Provide the service advertised. Having to disconnect an AT in 100 degree weather, or at any time while a U Haul agent and 'yard employee' sit inside watching their monitor while the customer 'spots' and disconnects a trailer isn't professional and reflects poor training and supervision.

I reserved this trailer the day before pick-up. I inquired what there closing time was to avoid keeping the unit overnight. I was told they closed at 7:00 pm and I said great as I knew that it would take the better part of the day to drive from Pasadena to Newport Beach (5 hr. round trip). When I arrived to pick-up the trailer I was confronted with the fact that I must have the trailer back by 5:00 pm. as it was rented to another customer. I told the Mgr. that what he was requiring would not be possible. Rudely, he told me I had no choice or he wasn't going to let the trailer leave. When I tried to explain that I rented and was paying for the day and by terms could keep the trailer over night however, it was my desire to return it at closing on the same day. He told me I had no proof that the girl reserved it to 7:00 pm and it would take to long to review the tapes and find the truth. My response was and is still"Are you calling me a liar" Tempers got the best of the conversation and of course threats of not allowing the rental of the trailer... (I'm sure you understand how the story developed and ended) Or did it you now have one pissed off past customer who has since rented the truck necessary from Enterprise... Oh yes let me finish with I never could pick up all of the scheduled items because I feared returning the trailer late. As one can see It took 2.5 hrs. to drive from LA to Orange county & a few minutes longer going back. I can only hope this is not a reflection of the management team @ U-Haul. Rudeness to any customer should not be tolerated.... In the not to distant past I was the President & CEO of SERCO Inc. North America. SERCO, a leading Government Contracting Company (2 Billion in Sales) and thirty thousand employees. Each Employee who dealt with the public was required to attend the SERCO Institute for Customer care and satisfaction... Our motto and one you may consider is "GETTING BETTER AT BEING BETTER. I do think the rate per mile is quite high. $.79 per mile. I could have rented a car with unlimited mileage for the same price....and it would have been a more comfortable ride and better customer service. The truck I rented suited my needs but the cost was not appropriate.

I tried to check in using my mobile device and ran into some trouble with passwords. Got good help from the counter. Didn't use the app but I think the mobile check in is a GREAT idea if I can master it. Signed, 62 years digital dinosaur.

I came to pickup a trailer guys did not kniw hwo to hook up trailer to my truck. Farther more they didn't kat me take it becoise lights were not working. I have been calling to get my money back and they keep hanging up on me and their English is not understandable.

You can equip your trucks with at least a cd player. It is quite boring to listen to commercials on the radio, especially in one way rentals.

My Chase Liquid card was not accepted at the U-Haul location. It is currently the only card that i have. Perhaps, by making that card readable on the register system, it wiuld be more convenient for customers who have that type of card.

I arrived 30 minutes early to find that there were people already waiting for the place to open. When it did open, there was only one person attending a long line that reached back to the entrance doors. My wait time was 30 minutes. When I did get my reserved truck it was very dirty. I had asked if the truck was supposed to have been washed. They outsude attendent stated that they don't wash the vehicles because there was a drought before and they are conserving so that it wont happen again. OMG, REALLY! I had to go take it for a wash before I had to use it.

I did rent a van , it was too smelly inside and so dirty outside the car, the oil change lamp and tire pressure was on!!

This is probably the worst u haul center in Southern California. The staff obviously do not enjoy there jobs. They had no parking for my vehicle within the lot for customers, the nearest lot was one mile from the store since all the streets parking spots have 2 hour maximums . Highly suggest never using this center.
