My only complaint is that the door on my unit tended to get stuck. But any time I couldn't open it myself the staff were more than willing to help me out. So overall it wasn't a detriment, just a slight annoyance.

They trailer was quite dirty inside and we needed to sweep it before we could load it. Other than that though everything about the Lansing pick up location was wonderful!
I was charged for an after hours return fee ($20) I disputed the fee as I returned it at least 30 minutes before the store closed and was told I would get a refund. There is no refund as of today. Very disappointed as I have rented from the N Lansing store several times.
Truck was not ready for pick up. Waited about 30 minutes. Check engine light was on.
The truck I rented had almost bald street tires in the middle of winter and I got stuck 3 times, thankfully I was able to get help, the price quoted on the website did not match what was charged to me upon pickup. App for after hours drop off does not have an option to upload photos and nowhere does it state that you must take the pictures on the app, So I took pictures, dropped my key off, and was unable to finish the share drop off.
The computers were down when I came in to rent a Trailer. The workers were very professional and after a small delay, were able to take care of me manually. Great Job!!
Call me please so I can begin to tell you about your staff with no mask and smiling bout it pointing customers in direction where trucks are parked not walking customer to truck. Trucks no sanitized. Old contracts and old food on dashboard. (Lettuce ). Truck was due after hour before I left so why would I be charged for after hours anyway. This was a total mistake using u haul I see now. It was great to have someone meet me when I pulled in to take over with the truck. But he didn't tell me that he took care of completing my online check in. I didn't know what to do when the app was asking for pictures. Then it told me it was already returned. Other than that, quick and easy. Thanks for the help!!

I have used this facility many times and I have always had excellent customer service from the staff. They have always been courteous to me and very professional when I need a U-Haul I only use this facility. Lonnie
The insurance I purchased was not as described. Towing, jump start etc were Not included. I was charged $300.00 to get my truck and trailer unstuck when the trailer hitch got stuck on driveway. (bottomed out)
The van I rented smelled like weed.

Use this place particular place on N. East St. in Lansing a few times. EVERYONE is always very kind and vehicles always clean and well maintained.
roof leaked and got my stuff wet and dirty. got stuck in the snow 3 times and had to get pulled out. There's barely any snow.
The staff at this location made me uncomfortable. They seemed bothered to have to help me at the counter and were inattentive when I returned the equipment. I wish I had a better term to use, but the employees just seemed kind of ghetto if I'm being honest. Equipment was in good shape and clean.
The back of the uhaul had some type of greasy element. It left stains

The check in process was quick and easy and the trailer was ready for me before I was done checking out. Making a reservation beforehand is the way to go. They hooked up the trailer and unhooked it for me, I did not have to do a thing! Highly recommend.
We did not get the moving pads or dolly that we had reserved.
Everything went great!! The gentleman that was working that morning was very kind and professional. He even swept out the truck for me. I will definitely use this location again if needed. The 15' foot truck was the perfect size for us. Thank you!! ðŸ˜
didn't recieve furniture pads that I paid for, didn't realize that I didn't get wiring harness for trailer until I was halfway to my destination. set up for a 7am pick up, but wasn't able to get pass code for the key, called customer service and they said that I wasnt set up for 24hr pick up and that I would have to return at 9 which created an issue for my movers. came back at 9 and the key was indeed in the lock box... so thats confusing.
One of the tires shredded and had to be replaced. I noticed a soft grinding noise and the rep at the turn-in location agreed that it sounded odd and something was wrong with the trailer. Seems like someone would notice that before renting it if they were attentive. Paid for a dozen blankets but they weren't in the trailer and I had to return and pick them up which slowed me down. No one cared, didn't say a word to me. Didn't even check my contract - just pointed at the container where I could get the blankets.
Always get in and out very fast!!

