I rented a motorcycle trailer when I picked the trailer up I was in a little bit of a rush and didn’t look at it one of the tire rims was so rusted. I don’t even know how it stayed on the trailer this trailer when I got to my destination and looked at it had no license plate on it so not only did you give me an unsafe trailer that I probably could’ve killed someone or been killed or totaled what I had in it because you gave me unsafe and unregistered so unprofessional and so dangerous and pretty much when I went back that I laughed at me and didn’t even go look at the trailer and I brought it back a day early and they charged me for the extra day still

I arrived at 6am because that was my reservation time. Mind you I biked there because I had no one to take my car (6 miles). I got an error on my app saying to call customer service. I found out they forgot to leave the key for me in mobile pick up. I waited till I saw an employee around 6:20. The employee walked past me and went in the employee entrance. They got a coffee then yelled at me to stop knocking on the door, told me to wait till 7, then left. I was late to where I needed to be because I had to wait. This was all very inconvenient. I would like a small refund to make up for the time of work that I lost. I do not want credit for next time either, I don’t plan to use uhaul again unless I get some kind of refund.

I had a positive experience here, I had an online reservation and when I got there I decided to go into the office. The process was straight forward, no added fees and the guys working the counter were really nice. Once I brought my van back, same easy process to check back in.

Paperwork indicated more gas than actually in truck. Was charged for 5 gallons of gas plus service charge. Had to go in to correct. No issues with credit.Also tried to call in twice and left on hold. After 10 minutes each time, hung up.Truck clean, check out easy, employees nice.

Truck had a Gatorade bottle in the cab. The passenger door gasket was hanging down/off. The blankets were in the cab- green wire tie was broken. Truck only had a 1/4 of a tank of fuel.

La manager es una persona muy atenta, lo malo es que solo ella pueden ayudar a resolver algún problema y si ella no está nadie más puede ayudar, lo otro es que no tengo acceso a cualquier horario ya que considero que si pago y tengo mi clave de acceso personal porque no poder entrar a la hora que yo necesite entrar, espero y eso cambien para poder recomendar o yo misma volver a usar sus servicios gracias

The worst U-Haul storage facility that I’ve ever witnessed. They have homeless people staying there overnight sleeping in the storage units & bathroom. Staff is the worst except the Latino that wears glasses & the young man Chris. I was assaulted by a staff member and he called police on me lying about I assaulted him, thank god the Cameras work at front desk. The manager has a crackhead lady name Valerie that cleans up & tells on people about there business, she sleeps on the rolling steps at night. She thinks the U-Haul is hers & she’s super high & drunk everyday in there. There rats 24-7 & cockroach’s the big ones in the summer all in units. The manger listens to the crackhead & gave her the keys to the late payment locks which she got them stolen so it’s a breach of security! She and others smoke in building & bathroom.PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS U-Haul. I recommend anywhere else in the world!!!!

I never did get that phone app to work when I when I was returning the key late at night it was a pain in the neck.INext time I a need to rent a truck I will probably look for a provider that has a key return procedure like UHaul used o have.

Equipment NOT well maintained but inside clean The truck was the worst I ever got the front bumper was hanging. it felt like it was going to stall on me every time I came to a stop it was shaking it felt like it needs a wheel ailment also when making a left turn there was a scraping noise. Yeah worst truck ever !!! But customer service was excellent

I do not advertise commercial establishments for free, which is why I will not publicly recommend this location to friends. You should talk to the City of Plainfield about its broken glass problem, as it caused a blowout of one of my hand truck tires, delaying my move-out by several days. Also, I lost a caster wheel to a track in one of Plainnfield’s sidewalks. Fortunately, I was able to borrow my ex-wife’s Subaru to complete the move-out.

There are people living in there and every time we go there it’s a mess in the halls. The worst part is there is no elevator. It’s unacceptable.

Staff stares instead of speaking out loud to even acknowledge guests. Front doors locked unnecessarily with multiple, conflicting explanations provided to me and corporate. Zero follow-up from management to resolve issues. Dead roaches and rats in hallway and bathroom, rat feces in storage areas. Listed office hours are not kept, staff freely admits they close early and have verbally reported earlier close times than those listed on the door.

It is truly a blessing to have a company like Uhaul in my Plainfield community. The staff Johanna, Eduardo, Angel, Katheryn, and Darneal are the most pleasant, responsible, and professional customer service representatives I have interacted with. Keep up the good work!

I am the senior citizen. I cannot take that storage spot because it have to go downstairs. I thought that at least I’d be ground level or he would have an elevator so I won’t be taking that spot unless you can give me a unit that’s straight from the street, not downstairs please get back to me or I’ll have to cancel this unit.

Using the truck to relocate from Cleveland Ohio to Plainfield N.J. was stressful but the pick-up of the Uhaul in Cleveland was a great experience due to the wonderful gentleman that I retrieved the truck from.. Once I arrived in Plainfield it only got better as the Lady there made my transaction experience smooth with giving me customer service!!

The young lady that was the manager with the 2 long pony tails was not only super professional but she went above and beyond being helpful to me. I think she had just got off but she stayed a while after to make sure that I was taken care of. Im new to Jersey and she was my first impression to great customer service. Daniel was professional yet overwhelmed. His coworker Fryer was no help at all and was extremely rude and unprofessional to every single customer he came into contact with in the store and outside in the parking lot. It was if he was looking to get fired or fight. I've never witnessed anything like it. My reservation was changed without my knowledge, consent, nor authorization. The location locked doors and refused to answer the phone at 6:20 despite closing time listed at 7pm. I've filed a formal complaint and hopefully will get some of my money back from this terrible experience. Never using uhaul again after removing my belongings from storage.

I can’t get past how rude and unprofessional the employee at the desk was. He was slamming doors at customers and coworker, yelling at his coworker who was quietly cleaning and moving the trucks, sighing and making passive aggressive marks at customers, and telling them to “hurry up because he wanted to go home at 5.” He also got mad and walked away from me when I said I had to back out of renting a space because they had no elevator and that would make moving in and storing my furniture impossible. This was such an unpleasant experience that I also cancelled my truck rental from this location because I did not want to deal with him again.
