I had to drive to El Paso TX ( 1 hour away to get a trailer) because Las Cruces ,NM didn't had any. Then I had to drive another hour away to take it back. This is the only complaint that I had. Everything else was easy went as planed and the trailer was good.
Everything went real smooth. I was in and out of there within 20 minutes. They hooked the trailer and made sure everything was working properly . Great job !!
Rented a moving truck asked the customer service worker which would be a better choice for our move. The gentle man picked the most expensive and difficult choice in renting a truck. He also didn't explain our contract. When my husband picked up the uhaul they had informed him that they had contacted me about all the details and that he just needed to sign saying he picked it up I was never contacted. They charged us different fees regarding the fuel service that they had never told us or explained to us. When contacting them they said it was in the contract that I had never received and that they never contacted me about.
Oscar was an excellent informative and friendly employee. The truck was super clean and just what we needed to make our moving go smoothly. The best part was the price and self check in at night. Thank you U-haul for everything you do for millions of folk's like me who are making a move an easier experience!
when I visited the facility I was greeted and staff was friendly.
The truck we rented had an issue with the alignment which caused it to be very difficult to steer during the 8 hour drive. I also realized much later when finally turning on the a/c during my drive, that my vent did not work and that the passenger door sounded fine driving under 40 mph but once on the road going 50+, the door sounded like it wasn't even closed with air coming through the crack (had to put packing tape to help) I have called customer service several times to notify them and 2 months later, I still haven't heard back from them.
The Uhaul website isn't worth much: couldn't rent from where I wanted even though it said I could. Couldn't leave the truck where I wanted even though it said I could. All the subsequent rearranging changed the drop off date. Kept adding the dolly/cart even though I repeatedly declined it. Placing the blankets and dolly in the back puts it in the way. Need to look at the final charge to see if I ended up paying for it and the extra miles and day even though you said I wouldn't.
Was told I needed to have a lease or utility bill in order to rent a truck. I have rented several times from here and never was told this before. There are no signs stating this was a requirement. Nothing in the U-Haul website stated this either as I set up the rental. I drove all the way home and when I returned with the utility bill, the agent didn't even look at the utility bill. I drove home for no reason. The fuel level was also incorrect not in my favor when I rented as well. Terrible experience.

I had the truck reserved on pellicano for my move in Horizon , but was sent 20 miles away to pick up in the north east . Was not honored the $50 guarantee . Fix your reservation system. 84 miles should been around 40 for my move.$162 total , double what my move should've come out to, ouch! Get some heat up in this bitch!

you guys can fufill the reservation ON TIME. not 7 hours late. PEOPLE HAVE THINGS RESERVED AND RENTED AND CANT JUST SHIFT EVERYTHING A WHOLE DAY WHEN MOVING ACROSS STATE LINES DURING A FUCKING PANDEMIC. too bad by the time this happens, youre fucked cuz nobody else will rent you anything last minute. $1300 dollars for a bullshit ass experience. luckily the truck didnt break down

They could have cleaned up the truck before renting it out. The window was completely dirty. There was trash from the previous renter in the front cabin. When I got to my final destination, I found old food boxes on the floor under the seat.
I was highly upset that I spent almost $500 to rent the vehicle and upon my return I was told by the receiving employee to move the vehicle to the precise return location under the canopy. He then proceeded to tell me that there was dust in the cargo area that I needed to be cleaned out or he was going to charge me $25 as he proceeded to hand me the broom. My Issue with this is that those chores seem like receiving duties, especially since I paid $500 for the rental. What's the purpose of having an employee receive the vehicle if I did 90% of his job. All he did was check it in and move it to the storage location. I could save your company tons of money if you just let the guests do that and drop the key off in a box.

Better vehicle maintenance
Reservations were ridiculous and cancelled without notification.
20 foot truck with screaching brakes, slow stopping times when empty. Massive tore blowout was handled quickly. Truck was covered with dead bugs from road travel. Cigarette ashes in ash tray, cup holders, and on the floor
Mileage price is extremely high, .99 cents per mile is much to high.
They steal your money double charge you for the miles you request 2500 miles and use 2637. Went over 137 @.29 equal under 40 and got charged 120. Paid for 4 days and used only 3 days. It's horrible.

the day my parents went to rent/reserve. the employee did not help my parents because they do not speak English. he did not try to help he just ignore them. At the day we take back the employee that checked the truck he was kind of rude to me
There are only four customer parking spaces on this huge lot. If you need to drop off your car to drive a rental truck you often have nowhere to park.

Employees were very helpful and friendly. Only complaint is the amount I was told and authorized to be held was changed without my knowledge from $56.00 to $131.00 when my final charges were only $61.00.

The service staff were not very knowledgeable regarding vehicle towing and could not locate the tow bar which they showed to be on site. Polite enough.

My sister and I got a little lost trying to find the unit and the map wouldn't load on my phone, so we ended up going in to get a map. The man we spoke to was a trainee, who took the initiative to get us a map while his trainer was busy. We wished him well at his new job, and went on our way.

I had originally moved into an outside unit during a quick relocation from out of state back in April. I later found out that with the extreme heat of ELP, that my things may get damaged being in the outside unit. I was able to get an inside unit. I worked with the U-Haul team to transfer my lease, and access a nice roomer inside unit. Jonathan and the team were accommodating and made the move/transfer easy. Thank you to all of them for their expertise and help! Javier
The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly whenever I needed assistance. I've NEVER been disappointed with any of the staff in any location I've gone to (Addison, Dallas or El Paso). Whether renting a storage unit, trailer or buying boxes, I would HIGHLY recommend U-Haul for these and other services. Thank you all very much!!
The employee's intake process is slow. i was there for close to 2 hrs before i was finally able to get moving on the storage

The card readers were constantly breaking requiring long walks to turn the alarm on and off. The parking area is too congested by U-Haul equipment so that at time one cannot enter or exit the property

The service provided by the GM and the gentlemen that unhinged our trailer and let us in storage unit exceeded our expectations. They have a great team at this location.
This location doesn't answer the phone. Left 3 messages to UHAUL customer support to ask for a call back. $18 cc charge for a service not given, falsely claimed move out date was a month later.

Too many customers and too few staff members working. Had to wait in a long line for hours due to only 1 person working. Ridiculous staffing ratio especially on a Saturday!!!

The only complaint I have is the truck I got didn't have cruise control. I kind of get why but still it was rough driving 8 hours by myself with my foot on the gas pedal the whole time.

Only needed temporary storage. Very easy to arrange and professional friendly staff.
Poor customer service. It took various attempts and a couple of hours to get a competent person to help out.
My only complaint is when I would try to call the facility sometimes nobody would pick up the phone. Sometimes nobody would answer till the next day.
