I would like to thank Matt King for all of his help, it has always been a delight when he happens to be there when we rent. He makes the rental agreement time as well as check-in process go smoothly. While I was there, I was able to observe that other staff was having a problem and he did not hesitate to offer his help as well as fix their problem. He is a total asset to your company. Recently we have needed uhaul more than ever with so many changes in moving my sister and my son's belongings to and from various locations. It is unfortunate that the other locations could not be as helpful as this one is. Thanks again Mr. King for all of your help. I didnt check the truck out, my husband drove it. When he got to the house and open the back it was really dirty, muddy every where. My son sweep it. But we let them know, another worker came over and said something it, and said that the truck shouldnt went out looking like that. Apparently somebody didnt check it out. I think that we shouldve gotten something off of my bill. The person that parks the vehicle should check the trucks first before they give them out.

I rented the 9 ft cargo van on a Sunday evening for a 24-hr period. Just needed to take home a purchase from a nearby mattress store and I saved over $100 by using this U-haul rental instead of the store's delivery option. I also moved 11 pieces of patio furniture from my sister's house to mine (100 miles round trip). Very affordable option, convenient pick-up & return process. Josh was very informative during rental pick-up and Craig was very attentive & thorough during rental inspection upon next-day return. Both were professional and covered all details I needed to make my rental experience a seemless & pleasant. Will definitely use and/or recommend for future needs. Very satisfied.

I am beyond upset with my service on Friday 07/12/2019. I did reschedule from Thursday at 1 pm to Friday at 1 pm and was told it was fine. I arrived on Friday seemed ok, the man came out, they announced here is you next job, he took my keys said it's 1:00 come bacjk at 2:30. I am back at 2:30, my SUV is parked out side, another white SUV on the lift and they say he got backed up. I questioned it got a blown off type answer, and they said an hour. Went across the street came back now 3:25, still not done, they say 20 minutes. I walked out the door at close to 4:00. I get to my vehicle open the back gate and a 3 foot wire is laying there to plug in to a trailer. I am not satisfied, I exspectd the wire to be on an assembly by the hitch like normal. I am calling Monday, if not resolved to my satisfaction I will hold the credit card payment. I did not go back in, it didnt seem with no disrespect that any management type personal were working.

I have no complaints about the location or staff, but I will NEVER rent with Uhaul again. The trailor i rented had black residue on the floor that transferred to my belongings. Vn worse, the trailor was not at all weatherproof and rainwater ruined all of my belongings. I purchased the expensive $70 insurance, but my claim was immediately denied because it doesnt cover rain damage. I'm using Penske from now on.

The call-center messed up my entire order. They sent me to route 51 and said I could pick up a u-haul at 7 am when the store was not open and did not place a 24 hour pick up. We showed up at 7 am and the building sign stated that it would open at 9 am. We called the helpline which did not help at this point I thought I would NEVER use u-haul again. Then I meet Josh and he stopped what he was doing to get us on the road before 9 am. He was professional and knew what he was doing. He told us how to return it after 5 pm, however with all the miss information the call center gave us I wanted to deal with Josh to return the van. With hurrying through the move, Josh was there when we returned the van. Again Josh did a wonderful job of checking the van over and getting us on our way again. Without Josh the move would have not been completed on time. Thank you, Josh and the route 51 u-haul center.

The ball hitch was so rusty that when I was pulling my trailer (the reason I rented the truck) my camper fell off on a highway. The ball rusted enough that it didn’t grab the equipment and my ten thousand dollar camper was damaged. Then rentwest the insurance company stayed the insurance I bought and was told would be covered, was not. You need covers for the ball hitches to avoid the rust! I’ll never rent a uhaul again. And I will also be sharing my experience on social media.

I did not like the fact that the employee had to use their personal cell phone to take a picture of my drivers license (front and back ). I asked why it wasn’t a business phone and he said they loose battery life too quickly. I thought this was odd. Didn’t like this at all!!!!!

The tiny older mustached gentleman who was helping me with my trailer was borderline incompetent and so small and weak that he couldn't even lift the trailer to put it on my car. I ended up putting the trailer on myself while the miniature man went to seek help from a more useful employee. It also took him about 6 minutes to locate my name on his little screen pad so its not just his physical stature that seems to be lacking. If you are going to hire a 5 foot tall man to work for you, you shouldn't give him a job where he has to lift trailers by himself.

Person tried to charge my card for the wrong amount...by $300!!! They were rude because I didn't pull into the "return lane" which wasnt labeled so I wasn't aware existed. There was a nicer way to ask me to pull the truck around, I would have gladly done so.

This was the worst service that I have ever had. It took them almost a week to finalize my receipt should give me a refund from my deposit. I had to call multiple times and even had the call center call the general manager.the store never answered the phone and neither did the general manager. once I told them I wanted a full refund of my money then they chose to close out my receipt. I have requested multiple calls from the store and have not gotten any. I requested for a car from the general manager and still have not heard from them yet. I want a full refund of my money and I will never use this location ever again. They are unprofessional and do not do things in a timely manner they do it on their time or whenever it is convenient for them. after this experience I don't think I will ever use uhaul again I will go through another company for my moving needs.

Well, the man doing the walk around inspection, before you leave the lot, could be nicer and not treat you like you're planning to drive the vehicle through the jungle, especially after taking out the extra insurance on it. On the other hand, it just shows that he cares about the equipment.

The truck drove terrible. I believe it needed a front end allignment. The truck did not drive good and made me uncomfortable. I'm glad I didn't have far to go. Who puts 3/8 gas in a tank. It should be at least on half. It's easier to measure.

