I'll start 1st with a critique (not criticism) ; as long as I can remember this U-Hual location has had HORRIBLE lines, and lack of customer parking. It's a very popular office! Now the GOOD stuff: -The van/truck I rented was clean, had lots of power, very decent on the gas mileage, and a strong AC. -The return process is improved from years past. -Prices are very reasonable. -I actually left my wallet in the van. The mileage was incorrect on the vehicle. Uhaul contract stated the mileage was 113 but when I checked the vehicle, it was 133. I took a photo an uploaded to Uhaul Check-in site. I also let the Uhaul agent know. Additionally, i let them know again when I returned the vehicle. I was still charged the incorrect mileage! Now I'm trying to call and fix a problem i didn't create and cannot get anyone on the phone!!!! Why do i have to deal with this nonsense!!! I did my part. My time is valuable!!!!! Everything was fine until an hour after I dropped off the truck. I originally reserved a 10 foot and then edited my reservation to get a 15 foot. System showed two reservations under my name. When I finished at the counter and left with the truck the employee said I was good to go. Picked up the truck at 9 and dropped it off at 1245. An hour later I got a call from An aggressive employee asking where the truck was. She kept asking me over and over to return the truck and I kept repeating myself that I already did. I would really like the corporate office to call me I have complaints from the fact that I cannot reach anyone on the phone I rent it from you have two days in a row my first check wasn't even safe your staff does not properly tell anyone how to use the app to do the return when I try to do the app it forces me to set up a password I couldn't even get a email to reset my password so now you charge me an additional $40 for absolutely no reason I received for customer service absolutely all around that experience please call me at 857-334-5345LOVECHERI R.

Had a problem with the check in app. It would not register the location. Spent 30 minutes trying to get it to work after hours. Was charged the check in fee. Called and talked with manager the next day and they waived. Just exceptional service all the way around and why I will be back the next time I need to rent a truck. I don't agree with this bill. Why did they charge me fuel when I take pictures on my pre trip that morning showing the fuel was not at 3/4 of a tank. This is twice now about a month ago I showed the lady at u haul she said she would change it but didn't and when I came back she was off they try charging me I went and got more fuel. They told me that I needed to take pictures and post back to u haul in the pre trip I did now charge. If this keeps up I rent about 40 trucks a year. I will find another company.FRED A.
This transaction was great and I have not complains about it . Thanks to Brandon the officer who checked my out . However, my other transaction prior to renting this vehicle was horrible. An officer outside Uhaul parking lot exchanged words with me. I did not park well and I was going into the office to asked for help . I stepped out of the office when help arrived but this officer hurriedly locked me out, and I guess to show me who is Boss. I don't remember his name but to begins with â€œZâ€. Our truck was overall clean, but it smelled of weed and there was a black mask on the floor that was kicked out that we didn't notice until we sat inside the vehicle. My original pickup was scheduled in Stafford. I received an email while on the road and got the email after I got to Stafford. When I called the Woodbridge location they said they didn't have the trailer. I had to call the 800 number and was on hold for 50 minutes. It then took the operator another 30 minutes to straighten the mess out. Trailer was dirty on pickup. Had to be cleaned before loading.Paul P.

I will not be using this location again. Informed if equipment will be required for additional days, it was fine. Truck broke down despite needing the equipment another day, but charged after hours service. Trust me, they hook the equipment correct as I've resituated hitch connections. I rented a dolly and it was not on the truck, but I was charged for it. I had to call twice and no one answered at the location so I had to contact customer service twice. What bother me was the GM checked me in and it was the first time I rented a truck and he never made any mention about the gas situation and when I brought the truck back the kept my deposit all but $7.00 and I do not think that that was right to do because they could not print me a receipt stating the process it was email to me after the fact. Customer should not be held accountable for information that they were not given especially when you are being waited on by the GM and I had did all my preregistration ahead of time and he said to me that I had did his job for him.Ellen B.

Was forced to repair strap synch on the trailer. It wad so rusted that I was unable to release it to get my vehicle off of the trailer until it was dismantled and lubricated. Also hold down straps were old and badly frayed and in need of replacement. Last, in the middle of my use several of the driverside running lights and the tail lights stopped working. It is obvious this was an older trailer. It is also obvious that matainance has been poor. I have rented auto trailers several times with none of these issues in the past but I will inspect the next trailer more closely on my next rental.Rickie E.
