I use this location frequently and have always received good service. However, I don't understand the $16 charge I received. When I picked up the truck it had almost zero gas and I had to fill it up within 5 miles. I was told to return the truck to 1/4 full to keep the $16 credit I received for getting a truck so low on gas. I believe I filled up the tank to just past 1/4 full and explained that to the service person but still was charged the $16. So that was a little frustrating but overall I still love this location.John D.

Check out enclosed trailer so that they are properly swept. Ours had a ton of dirt inside, which we had to sweep out and mop the floor. Most people use these to move house hold items.Larry B.

Lansing pick up location was great. Your website, on the other hand, needs help . I tried to modify my reservation and had to call to make the change. I tried to take/upload photos when we took possession, and I'm not sure they ever uploaded. Link upload just kept spinning. Website does not respond well to user input.Linda N.
I am looking for clarification on the Safe Trip Fee of $5.00 and also the 2 Gallons of gas I was charged for when the Fuel tank on my papers read 3/4 of a gallon and the truck was returned with 3/4 of a tank of gas?Bryan R.
This location is very professionally run and if you go there and they say you're going to have a piece of equipment they always have had what I was looking to rent. The manager Cody is very friendly and very professional as are all the young men that work for him. Every time I go in there either to drop off a piece of equipment or pick one up somebody is out with the hose spraying and washing the trucks down and cleaning the inside I will always rent from this location as long as it is run like this which I'm assuming as long as Cody the manager is there it will beMICHAEL L.

General Manager Cody Carns is hands down the best u-Haul representative that I have ever met. I made a mistake and was charged for 10 days on a 1 day trailer rental and this man was running the entire location by himself and was completely overloaded with customers. I told him to take care of the other customers since my issue would take longer and I observed this gentleman professionally dominate every step of the rental process for 3-4 people with a smile and nothing but courtesy. My issue was resolved and I am beyond thankful, but more importantly I know that this man needs to be recognized for his efforts and U-Haul needs to make it a priority to get Cody a team together. No matter if he was content in running a company by himself, it weighs on a man. Bravo to Cody Carns! I appreciate your integrity and I hope your company will see this review. Thank you sir! I rented a 6'x12' trailer, and while part my fault for not checking, the loading ramp is not even 5ft wide (assumption on my part that it would be close to 6ft. All in all, I rented it for the weekend, and did not use it, so I returned it the same as if left minus some miles on it. The trailer is very sturdy and well built. It had something spilled all of it, but I took pictures and I'm sure it was documented. 2 of the tires kept me on edge as the outside edges were less for wear. With no spare, it wouldn't be a great time "waiting" for someone to come and change it. If there's no spare I wouldn't liked to seen the tires in better shape. All and all, I would ask that the employee point out that ramp is "not" 6ft or even 5ft. and highlight it on the website. The trailer did perform, however with no spare and the tire tread almost bald on the outside tires.Keith O.

Not sure why I had trouble pulling down and up on the rear door. It got stuck and I had to call the emergency number for assistance. After 45 min, the pull latch began to work again. I had to get a friend to assist me to get this to work. Very frustrating at 10:00pm to be stuck.Alechia D.

I believe the whole staff is new. Not fully trained so here is that. The galvanized motorcycle trailer has a super slippery at the bottom lip and the whole center rib was super slippery. I about tipped the bike over because when I applied the front brake on cycle it slid to the back of trailer. Also when I loaded it the back tire spun on the slippery ramp lip. Solution would be......apply some grip tape down in the ribs and a patch of it on tailgate lip.james W.

I’ve been in a long time U-Haul buyer I am using renting trucks from you guys I drove a truck from Florida and piggyback from Tampa to Clearwater Michigan had a little difficulty what’s the tires it was a brand new truck they took me from Tampa to Georgia two days cause the tires One tire had a bad bleed and your balance is off balance .I call made A guy come out and change it he said your front end is off alignment I it from Middle of Georgia to Clearwater Michigan and one day and I had to go to Dewitt Michigan because your U-Haul place was on 27th in Lansing. I tented a storage unit and truck bcuz I had 24 hours to get my belongings from my current residence. I paid for the storage specifically ask the gentleman before I left if the storage would be unlocked before I got back because U-Haul lock was on it and he said yes he would take care of that. This was 2 hours before they close I come back with a whole entire load out of my house and the lock was still on it oh, they were already closed oh, so I couldn't drop my belongings off to go back and get the rest of my things. The next morning I waited over 3 hours just to find out that this door is rented was already rented and it took me another two hours to find a new storage. Why I got a new storage I do not know because I lost all my belongings because I didn't get them out of my current residence in enough time. So out of my entire house all I got was the things from the shed. And I also only got a refund for the storage unit. Considering I had to pay for the moving truck but yet didn't get to use it because I had nowhere to put my things. When we would go to our unit there would always be an extra lock on our storage unit. There was NEVER ANY REASON FOR IT. We paid for 24 hour access, never did we pay late and the general manager would put the extra lock on our unit so we couldn't get into when we wanted. We would ask the young man that was working and he had no idea why the extra lock. Also when we took our storage elsewhere there was mold all over all my stuff and the floor was wet.
