The "Self Service" rental did not work as expected. Your location opened at 9Am and I had an 8:30 AM reservation counting on the fact that I could pick up prior to opening. After much to do (had to call your customer service as the vehicle was not where your service was indicating) I got something on my phone that said to show it to the desk and they would give me my keys. I'll never book anything when your offices are closed. Not worth the hassle.

When someone has a flat an needs road assistance the onsite staff whoud more clearly explain to already frustrates clients that Customer Support at the 800 number can better help make accommations (to make up for the lost hours) than the onsite supervisor. The staff that answered the phone the two times I asked to speak with someone in charge just switched me to where I was on hold without knowing why. This only compounded my frustration. The Customer support rep ( Dustin Clark or Brown) who finally did help me extend my rental time was very compassionate and helpful. Onsite staff could have been more understanding and should know how to help customers when a truck isn't working.

I ordered for Rosemead. You sent me to L.A for a 6:00 pm pick up. I arrived at 5:45 no customer in store and was not helped tell 6:10pm. Then was told they don't have my trailer. I said we'll can you find me one. He tells me Vernon. I said no. How about Pasadena or something east. He found it in pasedena. So I had to make the drive in rush hour and bearly made it before they closed.

Dealing with the staff was very easy, both at the time of the reservation, pick up and drop off. No problems there. A great difference from the last time I rented at this location, in 2005. We had been given a truck with a defective passenger door, which we reported, and the staff was indifferent. This time, the only glitch was that the air conditioning in the van was erratic, and blew warm air (on a 92* day) until almost the end of the trip, when it began to operate properly, without any additional or new input on my part.

Allow 24 drop offs for the pickup truck I picked up and do your best to get rid of the movers on the sidewalk as they almost caused me to get into 2 accidents entering and leaving the property.

Overall, the store was clean and well organized. The location was convenient to me. But there are two things could be better because they ruined my experience with U-Haul. 1. System performance: I did check-in thru online before I got to the location but it didn't matter. They were having issues with the system so it took long time and I needed to go over the same things I did for online check-in. The person who was helping me was so frustrated with the system. I understood in the beginning but later on it made me uncomfortable because he expressed his frustrations too much. 2. Currently, I see 3 pending transactions with U=Haul on my bank account and I don't recognize one transaction. (the first one is the estimate one, the second one is for over mileage, and the last one I don't know what this is for). I feel like I can't trust U-Haul system and I'm worried if I have to go thru phone calls, etc to sort this out.

Actually help the customer. I waited outside to drop off the uhaul and after 10 minutes I went inside when the sign says please wait outside. I found the lady sitting playing on her computer with absolutely nobody else around. She even saw me on the security tv that was right in front of her. Said to go wait outside to me. Another ten minutes went by before a completely different person came out and helped me. Again what a joke. Twitter, Facebook , etc will be hearing about this.

when I took a car miles was 5446, not 5445, your employee corrected the document, but for 40 cents I will not become impoverished ... and I gave you a car with more gasoline than I took, could take this into account when doing the recalculation

The truck was very loud. I haven't been able to hear anything for days. The gasoline cost from LA to the Bay Area was 177.00. Could have flown both ways and had a marguerita.

I have rented about 5 times in the last 2 months but this time was awful. I received the truck with a filthy bug splattered windshield, the cargo area was dirty, and to top it off learned that I got it with a flat inner tire on the rear. Had to cut my moves short because of this. A really bad experience on many fronts.

When I picked up my 20' truck everything went smoothly. The employee walked around the truck and showed me all the damage spots including a large spot on the roof of the truck. He signed off on the rental with the damages reported. When I got to my drop-off spot, the damage in the truck that was previously recorded allowed extensive water from a rainstorm to enter the truck and do $600 of damage to my belongings. When the drop-off location saw the truck, they said it should never have left Pasadena. I need to be reimbursed for the damage charges that were not my fault, and I need the $600 reimbursement for my property damages.

Nothing. Location had plenty of vehicles. One I got was fairly new. I did screw up and did not check to see that fuel gauge matched the form (form showed 7/8 actually was at 3/4). When I told them when I got back, the noted I had only driven 4.5 miles and believed me and corrected it. No hassle. Please let them know I appreciated that.

The oder of what ever chemicals that are used to clean it was very bad. I had to let the van air out all night. If you use organic cleaning material that will not happen. Otherwise all was great! Virginia