I was rented a truck that did not have a catalytic converter, and they did not disclose this information to me. The noise the truck made was horrendous and unbearable. I had to buy earplugs to drive it. The person handing me the truck assured me the noise would go down after letting it run for a bit, but that was not the case. I am very dissatisfied with this location and the way they “handled†my issue. They said it's my fault for not calling roadside and there's nothing they can do. Avoid this location at all costs.
It would have been helpful for the office to have a scraper to clear the windshield since there was frost that morning. But the store itself was very clean and the store assistant was helpful.
The kid who checked me in was either not trained very well or just didnt know what he was doing. i was checked in via on line and it still took 15 minutes. plus he asked me if i had ordered blankets an i said yes one dozen. then he never gave them to me. i thought he had already put them in the back of truck. so not impressed with service. You have a girl there with date tattoo on arm and she was great. bought queen plastic cover and rope from her and she was very good.
Many phone calls promised from many people and I get nothing except more failed promises. I tried branch employees....national call center...and going through your Facebook page....I get no solutions just empty promises and ME having to constantly call cause no one apparently is interested in service.

I've always had great service at this location. I was originally going to pick up a cargo van using the 24/7 truck share service, but after reading the terrible reviews and realizing I'd have to get friends and family involved, I figured I'd just walk into the store and handle it that way. The cargo van hadn't been returned yet, so the employee swapped it out for a pickup truck (which was perfectly fine by me) and got me in and out in about 5 minutes. I have zero complaints about this location or U-Haul in general.
Take customer to vehicle there renting don't send us out to find the rental make it more professional,
The drop off was great. The rental storage unit there was pretty filthy though.
The staff were great. The storage unit was filthy; glad I had a large broom and time. I also am concerned that I have to sit on the ground to see my lock combination and when it snows both I will be cold and the lock will be covered in snow.
Excellent service from the moment we walked through the door all the way to the gentleman checking in our return. I found the equipment (truck) to be in great shape, well cleaned and In very good running condition! Thank you all for making this so easy !!!
When we would go to our unit there would always be an extra lock on our storage unit. There was NEVER ANY REASON FOR IT. We paid for 24 hour access, never did we pay late and the general manager would put the extra lock on our unit so we couldn't get into when we wanted. We would ask the young man that was working and he had no idea why the extra lock. Also when we took our storage elsewhere there was mold all over all my stuff and the floor was wet. Destroyed alot of my antique furniture Destroyed. I will never recommend this place for storage units.

The first truck sounded like it needed a new muffler, but they immediately put me in another truck that was fine without delay and I was on my way. I have rented here many times over the past 4 or so years, and I have never been disappointed. Also, they always have what I need to rent in stock. Thx!
Rented truck for two days but was done with my move after one day and returned the truck one day early but received no refund ... Kinda disappointed with that ...

Was dreading the hassles of moving some furniture, thinking the rental process and truck would be a hassle too. Wow, were we surprised! It was concierge-level service from beginning to end: service was marked by friendliness, competence, consideration, hospitality. The cargo van was immaculate, super-clean, and all ready to go. Returning the van at the end was very simple. We are so impressed, and so grateful! We feel all of you had our back every step of the way . What might have been an onerous task was instead pleasant and fun! Thank you all! We'll be back!
Very helpful when needing to close the storage door, are to open it. Also the day of getting my storage empty I was also helped.

Calling Uhaul for access for Ubox 24 hours in advance did not actually put me on a schedule for local forklifters, staff was frustrated. Male staff unprofessional. One swore at me on Dec. 15.
Alex provided great customer service, he is courtious , helpful and well informed. Our truck was clean as was our storage unit. would recommend them to other people.
Alex went out of his way to help when our cargo van's electrical didn't work when towing Uboxes. Ended up renting a truck on a very busy college move in weekend. Very helpful staff!
UHaul should invest more resources into the UBox program. We experienced different levels of customer service, including local offices routing us back to regional offices with questions. Not effective
This branch has been stealing money from my credit card; they have made 5 random transactions on my credit card totaling almost $200 and only 3 of them have been refunded. They refuse to call me back.
