Used UHaul storage for about 1.5 years and price increased two times. Never complained but when we were moving out I saw damage. Water leaked in unit, damaged a lot of furniture and other personal stuff. Paid extra for climate controlled unit and it didn’t feel too much different from outside temperatures. Tried checking out of unit but sign on door said to go to another location. No point of checking out at a different store front so I tried calling the other location about five times. Eventually, after being on hold a customer service rep would answer. Service was below standard to terrible. Got passed around from agent to agent and on hold off and on for over an hour. Finally, about the 4th or 5th agent said he had a solution and I could checkout online. Would have been helpful if the first person could have given me that information. I don’t plan on using this location or a storage unit from uHaul again.Kalee M. | Overall Experience
Reserved this ahead and got a call a day before the move; stating that there was no equipment at the location I needed. I do not have a vehicle of my own and I'm moving solo. So, the location had to be changed. They didn't have the van I requested. So, I had to make do with the 10 foot truck. They also didn't have the dolly I requested. So, I had to lug heavy items up and down stairs with a heavier appliance dolly. The best part of this experience was the lovely lady behind the counter who did everything she could to make my move a possibility. Not only does moving make me nervous but handling things that don't belong to me, sets me on edge as well; not to mention, driving a big vehicle where I can't look through a rear view mirror. She was the shining moment of this experience and gave me a big sigh of relief, when she walked me through everything I needed to know. Five stars to her! She deserves a raise!Rebecca J.

I got there at 330pm and they gave me the wrong locker. Also the office hours stay until 5pm nobody was there at 330!!! I had to wait until 5 for somebody to come back to the office to then give me another locker which was bigger and charge me an additional 30 dollars for a 10x15 when I only needed a 10x10 room!Rob W. | First Impressions

Very disappointed, one year to have my storage space repaired was not done mold started to grow in the units and all of my clothes. I spoke to three different managers and nothing was done to assist me the customer. I will never recommend do U-Haul storage for anyone..WAYNE H. | Overall Experience

A lady named Ebony was working when I picked up the truck. When I called Uhaul to rent the truck was told this location was unmanned & would need to use my phone, get a code to open lock box, but thank goodness Ebony was there or I would still be sitting there trying to figure out how to get the key! this was first time i used mobile checkout - it worked but it did take a fair amount of time to checkout. Even though i pre-prepared well in advance, at one point the app asked me for some surprise information that wasn't included in the orientation/ pre-checkout instructions so it wasted a lot of time for me to get that info. Better pre-checkout instructions would be helpful, but overall the process did work and i was able to checkout the equipment earlier than the store hours.James S.

Your customer service sucks, 49 minute wait times, no good answers once we finally got through. Ridiculous! Stores seemed understaffed, waited in line for over an hour, didn’t have truck ready until 8 hours after reservation. Pinellas park Uhaul is a rip off. I rented a truck from there yesterday, and the same gas that was in the truck at pick up was returned that way! I was charged for gas that I didn't even use. I want my money refundedIosha W.
The 15' foot truck that was provided, while clean and handled well, had a mildew smell in the cabin that lingered the entire duration of the rental. I tried wiping down all surfaces and even sprayed febreze, but the smell came back.michael E.

Booked a 10x10, but was told that one wasnt available....this issue is booking means nothing apparently. When I booked it, it was available. Now I am paying more for a larger unit, I didnt need a larger unit. I needed a 10x10. Is it really first come first serve? So you book as many as possible knowing that that size unit may not be available when a customer shows up at the location and the appointed time? Bait and switch? Had a bit of a hard time finding a taxi to get back to my new townhome 9 miles away from this drop-off location since there were no Uber drivers anywhere nearby who would come pick me up. Recommend this location find and work with a local Uber driver or private taxi company to set up some kind of an arrangement, perhaps with U-Hauls online system, so those like me who drop-off a one-way rental truck don't have to wait an hour for a ride back to their new home. Other than that inconvenience, the receptionist here (Liz) was very friendly and the drop-off experience was smooth and easy, and she sent me my closed out rental contract via e-mail within 30 minutes after checking my drop-off truck for damages (none), mileage, and fuel tank level. I was also real happy with my pick-up location service in Pinellas Park, FL 90 miles north.Edward M.

When I arrived for my pick up the entry gate got damaged by another customer. I was having trouble with my reservation and despite the chaos outside the employees were incredibly patient with me and able to help me on my way. The girl who checked out the vehicle to us was very nice and professional, but the guy who checked the van back in was a rude, the if. Not only did he try to rip us off, he was rude and hateful. He told me I owed $98.00 and change. When I questioned the bill, he squwaked and became meaner. He snapped at me requesting my last name while checking his computer. How could he quote me the original price without my name. The discussion got worse once I challenged him, he even through the girl who checked us in, under the bus. When I told him what the girl said to me upon checking the vehicle out, he told me that she must have been being nice. What does that mean, that she is usually mean and unprofessional like him? Not only did this jerk try to rip me off charging me 98 dollars rather than the 68 that I owed, he ruined my mood first thing in the morning. I was his first customer of the day. I feel sorry for anyone who had the misfortune of encountering this guy after me. I will never go back to this store/location, ever! You are only as good as your employeesJimari H.

I was told at arrival truck was double booked. Had to wait 45 minutes for truck that was dropped off to be given to me. Per oderea dolly and there were none available. I had an overall pleasant experience with U-Box during my cross-country move. Initial loading and final unloading for a single box were great. Unfortunately, my U-Box arrived 10 days late due to a box mix-up, but I was well-compensated for the long delay, which I thought was very fair. I would recommend their services.Zachary Z.
The woman who did the transaction was abrupt and sharp, almost rude. She was not wearing a mask and sneezed on my credit card and drivers license. She never smiled or made me feel as though I mattered as a customer. She needs to learn some people skills, patience and politeness. She should not be dealing with customers.
