I originally had a 10 foot truck reserved at Stoney Road. when I arrived after calling and waiting on line for 25 minutes I was told truck would not be available! I was sent to another location where I could only get an 8 foot van which meant what would have taken one trip now required two!!!

Would like to thank both David & Bruce! Both these men went out of their way to make sure i was in and out of the facility with no time disruption. David even remembered the few tricks we picked up to make the hookup timeless stressful to my GMC! Bruce moved trailers my hand to give me a clear shot to back in and unhook!

I would like to acknowledge the man that checked me out in the AM. He went over the trailer in very good detail, Found the leak in the tire was plugged and was not safe so he had the tire changed. He took the time to do the job right. He seemed to the person in charge, but either way he was polite, cared about he job and took the time to ensure I had a safe and functional trailer. Having rented from uhaul before, I can tell you that this man should be recognized for taking the extra steps required for the customer and the company.

This place will steal money from you. They will charge you for supplies you didn't use, then tell you they will refund you, then they will stop responding entirely. What a poorly run location. I have already left bad google reviews and will make sure to contact corporate when I have time. Shame!

First of all, the first location (on grand avenue) claimed they gave away our truck despite our reservation, making for a chaotic rush to secure another moving vehicle. We walked into the facility at 9:45 and our reservation was for 9:30. There had not been told that our truck would be given away within 15 minutes of the scheduled pick up time, nor did we even receive any notification that our reservation had then been cancelled because we were “late”. The location we were then sent to (market street) luckily had a truck available, but was horrible. My business has used u-haul exclusively for our storage and moving needs, but today will be the last time we give u-haul our business.

rental on a Wed. put boxes in the UHaul next AM opened the door the entire inside was drenched with water. Called service they explained the truck was in an accident never repaired, they caulked it had to wait 2-3 hours before filling. Filled, next AM wet again shooting through the light. Had to exchange truck for another, did not have the size. Two days of not packing pushed trip off 2 days, had to fill and in-fill, repack due to the water, fill. Had to get second truck at a different location. Two times of being inconvenienced for the pick up and in the middle of what should have been me leaving, not picking up a truck. So the repairs were faulty x several attempts obviously which lead to a very BIG inconvenience to me and I had to rearrange the entire trip schedule. Not cool.

I think if someone make a reservation, you have to let them know in that moment that they apply for the service. For me it's not fair that do I have to wait a couple of minutes to receive some feedback from you.

En esa ubicación nose puede rentar nd porque ello quieren que uno deje dique el pasaporte y siempre poniendo pero. Lo vehiculo no ledan mantenimiento al motor ni nada el vehículo estaba pidiendo que le cambiaran el aceite y asi mismo selo renta a otra persona

The location was fine, but the corporate folks were the problem. They said that I could go to the location with my car that I was planning on trailering and the folks there could help me get the car on the trailer, no problem. However when I arrived the folks here said they don't do that and didn't have anybody there to help even if they did. This caused a big problem for me and was easily avoidable with proper information.

Make sure your equipments are properly cleaned and in working conditions. The side mirror from the passenger side could not be adjusted which made it difficult for me to safely handle the truck and turns. The inside of the windshield looked like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks

i picked up the truck on the 20th of september. The spanish girl was very helpful. The only problem I had was when i went back to get the transport hooked up the truck. I traveled from paterson nj to woodbridge nj which is not far. I noticed that the ropes that hold the front wheels of my pickup truck to the transport were completely off. someone could of got killed because the ropes were not installed right by the uhaul guy who did it. I had to call road assistance and after an hour, they decided to send someone out to fix it. I almost got charged for this even though i had purchased, safe trip and insurance on the truck and transport which is ridiculous. The lady at road assistance was very helpful in making sure my concerns was addressed to the manager that day. The tech came out and told me that the uhaul tech had placed the ropes wrong. If u place the ropes correctly, they are impossible to come off. He was right because I made it to tn which is about 800 miles and the ropes were still on tight. I am grateful to the lady in road assistance for sending me the right person to fix the problem. Other than that incident, everything went well. The 20ft truck did its job on hauling and towing by vehicle and it was great on gas which was nice.

After I returned the trailer some one made 2 unauthorized charges to my debit card at DOORDASH. It seems like a mighty big coincidence in which I had to put a hold on my card and dispute the charges.

This process was a nightmare from start to finish. They changed my location 3 times, I lost a full day, and the next scheduled day they didnt have the truck i reserved. I had to wait for them to get it. Ill never use UHaul again nor will i recomend them.

Pick up to was at 12:30pm. Once arrived to pick up truck I was told that I had to wait until they got a new extension for the tow, was given an ETA of 10minute. I checked in again at 1:06pm and ask the front desk guy, he told me I had to just wait and he has no answer for me when I asked him where the other guy was with the extension. After telling him that it's cutting into my time frame with the truck, I told me there was nothing he can do. As a customer, we are given a time to be somewhere to pick up a truck, if we have to wait over an hour after the given time; the company should be held accountable for not having their equipment ready. Once I received the truck with the tow, the wheels strap on the R/S was ripped (not safe). Not happy with the experience nor the customer service I was given.

The agent that checked me in was rude when I first arrived and on a personal phone call trying to calm someone down. I was not acknowledged when I arrive by either of the 2 guys that were there before the female agent that pulled the male agent was assisting me a way in the middle of my picking up my truck took her personal call on her personal cell phone and had me waiting. I just will never choose this location again.

My reservation was change which added to my total mileage. I don't understand why go to the trouble to reserve ahead of time if the location is going to be switched and I'm going to have to pay for the mileage to drive a the way out there. Terrible, never using or recommending again.

be faster, there was one other person dropping off equipment and at least 3 other people. When people move they're on a schedule, be mindful of that. It took over 30 minutes and it was hot and we had our pup with us.

The young lady that was helping me was very nasty she was not helpful at all I had to go online and make my reservation because when I got there she told me that they had no trucks or vans available but that was a lie she just didn't want to do her job. They young man. On the other had was more polite and very helpful when I returned the van. The customers behind me was telling me how nasty she was with the when they was there recently. I my opinion she needs more training!!

Our location was changed the day before. We showed up at 9:30 to pick up which is when every email and text said. The woman behind the counter was very rude told us our pick up was 10:30 and there was nothing she could do. I showed her the emails and texts saying it was 9:30 and she just denied it and said you have to wait outside.

Hi, Hope you're doing well. I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent experience with U-haul. It was simple and easy using the website to reserve my cargo van. I chose the option mobile pick up because I thought it was going to be simple and faster than going through the customer service at the store. I was completely wrong. The mobile app was difficult and hard to navigate. What made matters worse is it took nearly 30 minutes for me to be approved for my vehicle. There weren't any instructions on where my vehicle could be found or any info that told me there would need to be 2 additional people to be called to verify my identity. In fact, on the website there wasn't even an indication this would happen. I wasted basically an hour or so waiting to actually pick up my vehicle and that took valuable time away from my move. I had to call and extend my usage which resulted in me being charged an extra 50$. I find this to be extremely frustrating because the app resulted in my delay, resulting in me needing extra time on the back end. It'd be really great if I could get a refund of that extra 50$ considering the app and customer service via the app caused my delay. I'm not sure if I'd use U-haul again given all the hassle.
