When I dropped off the trailer had to call in the first location I talked to told me they were full so do not think I d trust him since I did not drive by, the second location I found was not even there so the third location I called and heard the UHaul greeting on the call so I just drove there, got a really nice guy to take my trailer and told me that someone will reach out to me if there was any trouble or charges and I will get a email or text if so, but I never got a message text or call at least not form that location,
I returned my trailer one day earlier since I just needed to dropp of few things I drove from home and when I first got the trailer the guy at the pick up location on hollywood told me I could drop it off at any location I wanted in tampa, so I did but I got a message from some location in tampa to coordinate my trailer dropoff and I explain that I had just dropped it off and she told me that I had to drop it off to her location so I went back to the location where I drop off my trailer earlier and my trailer was still there few hours later and no one had checked a thing and was never checked in so I had to explain the whole thing to a new set of people and finally they got it checked in and gave me a $0 invoice and after many calls and driving through tampa looking for a place to drop the trailer off then I was able to finally say it was done.

The location was close to where I live and had everything I needed for my move. A big parking lot for all the trucks to park. It was easy to find where my truck was. I definitely recommend this place for all your moving and storage needs, as well as a good price for a rental truck.

The U-Haul trailer had rope, a rag, and cardboard boxes left in it. It was not checked to ensure it was ready for the next customer. I did take care of disposing these items. Using the U-Haul app is a very disappointing experience. Cell reception is poor in that area. Photos are slow to upload. The app is slow to refresh pages. Despite using the app, you still have to go inside to get the keys. The keys for this vehicle were difficult to find, requiring the staff to help. U-Haul’s customer service is better dealing directly with store personnel, and worse and unacceptable using the app.

I think uhual should reevaluate their services. First off prices are misleading. You see prices everywhere of “rent me for $39.99” or whatever the price is but I’m not sure what that prices is because you end up paying $200. Mileage should be calculated in, I gave my starting allocation and drop off location and I was given 41 miles which was clearly not going to be enough which forced me to pay another $20 on top of the $200 for the extra 20 miles I drove, I didn’t go anywhere else except from start to finish so my mileage should’ve been covered. I already paid to rent it for a few hours, $220 is not a budget friendly service in my mind. For that price I will go get a Penske truck which is newer and cleaner and has better amenities.

I rented a truck and a tow dolly. I told them I wanted the lowest level of insurance on the truck and no insurance on the tow dolly. When reviewing the paperwork for the tow dolly I was surprised to see I was charged $ 40.00 for “safe tow coverage”. I was disappointed to find out I was charged for insurance I had previously declined.

Have all equipment at the location when a reservation has been made online in advance. Do not automatically charge for insurance at the location when I have not included it in my reservation as I already have insurance. This is called PADDING the bill and if not illegal, should be. Train employees to have a more positive helpful attitude instead of acting like their failure to plan, for my two-day advanced reservation, is MY fault. Provide a credit to customers who have to drive to another UHaul location to pick up equipment that was not available at location where the reservation was made online.

Went to the place that was scheduled originally at 7:30 Am on Saturday, That store does not open on Saturday. The assistant from Uhaul could have cared less. We were sent to a second location and were told to go inside and get the keys. That location told us it doesnt work that way and that we need to get our key out of the outdoor lockbox. Uhaul could not find us the code for the padlock and once they did they padlock was rusted shut. We finally got it open, no key. We were then told we needed to go to a third location to get out truck. When we arrived the line was long, took them 20 minutes per customer, so we waited for an hour. The girl working there was overwhelmed and in a very poor mood, she was more frustrated than we were which we thought was not possible. By the time we got our truck it was 3 hours after our original rental time and we had paid hundreds of dollars to moving personnel that just waited around. We were told a manager would call us to assist with a refund and to hear us out. No manager called. You should change your business form moving houses to moving garbage because that is what your company has become. God awful experience and not one soul reaches out to take care of the customer. Meanwhile we are out of hundreds of dollars. Go to another truck rental service or use task rabbit, much better experiences.

I have been renting equipment from this location for the past 5 years; I've always had great experiences with the equipment and the customer service overall, that is why I kept coming back, bringing my business over here but today was like I walked into a totally different place; the person who I met this morning was very rude, he refused to assist with the reservation process, he was very confrontational to the point that made me feel unsafe, I almost left the facility but luckily before I did it, a lady walked from the back side probably after she heard his loud voice and his rude manners.
I was able to complete my rent thanks to her but I'm definitely not coming back to this place, his challenging gestures outside the office made me think twice before I had to walk to the truck that was on the middle of the yard, I was afraid and nervous, my blood pressure went high maybe because of the emotional disgust.

