I was supposed to pick up the truck at 6:30 am. I received a call from U-haul the day before saying it would 7:30. When we got there they said there were no trucks. It was so stressful because we already hired help on both ends of the move. We finally did get a truck at 9am. The truck had personal belongings and trash from the last user. It was so stinky and disgusting. Our hired help had to clear it out first which took about 30 minutes for two men to do. Then I had to pay someone $150 to haul it off. It was really an awful experience. I had to pay the helpers an extra $200 to stay later to get it unloaded.Harold E.

When a customer also has a rental storage unit for a period of time with you they should be accommodated with a pro rated amount upon renting another truck to vacate the unit. I paid $171.00 for my monthly payment for a rental unit, moved out of the unit within 10 days having to pay another $100 for another truck and millage, plus gas when I still had over 20days of credit left for the remainder of the month. And I'm sure the unit was re-rented again for the full amount. Terrible way to do business. Otherwise great service.Brittany S.

I had declined Safe Move left and right when making my reservation and during pick up, only to see that it was charged on my receipt. That, and I was charged for 9 gallons of fuel when we only drove 37 miles. Really not impressed with this location right now.Jordan L.
I actually didn't know this location existed and was directed here because they had a trailer available and the location closest to me didn't. The location closest to me didn't always have the nicest people so I wasn't sure what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. The facility is clean, organized and despite being short of staff (like most people nowadays) the service was also friendly and efficient. We will be coming back to this facility for future needsJennifer S.

Our case may be special and a little out the ordinary. We needed the truck to store items while other items were being packed up. This means that the truck was parked for most of the rental period, which means that there was very little chance of being damaged during the non-driving period. Hence, it would have been nice if we had the option of insuring the truck against damage for only the days that we drove the truck.Loren W.

The one lady and the men were very friendly and very helpful they went out of their way to help me I came in around 4:30 PM this past Sunday and I came back about 6:30 PM on Mondays this is the first time that I have rented a cargo van and I love it this was already my neighborhood U-Haul and I will keep it that wayHugh B.

We were unable to complete self-check in to pick up our rental truck, and we had to wait until the store opened to be able to pick up. The after hours phone service was unable to help with the check in process over the phone. We had scheduled and hired movers to assist us with loading based on our allotted pick up time. With the self-check in server down, this put us behind schedule and risk of paying for extra hour fees for our hired moving help.Myriah A.

I realize this location is short staffed. Even though I had a reservation, it took much longer to pick up the equipment than expected. The lady and young man who had just started working there, were very helpful. It took numerous calls over two days to receive confirmation that the trailer was indeed returned at the proper time. Again, this was due to lack of staff. Overall, the trailer was exactly what we needed, was in excellent condition, and served its purpose. This location has a great selection of equipment, but just needs more help and management.Janelle H.

The process to return vehicles/equipment overnight is quite arduous and hard to navigate. I was told to sign up on the app to return early overnight. However, the app could not sync my reservation and my account. If I had not remembered that there was a link in my reservation email that had steps to return the vehicle, I would have had to add more miles to my rental by driving all the way home and back to the location in the morning.Latoyia M.
Everything went well. But, they had a full line when I checked out so I accepted an email receipt. The receipt should not have had a $7.88 refueling charge. The gas station is only 1/2 mile away and I put the gas level back to the same spot. There should be no charge!! Thanks Dan LightfootDAN L.

I was give a truck with 99,XXX miles to make a one way trip from Ohio to Maryland. Each time I had to stop and re-start the truck, it was harder and harder to turn over. Due to the fear of it not starting, I skipped making stops which created un-needed stress and anxiety.Jacob S.

Opening Front desk associate (tats on hand) was very helpful, informed and upstanding with the check in and check out process. I reserved a van online and submitted credit card info and everything they needed. When I picked up the van, I was asked to vocally give my credit card info to the agent behind a acrylic shield. I said I had already gave that info online and he said he didn't have access to it. This practice is very unsettling and lacks privacy. For that reason, I'll rent elsewhere.Thomas B.

The location was advertised as 24hr return location but there was no key drop box. I spent 45 min going around looking for it and then another 30 min to talk to a U-haul representative on the phone, who finally told me to leave the key under the driver seat and lock the door. The day after they call me from this location asking why I left the key inside. Very disappointing return. Also (not related to this location), the U-haul app does not work when I tried to upload the pictures. The browser version worked but the Android app doesn't...please fix!marco B.

Excellent agents at all locations we used. We rented three trucks and one cargo van this August 2021 as we moved two children to college and relocated ourselves to a different city. ALL the rentals went smoothly from check in to check out. Recommend 100%. Our storage unit in Columbus on E. 5th street was very clean, easily accessible, prepared with a lock and key. That was subsequently changed and I returned the truck to a different location. While the storage unit location worked out the rest of the online Uhaul process was awful. The only issue I had was with the billing account system. The way it displays your payments/balance is not user-friendly. When looking at the balance column, it shows dollar balances in parenthesis. In any other system, that would mean that there is a credit on your account, but not theirs. That was a bit inconvenient because I had to take the time to try and figure it out and then email my question to the location's GM, Erin. The truck was all over the road. It needs an alignment ASAP!!! I was told by a man named Fred that the entire process time would be 7-10 minutes. It took 50 minutes for me to get the truck and storage unit. The staff needs to be thoroughly crossed train... The the unit door would not slide back to open, so I called an employee to help me to get the door open, and by the time he got back to the unit, I had managed to get it open and unload my car...
