Parking in that area is very difficult to find if I am having to leave my vehicle to drive a U-Haul truck for the day it it is inconvenient The only parking available on the street is 2 hours if you can find a space. all day parking is harder to find. In fact parking at that facility is pretty much impossible. They have a big lot and store trucks there why not carve a few spaces out for customers or talk to the city and request lifting ban on cars parked for more the two hours?

I drove to this location after trying to return at Spirit Gas, 461 N. Altadena Dr., Pasadena CA. Spirit Gas and the U-Haul office were open but the U-Haul attendant had left. I was given a business card with a disconnected cell number and a business phone that went to voice mail. I think a U-Haul attendant should be present when a location is open.

The inability to contact the location directly is more annoying than your financial savings for doing so. At least give the option if requested. The reservation center failed to locate a location with the proper equipment however I was able to do it myself. Even the people at the center agreed that the reservation line was useless.

Original 6 by 6 by 6 units were advertised as a single room storage. This was not large enough to fit what I needed. I then had to pay double to have a normal sized unit. Second air conditioned unit I was shown was then found to still have a leak. Third unit I was shown was over priced for the space. Had a hard time with having the key card work to get access to the units. It took them almost 30 minutes to get it fixed. I was continuously lead the wrong way by those attending. Most did not have full knowledge of where the numbered units were on premises and we did a lot of wandering.

Workers could be friendlier and not so perfunctory. Person taking advance reservation was blunt "Here, read this. Check in online. Uh-huhn, Goodbye"; woman in office on return couldn't take time to get out of chair; just waved me outside and then realized no one was there. Agent who actually handled check out was the best. An experienced person who was friendly. If you don't like dealing with people find another line of business.

I had reserved a newer fleet truck for 24 hours. Was supposed to be charged 40 cents per mile with the first 30 miles free. I was charged 1.09 per mile. Didn't get the first 30 miles free. I turned the truck in after the store closed but before 24 hours were up. Now I have to call and waste my time on the phone with someone. Why can't anything be smooth sailing?

The customer service at this location was fine, and I didn't have to wait long which was nice. My issue was with the smell of the inside of the van, it smelled like wet dog and it was strong. It wasn't so bad I couldn't bear it, but I was going several miles and didn't enjoy the odor. Besides the smell the van was in fine shape and clean. It got the job done well.

I feel like I got bait and switched. When I arrived, the store was busy, and that's understandable since it was the weekend. When I got to the counter, I felt as if I had reserved not even should have bothered with booking online several days prior. Not only that but the moving supplies that I had purchased weren't on order, so I had to ask for them again, and got charged 16..85 for plastic wrap even though I had that on my online order as well. The staff could not find the keys to the van on order either, and that was okay until I waited far too long when I was finally given keys to another van. I was given a new contract and told to disregard the old one. I took pictures of the gas, and I still got charged a fuel fee of 4.60 even though the van was at the original fuel level. Overall it was a terrible experience. It took too long to be considered convenient, and no one seemed to know what was going on even though I'm sure the staff does this every day. A retrain is clearly in order, and the booking system and the one at the location need to be far more accurate it is currently half-baked. There were too many people working in this place and yet they were so inefficient they could not handle a Sunday morning. I'm not pleased with my Uhaul experience if anyone wants to contact me, by all means, do so 8312619429.

I rent a U-Haul pick-up at least once a month. And the yard guy is always grinding me for not cleaning the truck. This time I swept the bed twice, the second time with a soft broom. Do they get to keep the $10 or $25 if I don't shout an argue my way our of it? What company wants to argue with their customer? At $.69 a mile I think U-Haul should be doing some maintenance work. I will say that the counter guy pointed out the feature on the rental contract that tells you how much gas to put in the tank to return it at the same level. That is handy.

I would first like to say I would like a major discount, because first off the truck and was not ready then the guy back the truck in to the trailer damaging the trailer plug which out of late for our pick for equipment, then they switched trucks and tried rushing the check outpaper work, then the truck we got later found out had a delayed start and got worse as the time went on. Then the 12 volt adapter was broke, the fuse was blown and they said when I called that they checked the truck before giving it to us, which is a lie because the A.C. would cut out while driving and on hills so we didn't have A.C. most of the trip, and then our trailer had issues. The first one was our back safety chain clamp was broken and bent, and then the front chain didn't have a rubber securing strap and the back on was super old. When I called to tell them how I felt they put me on hold then 3 mins later hung up the phone. I will request at least a 100 dollar discount or my lawyer will be contacting you.

I was charged an unreasonable cleaning fee for not folding the pads. When I called to complain, the person told me the requirement to fold them was written on the bag. It's a clear plastic bag covering dark speckled pads, so of course I didn't see the text, and nobody told me I had to fold them.

I had done all the express check-in stuff online and none of it was ready when I got there. The lady at the desk didn't even notice I had done that until I told her. Once I let her know she just pointed to where everything was and told me to get it. Def not the level of service I expected. I did appreciate how super clean everything was in and out of the store, and the guys in the yard were really nice.

Teach your workers not to have an attitude that customers are BOTHERING them just by showing up. Less attitude, more "Hi how are you". Having workers act like they don't even want to be there is not a good vibe. That's a Pro Tip from a business owner.

Although the claim of pest control is a little misleading seemingly nothing more than rat boxes and my $500 wool rug was ruined - it was a nice enough experience. I was there 6.5yrs.

I would have rated my whole experience at 5 stars, but unfortunately I dropped my rental off leaving my removable Garmin gps stand still on the inside of the windscreen. I phoned before my 48 hrs rental had ended but apparently it had disappeared. Theft is the poorest quality in a big Company. It's a shame because it soured my otherwise very good experience.

Haul is a nightmare. Uhaul got the delivery date wrong, 3 Kings moving helpers did not show up when they said they were. Initial experience scheduling the loading of the box was awful.

oNly thing that needs improvement is the communication between Uhaul facilities in two different cities. Sometimes the information was wrong. Other than this, things were good.

Staff were friendly, but wires got crossed somewhere between staff and my box was not shipped when I requested. Had other issues with the Glendale and Auburn locations.

The Ubox was great. The employee who rented our reserved double trailer to another person was not so great. He also didn`t check one box and when we tried to open it, it was bolted closed.

Staff was unhelpful, and I wanted 24 hour access. The most inconvenient thing was that the small storage units were all upstairs, so I had to carry everything up 25 feet of stairs to reach my unit.

Moving out of storage, it took 20 minutes for someone to open bay door for my truck for storage pickup. An employee had his personal car in the bay. .

The storage is absurdly expensive and there is no elevator to the second floor storage. And I`m not talking a ten-step trip either. Forty steps up with no air conditioning is ridiculous.