Staff made it in terribly difficult for anything. Then like the time they wasted mine. I expected better service. And had to wait 3 days to get access to my locker. Change the locks of mine more than once. And as a loyal customer still felt unappreciated.

I could never go there by myself because of the homeless people I kept seeing in there. The bathroom was dirty and never had toilet paper or paper towels, I’m sure it was because of the homeless. When I was moving out I met Donna who was extremely rude and terribly unfriendly. Other than all of that the unit was clean just not safe.

Once in the location dropping if my items, we were unable to get out of the exit gate. I went to the office to explain that we tried both cards and that the panel "sounded" like it worked but the gate wouldn't open and that I thought it was a problem with the gate. The woman I spoke with was only half listening as she was busy watching someone on her phone. Her solution was to issue me two new cards. As expected, those cards also did not work. I went back to the office. This time speaking to a different woman, who after having to explain my situation to twice, went it to the "entrance" gate and said "the gate works!". I had to tell her AGAIN that it was the exit gate that was the problem. She then went inside and used the computer to open the gate. This was very frustrating! I really hope the EXIT gate issue gets fixed. Thank you! This was not a good first impression.

I had an issue with the card, trying to get in. Several times was given a new one and still didn’t work was given a new code. It still didn’t work until finally the young lady gave me her own code so I could actually use it to get in I would call the office I Was always referred to customer service. So I believe that should improve. I wasted literally 30 minutes of my time to be able to get into the storage complex. Thank you.

I rented a " drive to" unit. It was so convenient to drive next to it and unload. The entry security card made you feel safe. I had an item that was not manageable to unload without the help of a handtruck device, and they loaned me one to unload that item. Everyone was so kind and helpful.

You have a sign that is misleading on pricing. It says a 10 by 10 is either $119.95 per month or $134.95. My statement shows $139.95. When I asked Will why the $5 upcharge, he asked the manager. I was told because the unit I have is 9 feet high, and others are 5 less due to their heights. That is a classic bait and switch tactic. The sign should show exact sizes for the exact amounts.

Chris was quick, friendly, and efficient. After I realized that the largest unit was too small, I went back in and told Rosario my dilemma. I advised her of the truck size and what I needed. People that work at the counter at your facility start talking to customers when checking them in or out and stay talking throughout the check in or out process which takes them way longer and customers having to wait longer because their talking about them going to school together and everything else all which takes longer and customers having to wait longer especially when there's only one person working the counter, and yes the employee that day was slow,rude and this place is terrible for business I think they need to fire everyone and get all new staff,and yes I have been toand used this location many times but No more ! Dayna was ABSOLUTELY the BEST! Upon check in we arrived very close to closing time, by the time we checked in Uhaul was closed and had issues with my pass code. I had to go through Uhaul.com which was a nightmare. Dayna then calls me from her personal phone, after hours to assist in my password not working. Every time I need to speak to somebody about my storage unit they could never pull up the m25 unit no matter what we did but every month I had to make that payment and got the late fees if I didn't have it in by the 17th. Even the very next day after moving out and I went to go turn in the truck that I rented they still cannot find my information that I moved out of the unit m25. Then on the day we did rent the truck which was the 16th the young man was in the office by himself trying to handle at least 12 customers at 4:53 pm.But I feel like because everything was a rush situation he didn't understand I was looking for a one-way versus having to drop it back off in Tampa. Then after realizing he gave me the one way he said he had absolutely no one way rentals at this location even in bigger trucks but I just feel like he was just trying to rush really quickly so that he can handle the other customers in the building.

I only have a few problems:
1. The unit is listed as 9' high, but I don't have use of 9' due to pipes and a red line on the wall as a warning, that should be provided before renting the unit.
2. There are not enough carts in case multiple people are there loading/unloading. I went there to unload and a group had both carts, leaving nothing for anyone else.
3. People leave carts wherever they please, so they are not always in the front.

Staff was friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was that the biggest unit 10x10 was only 6ft high. I just moved to Florida and don’t know the area, I had all of my belongings with me. If I wasn’t on such a time crunch or hadn’t gotten rid of most of my big stuff I would have had to go to a different storage place. Because it wouldn’t have fit. I was very disappointed in that. C

I sold me had to be cut off by a locksmith before I could move in it cost me extra $200 with the mover because of the delay and $100 for the locksmith. No one would come over to the unit and help me. One month after I moved in I got a email saying I had the inappropriate lock I was locked out of my storage unit. And I just recently got another email telling them it's urgent I need to contact them they didn't like the way I locked my unit. Will never rent from U-Haul truck or a storage unit again

I reserve a unit at one location, when I arrive, they said its not available, they send me to another location that had a 10x10 unit. Which was further away, meanwhile I rented a uhaul truck prior which increased my mileage and expenses. I was on Budget and it through me off.. I shouldn't have to pay for extra mileage/gas/fees when I scheduled accordingly to my home. I should get refunded. 862 201 9322 if u can call me if this is possible..

