The wait was long. The service was not professional and a bit shady.
PASCALE IBetter communication within the office. Equipment that I reserved was not available. The truck had to be cleaned out last minute. The check engine light was on before I left the property and It was not communicated that the truck was marking the engine due to the A/C ahead of time. My contract was not closed the day of drop off and I received a notification that I had equipment checked out past the expiration. I also have not received my refund for the dolly that was not provided and the mileage that I did not use.

RAYVONN SGet more professional employees. One employee was decent to me when I returned the truck, but everyone else was rude and very unprofessional. A dog was tied behind the counter ALL day. I'm assuming someone took him out when I wasn't there, but the dog was there I came in the morning and still there that evening. The poor thing was so bored it was chewing a piece of paper. Another thing is now the customer has to do all the work. Upload license, take pictures of the truck, check mileage and gas, etc. I mean I see the benefits of some of that but I would think that might be challenging for some. Bottom line... NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

cecilia a | Overall ExperienceVerify gas reading. The truck I had showed an eighth less. When manually change it, system would not accept picture to update it. Inside back of truck, I did not inspect. When got to destination, open back, hit with strong smell of fish. Had to lysol the crap out of it several times before getting rid of smell. Also when first started up truck, engine light was on. Took service guy 20 minutes before coming over to check the codes before giving the ok to continue to take truck. Over all time to obtain truck, just under an hour.
THOMAS PMy original reservations were jacked up, had to go to this location due to it. It was a mess and I had to pay out an extra $280 for just the time it took with them sitting for a few hours until it all got sorted out. The gentleman at the store and the wonderful lady in the phone that got me the new reservation had great customer service and very grateful for them! I’m part owner of an hvac company and have to Use your services through our business accounts, I’m considering to never use U-Haul ever again due to this mess. PEGGY WI am extremely dissatisfied with my U-Haul experience not at the Florida Avenue location but overall since the call center reserved a 15 foot truck and a 15 foot trailer for me to tow a Chevy Silverado 1500 pick up truck back to Orlando and the equipment was not adequate to tow my vehicle. I drove two hours from Orlando to Tampa to pick up these two pieces of equipment at two different locations and I’m extremely angry and frustrated that I was not able to execute on, towing my son truck home. I am expecting someone from U-Haul to call me to confirm a refund of all charges. My phone number is 407–7 18–4587. I have been a U-Haul customer for several decades and I’m so frustrated right now that I am considering not using U-Haul in the future. I look forward to speaking to someone from U-Haul.
David CIt was a great experience from start to finish. I called to make a reservation and the phone attendant was friendly and helpful. I arrived 5 minutes later and the staff in the building helped me in a funny and personable way - so much that I asked if they were hiring because they were having so much fun while helping people! Such a joyous vibe in the building. Overall, service was quick and friendly. Even the dude was super nice when I returned the truck.

CHARLES PYou overcharged me for the truck again. I dropped that vehicle off the same day at 330 And the location was closed when it was supposed to be opened and the customer service told me to leave the truck anyway. Now you say I didn't stop it off till morning bullshit. Also I did not go anywhere with that truck except directly to the other location. Your mileage is wrong. Iyou overcharged me last time too saying that I didn't have a one way rental which I did. You guys are scam artists. Either give me my money back or I'm getting an attorney. Frauds

She was moody, rude, and just made my experience so horrible despite me not saying much to her you could tell she had personal problems going on and taking them all out on me. Which is horrible because i literally didn’t say much to her and little did she know I was effected by the hurricane so I really was depending on the use of the U-Haul to relocate my family and I. I really would appreciate if she had better training because she really made my experience horrible and left a poor taste in my mouth for U-Haul as a company

KEERTHI RCustomer support? This was by far -10 rating for the worst customer experience that I would always remember. After waiting about 33 maybe 35 minutes to get too the counter, I finally finished getting though that ordeal. Now with the keys to the truck, I go outside searching for truck and guess what...no one to be founded. I see a lady sitting in her personal vehicle smoking. I asked " Do you work here?" She hesitate to respond with the cigarette in her mouth with the ashes hanging from the cigarette. She finally said "Yes" I asked " could you help me find truck # 16459" ...she gets out of her personal vehicle with the cigarette in her mouth to assist me with Vaseline on here arm. What a scene. Now I'm walking behind her smelling a trail of smoke. She insisted to continue smoking while helping me find the vehicle. Another gentleman showed up and pointed to the front of the building " look over there" this gentleman said he couldn't help me because he was on the phone with his mother. Now after trying to complete the truck inspection. I couldn't shut the passenger door. After opening the door, the truck was parked so close to the adjacent truck the door got wedge to the bed of the truck next to the truck assigned. I was able to drive over the curve in front of me to unwedge the passenger door. Terrible experience...period.
CARLTON BI received late notices 3 of the 4 months I used the facility despite setting up autopay initially. It was frustrating to have to go in to office to get it addressed and then it happen again. Other than that, a fine experience.

DAN BThis was the most ridiculous experience I've ever had. This is not the fault of the location tied to this survey. I reserved a van online only to find out the location I was given didn't have any available vehicles. I was sent to another nearby location that was closed at noon on a Saturday evening though hours posted were until 5pm. Using your website I was able to locate another vehicle and drive to a 3rd location to find they also don't have any vehicles available. Finally the location on Florida Ave was able to accommodate and they were great. Fix your online system and stop making customers drive all over the city for hours wasting time. I would've rather been told no vehicles were available and tried another day. Based on this experience, I will not recommend uhaul to a friend. Nothing against the store. They were great. I will not recommend uhaul because they can't seem to get inventory on a website to show properly and allow reservations to get booked when there are no vehicles available.

(813) 935-6217 I had horrible experience dropping of the car towing dolly - the person there declined to take it saying there is no space, whereas there was space available. He offered me to take my doily for $20 fee because it is "not his job" and it is "up to him to help me or not" - can you believe that. I had to drop it off at N Florida, which was was great. I suggest that you close the 11106 N location or have another person working there, because the one currently simply declines to do the job.

No forth coming when I asked questions. And mislead me on the fuel & milage which caused me to loose my deposit and more I will never visit this location or Uhaul again without my lawyer

HENRY AGas tank on my rental truck was on EMPTY. First thing I had to do was find a gas station before I completely ran out and got stuck. Suggest you have a policy to make sure there's a quarter of a tank of gas MINIMUM before renting one of your units. Otherwise, all personnel were terrific! Highly recommend this location... I've been renting from here for years!

The bathroom was dirty and never had toilet paper or paper towels, I’m sure it was because of the homeless. When I was moving out I met Donna who was extremely rude and terribly unfriendly. I went to the office to explain that we tried both cards and that the panel "sounded" like it worked but the gate wouldn't open and that I thought it was a problem with the gate. The woman I spoke with was only half listening as she was busy watching someone on her phone. Her solution was to issue me two new cards. As expected, those cards also did not work. I went back to the office. This time speaking to a different woman, who after having to explain my situation to twice, went it to the "entrance" gate and said "the gate works!". I had to tell her AGAIN that it was the exit gate that was the problem. She then went inside and used the computer to open the gate. This was very frustrating! I really hope the EXIT gate issue gets fixed. Thank you! This was not a good first impression.
