DAVID PI reserved a pickup truck using the app and using my debit card. When I got to u haul the employee said that I can only use a credit card. On uhaul's FAQ page, it says you can use a debit card for uhaul rentals. When I mentioned that to the employee, he sarcastically said "well they are going to have to change that". After he said that, I am thinking that, I need to start renting from Penske!
RANDAL QThe local business in Yuma was professional, courteous and helpful in arranging my move. They compensated for problems understanding and navigating the corporate website (difficulty comparing price options, need to reenter all data whenever a change was made, problems with scheduling times, fragmented invoice structure). Sandra MThe employee/s that helped me were great. I appreciate good customer service, however the process was more cumbersome than actually working with the representative. Everything that they assisted with, I could have done online. This is a great disadvantage as I rather like dealing with a person than doing things online. Technology is overated. The hidden prices were also annoying. It was more expensive than advertised. Besides taking away from good customer service and the hidden prices, I highly recommend this location.

Check-in gets backed up in the street and maneuvering in the lot is very hard. Especially when there is equipment everywhere. I wish they would move to a bigger lot.

CESAR VMaybe better signage for where to turn in to return the truck. At the pickup location, there were used boxes that we were invited to take which was very helpful at the end when we needed just a few more. We tried to return the favor at the drop off location and leave a few boxes, but we were told they would just be thrown away even though there was an empty used boxes box inside. I think that's a nice gesture to allow some give-away boxes since we spent so much money renting the truck and hiring movers.
MICHAEL CIts just one massive cluster terrible to get in terrible to get out. Why did I rent a specific trailer with a ramp and get told they don't have the trailer with the ramp extremely inconvenient for loading unloading was not fun
AUSTIN MPoor, because I was guaranteed I would not be charged another months rent if containers were picked up before the 30th of September. Busted my butt to empty them, had them picked up 2 days later on 29th. This place failed to do process correctly and scan the containers as picked up, so on 30 September I was charged almost $400 for rent for 30 Sep thru 30 Oct. Very unsatisfied as GM and their driver both guaranteed me this situation woukd not happen, but yet here I am in this situation. Now, I am struggling and late on car payment due to their lack of doing things properly. Other then that, they were very friendly, supportive, and polite.
Danny gI did the truck share pickup and it was horrible. The truck was parked in an empty lot across the street from the store. When I went inside I had to wait for the keys as the only guy working was tied up with another customer. When I finally got my keys and opened the truck there was no utility dolly, appliance dolly or furniture pads in the truck even though I had reserved those when I reserved the truck. After another trip back inside the store I was informed there were no utility dollys available.

ROXXANNE BThe only issue I have is when UHaul advertises that you can rent a truck for a day for $19.99, they should also advertise plus 0.99 cents per mile! If a person is experiencing an emergency and think they can rent a truck for ONLY $19.99 reality will be they might have to have at least $100 in their bank account to just get the truck off the lot.

PAUL MThe first u haul they tried to give me was dead, and they did not believe me and had to come out and check it. The second u haul they gave me had suspension issues and was very bumpy even when driving 25 mph. When I returned the u haul he asked if anything was wrong and I told him the issues with the van shaking and bouncing at the low speed. He stated it’s just how it goes with that type of vehicle. This is not true. Now I see why there are issues with your lot vehicles.