The young lady who assisted me was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I had Never rented a storage unit before. I had Many questions which she knew all the answers. The unit itself was clean. I did see a rat container thingy to capture rodents as soon as I stepped in the unit. It definitely wasn't something I expected. But I guess I should be glad they have it. I am very satisfied with my unit and the cleanliness of the entire site.

I made my reservation almost a month ago and when I arrived at the location, I was first informed the computers were down and I had to wait roughly one hour for them to come back up. When they finally came back up I was informed by the shift manager, there were no storage units available. I attempted to contact the store manager, but had no response. I next tried to contacted the GM from my cell a couple times to hopefully have the issue resolved, but no luck. I next attempted to call the GM from the store phone and she answered. I explained to her my situation, and she informed me she would make a call to the manager on shift, but never did. The GM was no help at all and never contacted me back to give me an update. Luckily one of the gentleman at the store noticed how frustrated I was because I was waiting for an hour for the computers to come back up and to then be informed there was no storage available. I also had a trailer to return and limited time and he luckily found me another storage unit. This was by far the worst UHAUL experience yet. Only good news was the gentleman on shift came through in the end!!!

There were a couple of issues with my reservation. I booked the 1st week of July. However, when I arrived for my check-in I was told the storage unit I booked wasn’t available. The unit I was given in replacement was smaller then I booked. At the end of the day I was still able to fit my things miraculously. The store was able to rectify the situation at the end of the day as well. The associates at this location were super understanding and helpful but the process could of been smoother.

The reason for this rating is because i made my reservation three weeks before my arrival. When I got there the front person said they can see my reservation was made on 7-12-2021 but someone gave the stroage to someone else. So I was ask to return the next Day because the manager was all ready gone and they didn't had any storage available. To make the story short I'm not a happy camper

It is far too difficult for me to climb stairs with heavy items in a non-climate controlled unit. That is my fault for agreeing to a first available unit on the second floor. An elevator may help a lot of people.

Although the staff was helpful, the situation was a disaster. I made a reservation on line for the biggest storage unit and when I got there the storage unit I reserved was already occupied. This caused me to have to get a smaller unit which makes my life more hectic than it already is, due to having to pull everything out each time I want something out of the unit. Not only that every time I book something with Uhaul the name that shows up on my reservation which is not my name but it is all my information every time the staff has to go in and fix it so it can reflect my name. It would seem as though it could be permanently fixed by now but it is not.

I was giving the wrong unit twice, both in which I moved in and had to move out within a hour. Then I was told to go to another location. When I tried to leave my gate code didn't work. When I finally got out of the gate and arrived at the next facility, my coffee didn't work to get into the facility. By this time the physical office had closed, so I was forced to keep the Uhaul over night because I did not have access to a storage unit.

The storage facility was clean and well maintained and easily accessible. But the representative I worked with to check in was a bit rude when I explained that I already had a disk lock and did not need to purchase one. Additionally I was a bit confused with the insurance. I added it on for my first month and asked if I could take it off for the second to save a bit of money since for the second "month" as I will only be in the unit for three additional days. At this point I was told the insurance was mandatory even though it is billed as optional when I selected the unit online. It's completely fine if I need to have the insurance I was just a bit confused as that was the first time I heard it referred to as required.

I felt cheated by a unit with steel column taking up approx 4 square feet in almost dead center of my floor and was given a paltry discount which took 3 months to finally be given. And then when I was I think 6 days late moving out they tried to charge me for an entire month. Then Katrina told me to talk to Marcus to settle it , he gave me a price of half a month , a week more than I used , and then they sent me a bill for another half month even after I moved out a week before the half month I paid for . My worst experience with U Haul in over 50 years of dealing with them .

Ive had a good experience, but find your $10 a month fee for 24hr access steep n inconveinent. Perhaps allow for 3 after hours visits a month before a fee is leveied or similar.

Delivery of u-boxes was not on time as promised.
Office person stated was “too busy” to return my calls and “didn’t have the number of the delivery driver.” It cost me $135 due to 5 1/2
delay!!

This facility was great. The store I rented my trailer in grapevine was not it’s on William D Tate. I filled a complaint and after several calls they didn’t resolve my complaint. So sad!!!

So thanks for spamming my email with 136 emails for this review ._. Waited 3HOURS for the manager to get my box UBox. ONE guy in lobby did EVERYTHING. Manager rude & unhelpful. Jock was the real hero.
