The signs could be improved to find the self checkout and return drop box. It was very confusing. I tried to use the app but I had to rely on my original email from 2 weeks ago when I made the reservation. Luckily I kept the email and I didn't delete it. I was expecting to use the app from start to end. Once I figured the process it was an easy process. I still didn't find the return drop box so I gave the keys to the staff member. Very difficult to rent a trailer. Logged to my account, made the reservation, selected which credit card I wanted to use. Get to the location and they asked me all the questions I already answered when making the reservation except which trailer I wanted to rent. Very frustrating! They don't have any way to copy a DL. If you can't upload it from your phone your rental is doomed. I can travel 1000's of miles from home, get to National where I made a reservation for a car, select.any car they have, go to the exit, show my DL and drive away. Very easy and hassle free. Locations were great. However; overall experience was a zero. First two pickup locations cancelled and only received one $50 credit when I was told two $50 credits would be applied. With all the pickup location changes, I was forced to pick up three hours late, which forever me to drive thru Downtown Dallas during rush hour, which was awful. I rented a 26 foot truck on July 30th. I had to stay in a hotel and extend my rental because my house was not ready. On the morning of August 2nd, right after I went to work, my entire UHaul truck was stolen with all of my belongings. I purchased the safemove plus coverage and was told by the manager Leo, that my things would be covered. I filed a claim with Repwest and they said the truck would be covered but my items would not because the policy does not cover theft/robbery. You can imagine my frustration as everything I owned outside of a suitcase was in that truck and I was also told when I rented the truck and when I spoke to Leo that everything would be covered. I have gotten no communication directly from UHaul. Nobody cares that I have to completely start over. I'm pregnant and have 2 kids. The amount of stress I have encountered from this experience could have been minimized had the parties involved communicated! The truck was recovered on August 6th, didn't hear from UHaul. The truck was taken to the auto pound but picked up on August 9th. Didn't hear from UHaul. Now I have to figure out whats left on the truck and arrange a time to leave work to go see whats on the truck. The communication is frustrating!! I didn't leave the UHaul unlocked or do anything to make it easily accessible. I even returned the keys! I feel like I'm being blamed and still not receiving the communication I deserve! And on top of it a $700 plus bill? I'll be seeking a lawyer for this situation. It's unacceptable.Lindsay F.

This time my experience with UHAUL was horrible. 1. The UBOX Full service delivery & load was scheduled for 7/22 morning. The moving help pushed that to 12 noon and they had challenges with UHAUL to release the UBOX which delayed the LOAD. The loading of UBOX was completed around 6:30 PM which totally disrupted my schedule. 2. The UBOX Full service delivery & unload was scheduled for 7/28 morning. The moving help reached UHAUL plano on time to pickup the UBOX, but the UBOX was not ready. The moving help was sent back and it was rescheduled for next day. The moving help lost on days labor, gas and I had to pay one additional day for hotel & other connected expenses. When I called UHAUL to show the disappointment I had, the agent was telling that UHAUL & MOVING HELP are 2 different entities and there is NO MAGIC to know moving help is scheduled to pickup UBOX. End of the day moving help lost a days labor and I had to spend more than $200 to reschedule to next day. I will caution all my friends to think twice doing business with UHAUL.Sandeep P.

This is the first time I have ever used U-haul storage. I found the staff friendly and helpful. Moving into my unit I discovered that I needed a second unit and the staff was able to accommodate me. I purchased two locks from U-Haul for my units and each came with two keys. A few weeks later a friend took a set of those keys to remove her items from my units. And she returned the keys to me. When I went to pick up the remaining items in my two units, I discovered that one of the locks would not open and I had to have a lock smith come out to drill out the lock and open the unit. It cost me $308.59 to open that unit. I was upset and I admit I was not very pleasant to the employees at U-Haul. However, the store manager, Leonardo Aguilu Carrion, did refund to me $50.00 for the "lock mix up". I don't understand why that lock would not open - when it HAD opened earlier.
