No one explained to me that there were steps to get to the unit which we found difficult but our main issue was the height of the unit. We had a truck full of furniture that would have been too tall to fit in this unit and also a fridge. I was never told the type of storage I was offered was short. So only a small load of stuff was brought there. I had to rent another place Saturday from A normal style storage unit. The uhaul storage was free to us however the unplanned mileage put on the uhaul truck cost me extra money. I will be contacting uhaul about this because not only did I have to rent a unit elsewhere I now put an additional 20 miles on the truck. And ontop of that I'm going to have to pickup everything I did put at the uhaul facility another day.

Wiper blades were in safe. Fuel tank was not full when I picked it up. I have a picture of it! I filled it back up to where it was. They charged me 8.50 since it wasn't full. I want that re imbursed. Tell me where to send that picture and I'll show you!

It's not because of the staff or service that I wouldn't recommend this store, but because of the physical location. Pulling the uhaul out of the lot onto the nearby road was terrifying, and if I was returning it to the same location (instead of moving out of town), I don't think I would have been able to maneuver the truck back into the lot.

The full coverage on the vehicles should be included into the price of the rental. Just my opinion. I haven't rented a truck in like 25 yrs. I went to uhaul expecting to pay around $40 to $50 to rent a small box truck for the day. Ended up costing me damn near $100. That's a hit! This pandemic hass me beyond broke and $100 I wasn't expecting to shell out cuts a little deep. Other than that my experience was stellar. Jessica that rented me the truck was very friendly and professional. Very thorough.

I had a great experience with your sale rep Jessica Fawcett. As we conducted our vehicle inspection we notice a couple of errors that didn't correspond with what was on the contract. Rather then trying to explain, she just asked me did I wanted to go back into the store so she can input the corrections and print me out another correct contract. The errors were so minor I thought against it. Just by Jessica offering to adjust the errors says a lot about her character and the type of people U-Haul employ's. She's a keeper.

I wasn't able to close the back cargo door. About 1 foot before being fully closed, the door stopped. Being female I needed to find a man to close the door. He also struggled with closing it. If there wasn't a man nearby, the door wouldn't have been closed.

The representative seemed very confused and lost. The information that was entered was incorrect and had to be retype multiple times. I ordered furniture pads which they supplied the incorrect amounts of. They later charged me for missing pads which I had to call in to get corrected.

Great Experience. Great customer service. My only suggestion is to put a trailer Jack on the double axle trailer I had to assist the employee in lifting it on and off which isnt an issue but unnecessary.

This is a popular and busy location. Depending on time a day, could take some time to get in and out, but other times it's really quick. This recent visit went excellent with both pick up and drop off. Employees were courteous and attentive and made the experience a good one. Only issue that I sometimes have is with the pads, not always getting the right number in the bundle. Thanks for helping make the move go smoothly.

arranged for furniture dolly...didn't have it when I got there. Offered remote check in; still had to wait in line. Told me there was no parking and there was parking once I had already parked remotely. That said,net, a very good experience. Nicely run location with a lot of equipment. U-haul fills an important need and these guys deliver.

They should help customer go over the checking of the vehicle. The kids were nice but sent me out by myself to look the truck and tow dolly over. I went back in a couple times for their help. I feel they should have went out with me to make sure I done everything right.

The truck they gave me had the window left down and there was a snow drift on the passenger seat, I reserved moving blankets and didn't get them, and a dollar a mile is ridiculous.

Half of the storage units in this facility are accessible only by stairs, including the unit I rented. I will not renew and would not recommend this facility to anyone, in fact I would warn them if the wanted to rent here.

I made several trips to move out. Once, the sliding doors weren't opened. This was around noon, so it wasn't because it was off hours. This made it very difficult to move out using the door, which is down a narrow hallway. I called to let them know it was locked and waited on hold for over 15 minutes. Apparently, you get kicked over to a hotline when you call. She was no help, said to just go inside and tell them. I said I will not, that nobody wears masks that work there, even though it's required by our Governor to wear them in businesses. Once, I came a little after 7pm, and access to the storage units were closed. Online and on the sign, it is posted that OFFICE hours close at 7pm, however it states that access to storage units were to be until 10pm. Wasted trip all the way down there. Because of that, I had to scramble to move out the day of. There is always junk in the parking lot, at least by the loading dock where I frequented. Because I made so many trips every day to my unit, I noticed some used band-aids a little further down in the hallway. They were there for days and to my last day, were still there. Everything is so dark and dingy inside, also. Rent kept going up. Once, I received a notice that they were painting, so they needed to raise the rent to keep it maintained. When they painted it looked fresh and new. However, it was not maintained. I noticed when I was moving out, that several holes were patched all around, but never painted over. So, all you see are all these spackled holes everywhere. Lastly, as I mentioned, nobody there wears masks. It took me over a week, making a total of 30 trips to move everything and so I saw several times throughout the week of employees talking close to customers with no mask on. Whether it be showing a customer a new unit inside, behind the the counter at service, or them showing or receiving storage trucks from customers, they never wore a mask. I saw all customers wear them. There is even a sign in their window to please wear one upon entry. I understand it's inconvenient, I know, I moved wearing one the whole time. Some days were very hot, and yet I kept it on for respect of others.

The unit was clean, but I was extremely disappointed to find that my large storage unit was located on the 2nd floor with the only access to the unit was to carry large, heavy items up steps. There should be ramp access. The unit door height is also very low which made getting oversized items extremely difficult to get into the unit.

PSA - Remove your belongings from you unit BEFORE the start of the new month. I cleared mine out four days after I had paid the monthly fee. U-Haul doesn't pro-rate (so they can rent the same unit out to someone else that I'm still paying for)....
