Exceptional service! Went in to have my old hitch system removed and a new one installed on my 2015 Ram truck, because I had a seized tow bar in the current receiver. They realized that the one they ordered wouldn’t work for my truck, but since they already had the bumper off the truck, they pounded out the stuck tow bar for me! They even went as far as cleaning the receiver and applying anti-seize for me! Highly recommend!

determining if preexisting damages are noted in photos provided for each side, front and rear view is next to impossible even when you enlarge the photo it becomes blurred. process does not work., especially for a truck with multiple dings, scratches and dents. process for logging all of this myself and submitting electronically is too time consuming and a hassle when under time constraints. i will return to using Penske again for next year's move. Better / easier process and better equipment.

Turn on the Truck and check for all signals, lights and windshield wiper function, in addition to a physical damage inspection to the moving truck, before reissuing it out to the next customer. I got two exits away before my right wiper just popped right out of place, on a rainy day too.

I rented a trailer two weeks in a row with a customer service is the worst I've ever seen in my life!. Rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I'd be fired in 5 minutes if I performed like that at my service job.

Entire process worked well except the check in website at uhaul.com/share didn't work, wouldn't give me the option to change fuel levels or add in milage. Not the folks at this location's fault, 5 starts for them, 3 stars for Uhaul IT.

I moved into a brand new house, concrete was laid 1 week prior to this rental and the truck leaked oil in my driveway. I am pissed off. I paid nearly 300 dollars to rent this truck and it messed up a large investment. Its pretty easy to check if the trucks are leaking oil, now i have 2 huge spots in my driveway thanks to Uhaul not taking care of their trucks. I would never recommend someone rent a uhaul again.

The way you size your trucks is EXTREMELY misleading. I rented a 15' truck thinking that the size of the main box would be 15'. You guys measure from the top where it extends father. When you're trying to figure out what size truck to get, you'd think that the size advertised would be the measurement of the box and not including "grandma's attic". Also your policy of not renting out "one way" trucks to someone who would be bringing it back in a few hours is strange. Why not rent the thing out and make some money on it verses having it sit there not making money.

I have been a rental customer with the Port Washington, Wi store in the past and have had some issues with one of the staff and received an apology email from the manager. Moving forward last fall I had inquired about a hitch installation on my daughter's vehicle and I was quoted about $230. My daughter came to visit last week, for a couple of days and I wanted to get a bike hitch no wiring installed. I called to make a reservation and I was quoted somewhere around $375 dollars.??? I was told it would be charged for up to 3 hours of labor. This was not the information given to me. I looked online and it showed half hour installation time and the same information was given to me last time I inquired at the store. I asked to speak with the Manager to verify and I was told he was unable to speak to me and she did not make any effort to forward my inquiry to him. I called a couple of other U-hauls located on the other side of the city but had long wait times for my inquiry. My daughter went back home to Jackson, Wy. I called the Idaho Falls store and was very pleased with their customer service but my daughter had to drive 2 hrs over the mountain pass to get there, but at least we received great service at the price quoted to us. Of course there was an additional fuel cost to get there but worth it to get good service. She was happy with the installation and service and it only took half and hour.I hope in the future the U-Haul in my area becomes more informed and customer service oriented Thanks Stan Wolniakowski

Sorry, but I don't see the point of these review submittals. Companies do not look at these nor really care until it affects $$$'s in the company. Didn't have a problem with the location but a problem with the business itself so that is why the negative option was selected for each question. I had a situation where Uhaul rep did not do their job properly inspecting the condition of the equipment from the previous customer. In the end it cost me a lot of money.

When I picked up the truck, the guy was very friendly and helpful. When I returned the truck (early), a different guy was there and he was not helpful or friendly. Seemed to be in a really bad mood. Also, I drove a total of 33 miles and had to put 8 gallons of gas in the truck to fill it back up to "full". Terrible mileage.

Easter sunday, returned a trailer after church. They said i was over 1 hour past the "new day" drop off time so they "couldn't" do anything about it....really, CANT do anything about that, its manually entered into a computer. this is either a leadership problem in the organization or a management situation of enabling service reps to be empowered to do what is right.

I booked the reservation at a location near my home so it would be convenient. The day prior to picking it up I was informed that I would have to pick up the truck 25 mi away from my home which added over an hour to my day. In addition when I got the truck, the gas tank was already near empty. Other than that the truck worked great and the people were kind.

The gas on the contract was more than what was in the tank. I didn’t have time to argue so I took a picture. I got charged for gas but the picture got the charges reversed

I rented a U-Haul from another location and found it unsafe to drive. I was able to make it to the Saukville location where I received 5-star customer service. Due to this service, you went from losing a customer, to gaining one who will recommend your company. Thank you!

Put up a sign regarding what to do with the vehicle when you arrive to drop off. There was no one around, I parked the truck put the key in the drop box, then I guy comes running up having a fit because I didn't put the truck where I was supposed to. . . ugh. I don't do this everyday!

Although the locations I was provided were clean and courteous, the reservation system personnel were incompetent. They couldn't guarantee my reservation for the size I needed. What good is a reservation if they cant actually reserve the vehicle. I talked to 3 people; the last whom was a supervisor, to get the reservation. It literally took almost an hour to make a simple reservation. Then I wanted a 15' truck which they said wasn't available , however there was one at the pick up location. The counter guy said that was only available for local moves. In addition, they changed my pick up location which was an additional 10 miles. After negotiating, they gave me a 20' truck which was supposed to be at the same cost. The paperwork they emailed didn't have the correct rate. The franchisee at the pick up location adjusted the price which I agreed to with the reservation personnel. I would suggest trying to find the direct number to the local location and deal directly with them. I will never use the 800 reservation line again and if it is feasible I eould use Penske rental.
