Halls were always dirty w/ dirt, dust, and dead bugs. Metal door holder was always loose or broken. I think these were all easy fixes that were shared several times w/ staff & management.

The clerk who assisted me presented himself with minimal professionalism. He exhibited very little people skills. I was thoroughly confused by the entire process mainly because the pick-up location clerk continued to quote different prices than did the people who scheduled the truck. Even after allowing him to speak with the scheduling center (jasmine) on speaker phone, he continued to express that the price I was quoted was incorrect. The experience was terrible and I would not recommend that location, 4211 Mcever Road, Oakwood, GA, to anyone. I left the location initially because of a quote he gave me and had to drive back there after leaving to pick up the truck because I was afraid of having to pay a price that he quoted me. I drove to the location from Cornelia, GA to have endured that terrible treatment. Please take a moment to train that individual on people skills, professionalism, and learning the details of his position. Thank you.

The staff didn’t seem knowledgeable about my rental. They didn’t want to take the time to properly check me in. The area is hard and confusing to get into.

Everything was great during pickup. Dropping off was a complete nightmare. We were turned away from 4 different u-hauls that would not take our trailer. Our 8 month old son was upset from the time it took driving around at rush hour just to try to find other facilities.

I had a problem with a reservation at a Gas Station that I requested my pickup on a Saturday 8-24-19 at 7am reservation number 27351830. I placed my reservations on Wednesday and I received no email from Uhaul traffic that my truck was unavailable. The Gas Station (Chevron 2224 Thompson Bridge Rd, Gainesville, GA 30501) attendant was extremely rude and not willing to help me resolve my problem when the truck was not there for my pickup. She told me that it was my problem and I had to resolve it myself. I told her that I need for her to fix it and speak on my behalf and do her job. I refused to leave until she helped me and she said Uhaul was not her problem. ... This is completely unacceptable. Why have Uhaul trucks located at that location unless the personnel are trained to handle uhaul customers. I was eternally thankful that the Area Field Manager "Mark" and the AMAZING Oakwood Staff ( A.J I believe was the managers name) were able to accommodate me. I expect to be treated as a human being and not like a rabid dog. I will continue to call Uhaul corporate until this situation is resolved so others will know not to go to that location and have the same problems as I did. I don't know if that gas station can get her head out of the dirt but for everyday working people who's time is precious and have limited free time to move their belongings because "Life Happens", she needs to realize that a person requesting UHaul is not just a number or a warm body but a Human being. My experience with Cheveron "J & S Food Mart" was a painful as being seen and treated like a cockroach because that is what she did, step all over me like one. I ask that Mark go in and remind and train the personnel their that Uhaul customers are not a nuisance or a pest but an asset. Why that location is even allowed to operate trucks from that location with the mindset is beyond my comprehension and is a serious stain to the reputation of Uhaul.

When a customer returns said rental property, employees should immediately check that rental property back in ASAP! I had uhaul call me, wanting to know when I was turning said rental property back in, this isn’t acceptable at all cause it’s like I’m being accused of stealing! When I didn’t even have the rental truck an hour & only put 17 miles on said vehicle.

The vehicle was clean, but the alignment was off to the left, the radio didn't work, and the lights for the dash did not work so you had to guess how fast you were going at 530 in the AM or drive with the interior light on.

The wiring harness was wrapped around the tail pipe so it blew several fuses. I did not know this until we were on our way to Florida for our family vacation. We did not have functioning blinkers the whole trip. I called customer service and they sent an email and asked Oakwood to call me. That never happened so I paid for the repair on my own. To begin with the Uhaul in Buford was supposed to install my hitch but when I got there for my appt the person said I am sorry the technician did not show up so they contact Oakwood to see if they could install the hitch. I had to drive all the way up to Oakwood only to find out the installation was done correctly. I called road side service to tell them what happened.

A few weeks ago I did not have access to the loading dock because there were storage boxes stack in front of it. This was extremely inconvenient as I had one day off to get into my unit, Unacceptable

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The storage in Oakwood was actually to small. But the staff invited us to go the Buford and use one of their new storage. It was perfected for our needs.

it took two hours to drop off a small trailer and unload my furniture into a U-Haul box. the staff was completely overwhelmed by the number of customers.

The day I went there the staff was new and wasn't fully trained to be there alone. I was told that along with my rental of the truck that I also got one month free storage. and that didn't happen.
