The mobile pickup and sign in process is slow. I should be able to do 95% of that before I arrive. I specifically needed a furniture dolly and selected to have it with the truck. I assumed it was in the truck when I picked it up and when I got to my destination there was no dolly. I wasn't able to pick up the item because of this. So I paid for a truck I didn't use. Could not be more disappointed in Uhaul or my self for not checking before I left.Sean C.

The manager at the U Haul location in Saukville, WI, (Jermaine) was very helpful and courteous. However, 2 of the employees there were not. Both had little to no experience working with U Boxes. I had to hand hold the employees through the process and there were issues/problems throughout the entire rental process. Finally, the U Haul drop-off team in Florida didn't even bother telling me when their truck had a flat that they were not coming to deliver the U Box due to the flat--extremely unprofessional and discourteous. Other than in-city moves, I will never use U Haul again for out of state moves.Timothy D.

The communication stunk for reserving a 10' truck and 5' x 9' trailer. We thought that these items would be held for us at our requested destination. We only found out, by chance, two days before, that only the trailer would be available and the closest truck would be over 60 miles away. NOT COOL!!! They also said somebody called me that same morning and said I was ok with this situation. NOBODY called me. After three stressful and frustrating hours, we were finally able to borrow somebody's Ford Edge and pick up the trailer ONLY from our desired location. Darren was great from Mercier Properties LLC in Iron River, MI. I don't think I'll be using U-haul for future endeavors.CHARLES S.

Our appliance dolly had a crank that didn't work. However the 2 employees we worked with at the Saukville location were extremely helpful and very friendly and customer oriented. This was by far the best experience we've ever had at UHaul due to those 2 employees. They were working there on 9/5 & 9/6.THOMAS D.

I used the online/app to check out my vehicle. Couple of things of note. The application had tons of information, and was easy enough to use and complete check out. My one comment though, the one thing missing for those of us that don't do this very often. We are advised through the app to identify the target vehicle via the "number" of the vehicle, however none of the instructions explain where to find said number. Other than that false start, no worries. I was a bit distressed to find the vehicle with only 1/4 tank of gas, must be the only time I have renting a vehicle where such was the case.Leslie B.

We had trouble from the check-in on. We couldn't get the lock on the back of the truck open and after being told by the man in the lot that I couldn't bread he too had problems getting it open. The truck was filthy inside. There was a pair of flip flops on the floor and food crumbs, all over we had to wipe down the truck before we left the lot. When we asked if the trucks are cleaned out between people the guy who told me I couldn't read told us he didn't know, it wasn't his job. When we pulled my husband opened the back up and the dolly we rented wasn't in the truck so we had to find someone to get us a dolly. Hopefully I won't have to rent from there again.Lyn M.
I had planned to pick up the truck at 7am. The app was not working so I had to wait 2 hours for the store to open. I'm glad I was first in line as the other 4 parties had to wait for the one employee to process every order. I know others were complaining about the app not working for them either. Also, the convex mirror on the passenger side was broken which made driving difficult. And it was not disclosed as broken at the time of pickup.MICHAEL A.

The customer service was excellent when I called to find a different pick up location than I planned. Operator was very helpful in changing to a closer location that had the size of trailer I needed. Info was transferred to the new location and I picked up the trailer an hour or so after my call. Thanks for the great experience.Mike M.

The item I reserved was not there. Apparently someone at uhaul changed my order. Had a new kid working , could not use computer could not answer basic questions could not help hook up a trailerPatricia V.
When we hooked up the trailer my car gave an error for the left side light. I checked and the trailer light was not working. I went back into the counter and the girl there acted like there was nothing she could do. Finally she agreed to try and find a new connection wire set. She found one and we replaced it and the lights worked perfect. My beef was/is that her initial response was that she couldn't help or even wanted to try and fix this situation. I wasn't going to take a larger box trailer which hid the tail lights of my car with tail lights that all weren't working. Just struck me as odd and a bit irresponsible.Jan P.

The tow dolly had broken welds on it and a missing pin to hold the ramp in closed position. The wheel well cover was tied down where the broken weld was with wire, that came undone while driving with it. Everything about this experience has been an absolute nightmare. I had originally reserved 2 u-boxes and they didn't have any trailers to put them on. After 2 hours of talking between them and being on hold I finally settled on getting a 15' truck and car dolly because I was moving across country and needed a solution. I was promised that I would be charged the same price as the 2 u-boxes for the truck and I accepted that I was going to pay an extra $500 in gas. I was still charged full price and my entire contract was all messed up.Cory J.

This was literally the most difficult process of my life. I was not at all informed that someone would have to verify who I am in order to rent this truck. So you called my mother, who does not live anywhere near me to verify that I can rent a truck. You are literally discriminating against single people who don't have someone for you to call and verify that they are able to rent a truck. After this ridiculous process of having to call my mother and verify me, I was given the keys to the wrong truck in the box. So I had to go inside, wait, and listen to the employee complain about your service for over 15 minutes while I waited for the correct key. Upon return, no one informed me that I had to fill the tank back up to where it was. There was a mileage fee that I thought would cover the gas but nope, I got charged a refilling fee since I didn't fill it back up exactly to the line. I will never use your service again.Ashley S.

They gave me a car dolly trailer that had a burnt out tail light and the guy acted like it was nothing. If it wasn't for the fact that I rented the truck and was paying storage for the car I would have never took it!! Very sad that they would let equipment go out knowing it has safety issues!! The employee who helped me during my rental was great. The employee that handled my return was terrible. I had a few questions about my bill. The associate had an attitude. These are simple questions. While I understand people can have a bad day, I'm not sure this was the case. While I was waiting for him to blow me off again, a customer returned a truck that dealt with blowouts on his tires. The same employee was rude to him as well. Not a good look for this location. I spent close to 1000.00 dollars, I would be more specific but I still don't know what I was charged. Apparently there is a mix up with the trucks and uhaul can't tell me what I will be charged I look forward to recieving the receipt which I will audit carefully as I don't have any confidence it will reconcile with my number.Travis G.

The clerk when I dropped off the trailer must have had a bad day, as when I asked for a printed receipt I could tell I was making him work, and he was not happy, but after the second request and a sigh I got the receipt.JAMES W.
