Overall my experience was great however I was erroneously charged a fuel charge. I use 41 miles and added 7 gallons of gasoline prior to return and was charged a $8.08 fuel charge. This was definitely wrong and the young lady who checked me out said there is nothing she can do to reverse the charge.

I made this reservation 4 weeks ago. I come in and expect to have a truck without any problems. However I come in and they say they do not have a truck for me for at least 2 hours because there is a hole in the roof. I sit there waiting for an hour to hear I have to go to another location. The other location greeted me by saying "just because they sent my reservation over does not mean I am guaranteed a truck." Long story short, I ended waiting an 1 hour and 30 min after my reservation for a truck. I then get charged 59 extra dollars at the end of the reservation. The only thing that went right that day was my ability to get the truck back on time without any damage. I am never using u-haul again.

Bruce was very helpful. He helped check me in when the mobile check in was not working. He was very nice, patient, and pleasant. Moises was also very helpful. He was able to extend my time when I was running late and corrected the billing error when I was overcharged by the system. He was also very pleasant and had a nice demeanor. Recommend this location highly. My customer service experience with scheduling was not good and I would not recommend booking online or speaking to the customer service reps. Call a location directly for the best service. Also, I recommend not using the mobile check in as it was not working and there was no remedy offered. I would also recommend that you check your bill carefully before you leave as UHaul was quick to “automatically charge” for things that i was not supposed to be charged for. Also don’t expect that “call to confirm the day before” if you select that you prefer any other method than phone calls. I didn’t get a call and was told it was because I selected “text” as my preference. When I rebooked and adjusted my original reservation, I got no texts, calls or confirmations.

Have had a problem when returned the truck. We booked a truck for returned at Leonia/Fort Lee area but invoice appear no return on above location and Uhaul Fort Lee charged us a double rate due to no return to be at Fort Lee.

Have more workers at location. Every time I rent from this location its only once person working and the wait time can usually get up to a half an hours just to rent a vehicle. The solo worker is always polite and tries his best to serve you quick and always does his best to get you in and out quickly.

Wrong millage information, I got charged $2.00 a mile when online you guys advertise $.99 a mile and in the store the continuous information video that's playing says $1.59 a mile!? So which one is it and at the end of the day I got charged $2.00 a mile, not happy!