My experience at this location was great once again. When I showed up to pick up the truck Matt helped me again like he did when I picked up last Friday. He remembered me and asked me how my wedding was because we talked about that on Friday when I picked up a truck to get tables and chairs for the wedding. That sort if personal attention and courtesy goes a really long way and really shows what kind of employee Matt is. When I returned he also checked my truck back in and I was out of there in less than 5 minutes. Any time I need to rent a truck I will be going to this location.

We had a fairly confusing situation bc we had two reservations due to our move date changing. There were also two different size trucks for each reservation. Between Craig and the two woman at the front desk, we were able to get it sorted out for us to have the bigger truck we needed for the time we needed. They were great.

The check in by phone program needs much work. It is redundant, the interface is not user friendly, and is considerably slower than just going in the office to check in. That is if it works at all. It was a waste of time for me.

My experience from start to finish was great. The guy that I dealt with initially was really quick and efficient and got me out of there quickly. My check in process with Craig was also super fast and efficient. I will be renting from this location again Monday and I'm sure my experience will be just as good then. I will always try to use this location when renting.

My friend left her phone in the truck. I called and the girl who answered was short with me, said nothing was found. Our conversation lasted less than 30 seconds. My friend called and pushed harder on the issue because she was 100% sure she left her phone in the truck. The girl was short with her as well and just kept saying it wasn’t there without ever even double checking. After my friend calmed down and got her thoughts together she called and this time got a gentleman who was very patient and kind and had her stay on the phone with him while he looked around and checked.well he found it. When we went back to retrieve the phone my friends went up to the gentleman at the counter and said hi i left my phone here and he gave her the phone. The girl said “oh someone turned it in?” And my friend simply said no he went and looked for it and found it. My friend is here staying because her son had a double lung transplant and we rented the truck to get her a bedroom set. She has been sleeping on an air mattress for about a year now. Her debit card, phone and medical cards are all extremely necessary in her life due to the medical issues of her son. She also didn’t sleep for TWO days due her son having heart issues. I am so mad that this girl that you employ brushed it off like it was nothing. I’m not asking for anything free reimbursed I’m not even asking for an apology but someone needs to teach this girl how to work customer service. How to accommodate customers, show some empathy. I don’t want to see hired fired but coached. Possibly she will learn a life lesson as well.

Food wrappers in the truck. Also, Truck was supposed to have 1/2 tank of gas, it only had 1/4 tank...(I took a picture). But the contract said I had to bring it back at 1/2 tank. Called the manager moments after I left the store, his words were “it’s not our fault, you should have checked it before you left.” Said there was nothing he was gonna do about it and proceeded to list the fees and charges I would incur if I didn’t put it to half a tank. So I returned it with more than half a tank cause that’s the type of person I am, and the manager at this location showed what type of person he is. Terrible customer experience. Would like to be reimbursed for the extra 1/4 tank I put in but we all know that won’t happen.

I have rented from this location several times. There is always long lines. I also rented a storage unit at the time. It was a very long process even though I had it reserved ahead of time. The employee was new and need assistance. The one in charge was dismissive and condescending to her and kept leaving to help others. We were assigned a unit that still had a lock on it. Which wasted more time. This was especially annoying since we were paying for laborers to stand around while we had to stand in line again to get help.

Waited for 30 mins just in line to get a trailer. 2 out of 3 card readers were constantly needing reset. One employee had to show the others how to get thru certain issues on your computer software. Would be faster at a uhaul with the self checkout.

The service was excellent. The gentleman who served me was thorough. I wanted a flat bed but truck hitch was not rated handle the weight. Despite my insistence to use it anyway he refused. I respect that and his stance and adhesion to company policy. He should be trusted with a territory of his own. He would make a great district manager or regional manager.

I was charged an additional $55 by mistake and it seems like no one in this company can comprehend what I am saying and how to fix it. Was told the money would be on hold until I returned the vehicle. I was then charged that same day and then charged 2 more times the following week without explanation to why I was never refunded my additional charge. Awful service all around at this location once again.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK MR. KING FOR ALL OF HIS HELP IN US RENTING THE VEHICLE AS WELL AS THE STORAGE UNIT, HE TOOK THE TIME WITH ME TO PHYSICALLY GO AND SEE THE LOCATION AREA. As always I had an amazing experience renting from your location. Can't remember the guys name who checked me in but he was very helpful with the entire process. Even coming out to explain something to me that I couldn't figure out. Josh and Zac at check in did an great job also and were very helpful with finding out if I could get a discount for our non-profit childhood cancer foundation. We have a couple fundraisers a year that require a truck and I always have a great experience with your team. The only thing you could do to improve my next rental is to have my sons picture on the side. I submitted an image with his face on a truck. He was 8 and passed away in 2015 and we started a childhood cancer foundation in his name to raise funds for research and to help other families with childhood cancer!. Thank you. The staff was amazing! Very helpful! I had to move to another state, I was moving everything by myself. The team in Claritin blvd are top notch! Somehow a company in Oklahoma instead of Pennsylvania got selected, though I searched by zip code, so don't know what happened there. They should have realized the mistake though, since they got the address from the booking.

the entire experience was beyond my expectations; had to make a "literally" last minute change in truck size after realizing at the original location, I had under estimated the size of vehicle need; called customer care they found the larger truck at Pleasant Hill, took all the necessary info; cancelled the previous reservation and the larger truck was ready to go upon my arrival within 20 minutes of the initial call...Well done team U-Haul... My experience was great. I just needed to rent an appliance dolly for the day. In the morning Danielle was very pleasant and got me taken care of very quickly. Craig helped me out with the return of the dolly in the same manner.

My only ever complaint was that I was told initially that I would have a first floor unit. I have severe arthritis. Instead they assigned me an upper level unit with stair access.

Reserved large unit online. I was given two smaller units instead. It took months to straighten out the payment, charging double for their mistake. Manager was unresponsive. Very frustrating.
