Prepaid for blankets for the weekend, returned 2 days early and was charged AGAIN and it was in their computer under a completely incorrect name but the email was correct. Totally understaffed and hard to find the ONE employee. Then employee offered me a job! What an insult. Hire more than one person would be a suggestion and one who knows what they are doing!

Your network is not reliable and constantly goes down. Couldn't get a receipt when returning the vehicle due to your system being down.
I have an issue as to the amount of fuel I used and subsequently charged in a recent van rental. The U-Haul rep indicated I used approximately a 1/4 of a tank when I rented a van to travel from the U-Haul location (Port Washington/Saukville) to the Home Depot store in Grafton and back to the original pickup location. The total round-trip distance traveled was 16 miles. There was no delineation on the fuel gauge reguarding the specific amount of fuel used and the judgement of the rep was purely subjective. This will be the last time I will use a U-Hall product. If requested for a recommendation from friends for such friends, rest assured I will not give U-Haul a positive recommendation. Please don't request any such surveys when I'm relatively sure that you really don't care about the customer other than to squeeze every penny out the customer for such service. Have a nice day.

About an hour and half after our arrival at the Saukville, WI location we were finally able to leave. The women that helped us was ok with the exception of undermining and continuously criticizing her coworker and barking orders at everyone who either pulled in or the poor man working when we returned. She is a bossy bessy that I would imagine know one enjoys working with. This was all on Saturday 08-30-2020. She does need to learn some manners and work as a team with her coworkers
Bad part was they changed my pickup location at the last minute even though I made the reservations months in advance. Not nice!
Customer service was awful. Made you feel like a criminal . Trying to find something wrong to ding you for. Gas tank was on 3 quarters full when I pick up. When I returned 3 quarters full they claimed it was 3 quarters and 7/8 full charging me $10.00 extra dollars. Total bull.

It was the worst experience as well as most disrespectful customer service I have ever received. I was in a crisis and mistakenly chose the wrong location for pick-up and yet desperate for a truck immediately. From that moment on, I was treated like a number or even just a "pain." The employees were rude, insensitive and acted like my request was a bother. Not only that, but because I was unable to fill the cargo van despite the appropriate means as stated by the "unopened" manual, I was charged an additional $100 to fill half of a tank. I am outraged!!!! I plan to contact corporate as soon as my health issues are addressed. UHaul ripped me off and made me feel like dirt.
The manager here is so rude! I wanted to pay in cash and had told the person that checked me in that. The manager checked me out and automatically charged the card. He said that's policy, and thats fine, but he kept interrupting me as I was trying to explain that I was paying cash. After charging a card without my consent that doesn't even belong to me, the least he could do is not be a dick.
Not charge them extra for an early return.
Regarding port Washington pick up location. Staff were not wearing masks. This was required by the governor. Would not use this location again!

When I returned my rental, I needed to talk to someone because I used a dolly that I hadn't paid in advance for. The manager was nowhere to be found and the employee that was there was incredibly rude and very unprofessional. There was another couple that needed service and ended up leaving. The guy I initially dealt with (Dan) was incredibly nice, helpful and professional though.
I was less than enthused with the customer service I received. When picking up the vehicle I had very little direction and at the time I was the only customer in the store. I felt like a nuisance rather than a customer. The vehicle was acceptable and online reservation was easy to use. Would recommend more customer service training for employees as many who come to rent trucks/trailers are doing so on a very stressful day. At least walk the person to their rental and ask if they have any questions. Small steps on a stressful day can make at least part of the day a good experience.
