I reserved a 10’ truck for pickup at 2:45pm but when I arrived I was told it wouldn’t be returned until 6:00pm. I was offered a 15’ truck for $10 more. How could I reserve a truck that you don’t have? I don’t know but the person with whom I spoke over the phone took my info to make the reservation in the first place. Why would I then be penalized $10 for an upgrade, which I neither needed nor wanted? Fortunately, the lady who had the rented out, came by 10 min afterwards. Yet, right in front of me you spoke negatively of that customer for not returning the truck properly because there were apparently still propane tanks still in the truck. And even though she was really late, returned the truck improperly, and delayed her check-in process which delayed my pickup process you finally relented and said to cancel her late fees. What upsets me is that 3 minutes prior I was told by that same employee that they have no control over prices. I was lied to on multiple occasions: there was no truck that I was supposed to have reserved, and there was nothing U-Haul could do to help me—except for the person right after me. If I could’ve just gotten the 10’ truck I reserved then I would have been happy. Or if you could have just been like “yeah our system isn’t perfect and didn’t account for overlapping schedules (instead of repeatedly saying it’s “not our fault”) and then upgraded me to the other truck you actually had, the 15’ truck. And if for some reason you can’t adjust prices, if you could’ve compensated me the difference, like let me have $10 worth of boxes or something, then this would’ve make my experience 5-Star. I don’t expect things to be perfect. I understand unplanned things happen. But your response to this situation merits poor quality. Awful!

This is my 5th time renting from this facility. The staff has always been very chill to deal with even in the early morning hours. Trucks are always clean and functional. So far no complaints or issues with this location. Keep up the good work guys

Just having a lock on the truck. I’ve never rented a UHAUL that didn’t already have one attached to it with the key on the truck’s key ring. It was an easy fix (and very quickly resolved) but it was an unexpected trip (on a tight schedule day of moving) to the store after realizing all our items in the back were unsecured.

Allow more on site parking. You guys have a huge mostly empty lot and about 10 customer parking spots which were all full. Otherwise everybody was friendly and cool and the van was fine.

The cargo van I rented was not clean inside ite out. It had not been washed. And the inside of the front window was very dirty, making it hard to see. When I asked the employee about the dirtiness he shrugged it off and said they were too busy to clean the vehicle before renting it to me.

They did a very nice job from soup to nuts. My call for a reservation went great. Fast, service oriented and professional. My arrival to pick up the car was again simple, fast and professional. They had all the info I provided at reservation. Drop off was again quick, simple and straightforward. I heard this was a great place and it really is!!

The process was simple! I ordered on line, i got to do my check in online too. I drove to the store, they let me parl my car in the parking lot. A guy walked an inspection with me verifying van was OK. I drove back we did another walk through and return was complete! Simple!! Thank you! I definetly wiuld rent from that iffice again!!

Uhaul did NOT follow through on their 24/7 reservation and was not able to keep their commitment to us for a truck reservation at the agreed time and location. They delayed us 6 hours and required is to call several different people to finally reserve a truck. We reserved a 20' truck at the Baldwin Hills, CA 10 days in advance for a Sunday 4:30 am pickup. We arrived Sunday at 4 am for the truck, as we had a long day of moving ahead of us to move two apartments. We attempted to start the online reservation to find that our truck was not assigned to us. The online message stated that the site manager is available 24/7. We called two times with no answer, then called the corporate customer service. She inofrmed us that Baldwin Hills was not a 24/7 location despite us receiving a confirmation in my email for our truck. The customer service rep was unable to assist us with finding an available truck and stated that we needed to wait until 7 am to call the Reservation Department. We called the reservation department to find out they are not open until 9 am. The customer service rep missinformed us. At 10:30 am, we were finally able to get a truck reserved to us at the Pasadena location. Uhaul delayed our move 6 hours and cost us financially, as we had scheduled movers to meet us in the morning. We finished our move at midnight on Sunday. Overall, uhaul was not considerate of us or show they care about their customers. We had to pay full price. We would like to receive a refund for the expenses, because uhaul was not able to keep their commitment reservation to us.

Personnel was extremely helpful. One person even stayed after he had clocked out to answer questions and help me with unhooking the tow dolly from the truck. I hate that I didn't get their names because I would like to mentioned them personally but it was the later afternoon shift on Saturday. Great work.

When I arrived at exactly 6:58pm to return the truck before closing time at 7pm the store was already closed and there were no employees left to help me resulting in me having to pay for an extra rental period
