I was never able to reach them via phone at any time of day. Their system would put me on hold, then say they're unavailable and hang up on me. I was charged for gas even after filling the truck and have a receipt to show for it. I will not recommend this location to anyone and if asked I'll tell that person to go somewhere else if they have the options. The floor staff was pleasant to work with but the above issues made the overall experience aggravating and unpleasant.

Checking in went very smoothly, checking out was a little harder, but got done after a short wait. Equipment worked well, and we are satisfied with the rental.

Office area appeared clean and well stocked with many moving boxes and other moving aides. That said, they did not have any furniture padding available, even though the website indicated they were available in the quantity I originally ordered (4 bundles). Was told there were none available anywhere in the U-Haul system. Wasn't even sure they were going to be able to provide the utility dolly I had ordered but they did find a new one...their last one...somewhere in the warehouse. Rest of the check-out process was relatively quick and painless. Cargo area of truck was clean but cab floor was dirty and the cupholders and other compartments on the center console were really grotesque. We asked for a wet towel so we could clean them before leaving the site. Even the towel they provided was dirty.

We want to thank “John” who helped us on the reservation line! We needed a truck from the 12-15 to execute a partial DIY military move from Va to Md and we wanted to return the truck to the original vendor because we would have no way to get my husband back to VA with the professional movers here at the house. The first two reps told us it couldn't be done and that I would have to speak to “Scheduling” and that it probably would not be allowed since it would be an in-town move and that we could only have a rental for 24 hours. John, however, helped us get everything scheduled and the our partial move went flawlessly and the folks at the store were very helpful.

Do not attempt to charge loyal customers who return equipment in as good or better condition than received an additional $20 when returning equipment early, albeit after hours.

They need to maintain enough staff to cover all duties especially during summer when it's busy. I waited for 30 min to get a trailer hitched because the guy left and there was only one person left manning both the counter and hookups. Lucky I was not in a big hurry

If you live in the area. Unfortunately I did not, and the location I was supposed to pick up the vehicle did not have it. So I had to go 30 miles out of the way to pick it up. Someone could have called me to let me know I could have made other arrangements.

Big operation but badly managed. The staff was rude, they were not interested in serving the customers. I was made to wait outside in the sun when I returned the van, the lady In braids had a nasty attitude. When I asked for a manager, the response was that's how they treat people here. Never, ever coming back to this location.

My representative was rude because I needed the truck for an additional day . She said now we have to figure out how to help the other customers . I tried online but it wouldn't give me the option and then I ordered Two furniture dollys they didn't even have them available . The kids gave me two other dollys that I didn't need and still charged me .Next time I am picking a different uhaul . I miss when Peggy was the manager everything was organized I didn't feel like I was being an inconvenience to anyone . I am a paying customer the level of customer service has gone down

It is a very bad rental, I have a new no profit FBCL Food Distribution. I rent a van or 10 footer on a monthly bases. The driver doo would not close and when I pressed on the brake to stop the truck the steering wheel shook very bad. I wanted to keep the truck longer but felt unsafe so, I had to return it after my first pickup. The Woodbridge, Va on Telegraph is convenient for me but, I just can't take a chance with a vehicle that I am paying to use anymore it's not worth my life.

The service has improved ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!!! Previously, I went this location and the waiting time in line could be from 30 minutes to an hour. This time, only 20 minutes total time and I was on my way. When I drove to the rear of the building, a gentleman was already waiting for me with the trailer ready to be hitched to my vehicle. He explained to me the correct way to hitch the trailer. Without question and under no uncertain terms, their superior level of performance stands out even in an organization known for exhibiting such outstanding traits. Thanks to the U-Haul employees at this location for a job well done!!!

We picked up the Uhaul cargo van. It was not clean in the interior. The photos and comments provided by Uhaul were incorrect. When we came back to return it they closed early which was unacceptable. Very frustrated and I don't understand the bill, it says $19.95 per day and I was charged $89 per day???

Pick up was great. Drop off was less then desirable. I got back to the location about 5 minutes before they actually closed and the doors were locked and I could clearly see through the windows that the staff was already counting money from the tills. There was another person there for drop off as well. I did the mobile drop off with no issue. Stores aren't supposed to close until the actual time from my experience working retail or customer service.

When I returned the U-Haul last night my personal vehicle had been blocked in by 2 lines of trucks that completely filled the fire lane in front of the building. I had to call a friend to pick my up and get an Uber today to get my vehicle back. There is no signage that indicates customers should not park there, nor was I told that I shouldn't park there. When I asked about why they did that, I was told that it was because the homeless were sleeping in the trucks. I say I'd call the fire marshal next time (they were blocking the fire lane), but there won't be a next time. I'll go out of my way to find an alternative.

My issue wasn't with U-haul directly, but with the “moving help” feature of the company. After having arranged for movers through. Company vouched for by U-Haul, my movers were an hour and a half late without explanation or apology. I had to call over 5x to reach the only number listed for the moving company. When I finally made contact, the representative (who I've spoken to several times) acted as if my purchased moving services were optional stating “I'll see if my guy is available.” My husband and I began moving many of our things on our own. They, in turn, caused the return of my truck rental to run behind, costing me more money.

I had a great experience. I rented a cargo ban, hand truck and pads. I found the initial online booking process to be easy to navigate. When I entered the store for pickup, it was equally as simple. The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. They have ample supplies. I was able to purchase a mattress and box spring cover set that had handles. This was great as my Amazon purchase without the handles was almost 3 times more expensive. It went back. I recommend the Telegraph Road, Woodbridge location for your vehicle or supplies.

The van was not cleaned either from the inside or outside. Check in at the counter was very efficient. Returning the van was frustrating. After speaking to staff inside 3 times over 15 minutes and being told that someone will process the return outside, I had to track a staff person down that i supported arming the corner only for him to take the key and tell me that I'd get an email. Couldn't the staff inside simply all to drop off the key the box and expect an email?! Not related to the location itself, I tried the mobile check in and it was terrible. After taking all the steps that it requires, I got a screen that additional verification was required like a passport and some other documents which is ridiculous since I've only needs the DL at the counter. I'll never try or recommend mobile checking to anyone. It just adds frustration to the process.

The unit 1328 was very poor unfortunately they had a mice/rat problem and I had to throw out my Sofa and lamp because of it. I needed my sofa and it went to trash because of the mice.
