Don't understand how they charged me extra mileage after Uhaul should send a printout

I do wish I would have known, in advance, that the container pickup team (when I filled them) would not be able to pick up any blankets outside the containers. The blankets were left at my residence after the containers were picked up.

Eunice MThe location opened 7 minutes late (I had arrived at the 7am opening time). I was promised a small dolly but none was available. I was charged for a utility dolly but none was provided. There was a dirty spot in the van that should have been tidied up. When I returned the vehicle, there was a problem calculating the mileage that took awhile to fix. (Apparently the odometer reading in the system was wrong.) On the positive side, the equipment worked fine.

Michael ZHave probably rented from U-Haul 50 times over the years. I called toll free number was quoted $138 for 15’ truck and during conversation was told I could rent it for $110 (has happened often, either because of some kind of promotion/special, or because I agree to drop truck off at a location other than my original destination.) went to pick the truck up ( Wilmington to Morehead City, N.C.) and was told $138 and that there was no record of $110 being discussed.). I was already there and needed the truck a few minutes later. Disappointing.
DAVID CIt was our first time using U-Haul and we had a very good experience. Staff was polite and ver accommodating. We definitely recommend this site for pick-up as they also have a lot of trucks available.

RICHARD HThe staff at Porters Neck location went beyond normal help. They made sure we had a truck and helping the time to have it. Someone didn't return a truck so they gave us a different one to make sure we could do our move. Definitely will use again when needed afain.

ANDREW MThe fuel gauge said tank was half full but in reality, it wasn't based on the mileage indicated above the fuel gauge. I did not need a larger truck-nice gesture and would have preferred a smaller truck. The truck vibrated a lot and since I was driving on an interstate, did not feel comfortable driving the truck. Radio did not work, for 2 + hrs, I listened to the vibrations of the truck body-odometer said 19K miles-felt like 119K!
MICHAEL RMy containers were delivered on 2/6, that day I received an invoice for another month. Called the location who said someone would call me back. Never happened so I’ll need to follow up. Josie who delivered and picked up the boxes was outstanding. Very personable and professional. She should be in charge of the place we stored our boxes. So, I expect a call regarding the extra month storage fee

Wayne WI have always had good service from this location. There was something sticky on the cup holder but didn’t interfere with the function. The employee took care of it immediately after I told him about it.
MICHAEL BThe guy operating the Uhaul in Porters Neck area of Wilmington in the morning of January 4th was awful. We have rented from this Uhaul numerous times with no issue at all, until this day. He first refused to rent to us after we drove over an hour to get there. He really needs some kind of customer service training. Simply awful experience and we will never rent from there again. Extremely disappointed.
CHRISTOPHER GI was serviced by a gentleman named Erin. Despite the fact that he was understaffed due to vacation leave of other employees, Erin took me right in as per my scheduled appointment to install a trailer hitch on my 2026 Hyundai Santa Cruz. He simultaneously took care of my needs as well as other customers that entered the store. Again, this poor guy was understaffed due to scheduled employee PTO. Erin never complained once and took care of everything in a professional, pleasant and courteous manner. His installation was clean and neat. I couldn't recommend this location enough and this is solely because of Erin. Thank you again, Erin. Great job. Anthony P

ROBERT BThis place is horrible first we’re u lock it it’s held by one screw second they lie and treat u like nothing my gate did not work for 7 months strait and I complained and all they would say is we will take care of it and never did then to top it off even after all the negative crap they come and tell me that all of my stuff had to be out by the 17 of June with no care in the world as far as we’re my stuff would go now that they surprise u with a kick out and the excuse is we are destroying the storage units just a horrible experience I would never use uhaul again in my life

It appeared to come from under the wall of a neighboring unit. Later when we over a month later when we came to get our things again there was standing water. There was evidence that water had been there for a while. Black mold was evident up more than 2 two inches up any wooden pieces. Granted it was isolated to the back five 5 feet of the unit. We reported it and were told that we have take pictures and file a damage claim. Which do plan on filing. I thought that one of them would have come and looked at the water to see for themselves how it got in or where it came from in the first place.
