I’m giving the PASADENA location a low rating because u haul should have honored my original contract to drop off the trailer in Glendale. I told them it makes me uncomfortable driving in Pasadena but they did not care and made me return it there. A company should never force a customer to do something against there will when they say there uncomfortable doing a un agreed upon task.

Your Moving helpers didn’t show (sorry, you’re liable too. Don’t say they’re independent. Cop out for partnering with shady outfit.) truck was dirty & beat up, headlights were dangerous, and you overcharged me.

The clerk behind the desk didn't really greet me. I had to get his attention to receive any help. When the paperwork was finished, one of the other employees just pointed at the truck that I was issued and that's all he did, I got a one-way truck from Pasadena to Mira Mesa (San Diego). I'm not sure which location is at fault - the pick-up location, the drop-off location, or the uHaul system. When I got the uHaul truck at the pick up location, I chose a designated drop-off location in Mira Mesa which was also reflected on the contract when I drove off of the lot. I had my truck for 2 days and I called the drop-off location before returning it to give them a heads up and the very friendly clerk informed me that their lot was full and that my drop-off location was actually in Poway. I vented my frustration at the situation as that was not stipulated in the contract so he spoke to his manager and the manager said to just drop it off at their location. As I was driving to the location, that's when the uHaul system actually sent me a notification text message informing me that my drop-off location had been changed to Poway which is WAY too late of a notification as I was supposed to be dropping it off 20 minutes later. It was a complete failure of the uHaul notification system. When I arrived at the drop-off location I showed the manager my contract and it showed that his location was reflected on the contract as my drop-off point. He looked a bit confused but all he did was call their traffic hotline and they fixed it within minutes. I believe his name was Wayne. He was great. He was great in fixing it but a very terrible uHaul notification system.

The truck I picked up had a couple of dents and some fender damage that not documented which I had to take pictures and show it to the uhaul associate for him to document, since I could not do it through my end, but everything else was great,

Online pickup and verification took way to long. When I was done I was instructed to go inside and pickup key at side of desk. Nothing was marked and all the people at the desk where really busy. I talked to someone who was standin around and the attempted to get me the key but it took them about 15 minutes to find it.

Had one guy at the counter who was new. Nice and caring guy but he was all alone. He’d call fo help - someone would come answer his question then leave him alone again while the line of customers waited. Also had a very helpful guy hoop up my trailer. Those two guys were great but it took me 40 minutes to get a trailer. That’s ridiculous because they were not busy. They woman in front of me in line left because there was no parking available for her car while she used your truck.

This was a very convenient location. The service was below par. There needs to be more people working during the busy hours. Only one person was working the counter at a busy time, first of the month and a Saturday. My wait was only 45 minutes to get to the counter but there were 15-20 people behind me with only seven in front. I'm sure that they waited much longer. When I made it to the counter, they did not have the moving pads I had reserved. This complicated my move and put my belongings at risk.

The customer service from the man working inside was fantastic (I believe his name was Logan). Unfortunately when I got in the truck, its cup holders were dirty, as though something had spilled but not been wiped up, and I was told I had to return the truck with a 1/4 tank and when I started it it didn’t even have an 1/8 of a tank. No one walked me through the truck (I originally wanted to try the mobile p/u but changed when I got there as I needed more supplies, which may have led to confusion). Overall, the team was very nice and it seemed they may have been short-staffed, and I know things get missed sometimes. I would just hope the slight misses are not common occurrences.
