course of the trip and as we rode it into our location the truck was pretty much toast when it came to the brakes. The manager did offer his apology and gave us the maximum discount he is allowed to give.

We made a reservation for a 26" truck. We received an email from customer service providing us with the details of our reservation. When the driver went to the U-Haul location in the email, they were told that we were notified that the pick up location was changed from Chatsworth to North Hills. Communication should be more clear and emails should not be sent out confirming details of reservation if they will be changed later.

I was moved from one location to another last minute. I was charged 4 days for a dolly I didn't use. Now I just got disconnected after being on the phone for 30 mins trying to get my $50 credit for the inconvenience of my truck not being in the location I had chosen.

i scheduled the pick up on the phone for the last Saturday for the whole day wen i got to the location they told me i need to return the van on 4 pm. and i came to pick up on 11 am. wen i call to make reservation i told her i need it for the whole day . i told the guy im not sure ill be done moving by 4 . so he told me so i cant rent it for u . i have a nother reservation . if i dont retury by for he will carge me extra 50 dollar . i ask if the have a nother van. no noting for today . i payd 54 dollar for 4 hr i payd for the hole day and got 4 hr very not nice .

They Doble book me. And I dint have enough time to move or else they were going to charge me a Doble fee. Had to return truck before the other party that booked iT arrived so UHAL won't look bad. It was a big problem for me. Now I have to spend more in renting another truck to finish doing what I started.

The manager Sergio Ramirez actually called me a little b*tch when I told him I would be writing a bad yelp review. This was the worst treatment I've had from a Uhaul facility. I reserved multiple items that weren't given to me upon the rental. I was also given the truck with under half a tank with empty bottles in it. He then expected me to fill it up over the line. He yelled at me to get out and called me a "little b*tch." I'm going to alert my lawyer about this kind of treatment. That kind of anger is dangerous and shouldn't be around children. His Yelp reviews call him out by name. I wish I checked there before going. I will never go back here.

When you put a certain amount of money on hold and I return the item rented in good condition with some money due back to my visa account, I expect it to return to my account right away. Don't you folks expect to get your payment right away or should I pay you in 48 hrs???
