I got charged a $20 after hour service fee. My rental wasn't due back until 12pm Tuesday. I returned it around 8:30pm Monday. I logged on the uhauls site to return, and it was not letting it go through because of the privacy on my IOS. I turned off my privacy and it still wasn't going thru. It also shows that they received the keys at 7:04am Tuesday morning, so I clearly returned my keys before time. I would like my $20 refund because I complied with everything I was supposed to on my end. Please let me know when my $20 refund has been refunded to my card. Thank youEUGENE W.

On 10/11/21 I rented a 15' truck. The return of this rental was WORSE Experience of my life!!!MARY S.
I specifically asked about returning a trailer after hours and anything I needed to know because I've never returned a trailer late, only trucks. I was told, and I quote, â€œjust leave it on the side of the building where you can marked equipment returns.â€ I asked if there was anything else I needed to know or do and was told no. I got charged $20 extra for doing that. Thanks for not telling me WHEN I ASKED SPECIFICALLY that there was an extra charge which was 30% more than the daily rental.John K.

I sold me had to be cut off by a locksmith before I could move in it cost me extra $200 with the mover because of the delay and $100 for the locksmith. No one would come over to the unit and help me. One month after I moved in I got a email saying I had the inappropriate lock I was locked out of my storage unit. And I just recently got another email telling them it's urgent I need to contact them they didn't like the way I locked my unit. Very disappointed with the customer service offered at this location, no common sense used. They made me struggle finding a place to drop off the truck in the middle of the night at my final destination because they did not provide me with a drop off location. I rented a one-way truck but they in the system rented an in-town truck which created a nightmare. If they would've listened to me when I told them I needed a one-way truck things would've been different. They told me to call 800-go-U-Haul to find a location near me, which no one answers after hours. After calling that number many times, dealing with a loop menu finally someone answers the phone around 11:30pm and can't help me find a drop off location. This was ridiculous. I've rented enough trucks from U-Haul to understand their process and I knew from the beginning that something didn't add up. I googled locations near me, and I dropped off truck at a nearby location with a drop off box. The next morning I called U-Haul to let them know, the customer service representative on the phone was super friendly and helpful, no big deal she said all is good. The next day I've got a call from another person at U-Haul stating that dropping off the truck at that location wasn't authorized and I have to physically go there and remove to a different location, or I'll be charged more money. Of course I didn't fall for that and fought back. All this non sense could've been avoided if they would've done their job from the beginning. Too stressful for no reason. Use common sense people, common sense that's all I ask.JORGE L.

One employee refused to do 1 more hook up of a trailer because he was going home. The people that checked me out called me 20 minutes after asking me to come back because they forgot to check me out (I was already on the interstate). Don't know too much aggravation. People on the phone seems to lie about what u-have and they don't, I asked for a 10x by 15x storage space and Quinton took the information for this and when I got there I was told that you don't have it and was shown the setup of the difference between a 10x 10 and 10x15 charged for something they didn't have too too many lies, frustrated my day the storage room is too small that I had to settle for never again too too many lies as if they are trained to lie to customers. Whenever I get out of this storage room I'm renting, this business was bad for me never again.GENA B.

I reserve a unit at one location, when I arrive, they said its not available, they send me to another location that had a 10x10 unit. Which was further away, meanwhile I rented a uhaul truck prior which increased my mileage and expenses. I was on Budget and it through me off.. I shouldn't have to pay for extra mileage/gas/fees when I scheduled accordingly to my home. I should get refunded. 862 201 9322 if u can call me if this is possible.. If the location doesn't want equipment returned after hours they should not accept reservations or post a disclaimer saying they can't accept equipment after hours instead of charging you extra as you return the equipment. Especially when it's in the allotted rental window.ALFREDO P.

This was the filthiest piece of equipment I have ever rented from U-Haul. In addition both seats were covered with some kind of animal hair, when I got out from my shoulders to my legs covered in animal hair - it was not a good experience Uhaul. The young lady who assisted me was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I had Never rented a storage unit before. I had Many questions which she knew all the answers. The unit itself was clean. Old truck and one windshield wiper blade fell off during a heavy rain in an area there is nothing. I almost had a car accident.FRANCISCO R.
Truck was clean inside the cabin but the truck itself had some problems. The low air pressure in the tires light remained on the whole trip. The left turn signal was falling out of the slot. They had to tape it in. The gas level was not the same on the paper then it was inside the truck. And most troubling thing was the alignment was off and I had to fight the steering from pulling to the right. If I let go of the wheel the truck went to the right big time.GEROGINE D.

I made my reservation almost a month ago and when I arrived at the location, I was first informed the computers were down and I had to wait roughly one hour for them to come back up. When they finally came back up I was informed by the shift manager, there were no storage units available. I attempted to contact the store manager, but had no response. I next tried to contacted the GM from my cell a couple times to hopefully have the issue resolved, but no luck. I next attempted to call the GM from the store phone and she answered. I explained to her my situation, and she informed me she would make a call to the manager on shift, but never did. The GM was no help at all and never contacted me back to give me an update. Luckily one of the gentleman at the store noticed how frustrated I was because I was waiting for an hour for the computers to come back up and to then be informed there was no storage available. I also had a trailer to return and limited time and he luckily found me another storage unit. This was by far the worst UHAUL experience yet. There were a couple of issues with my reservation. I booked the 1st week of July. However, when I arrived for my check-in I was told the storage unit I booked wasn’t available. The unit I was given in replacement was smaller then I booked. At the end of the day I was still able to fit my things miraculously. The store was able to rectify the situation at the end of the day as well. It is far too difficult for me to climb stairs with heavy items in a non-climate controlled unit. That is my fault for agreeing to a first available unit on the second floor. Although the staff was helpful, the situation was a disaster. I made a reservation on line for the biggest storage unit and when I got there the storage unit I reserved was already occupied. This caused me to have to get a smaller unit which makes my life more hectic than it already is, due to having to pull everything out each time I want something out of the unit. Not only that every time I book something with Uhaul the name that shows up on my reservation which is not my name but it is all my information every time the staff has to go in and fix it so it can reflect my name. I was giving the wrong unit twice, both in which I moved in and had to move out within a hour. Then I was told to go to another location. When I tried to leave my gate code didn't work. When I finally got out of the gate and arrived at the next facility, my coffee didn't work to get into the facility.
