The customer service for this experience was terrible. If it wasn't for the cost of the Ubox and the delivery service. (The delivery drivers were great). I would never use uhaul again. There is no need to be transferred 5-8 different times and be on hold for 45 minutes. When I finally reached the 8th person (wrong location by the way. Ubox was in Estero, FL and AZ helped.) The lady I spoke with in AZ was kind and called the location needed directly. I was told that someone from the correct store will call me back, never happened). I tired the next day when first opened and still on hold for a while. when finally reached someone. I changed my pickup date from 4/5/24 to 4/4/24. I was told that someone will call me to give me an eta later in the afternoon. No one called, I called first thing in the am 4/4/24 to get an eta. I was told I'm scheduled for Saturday 4/6/24 (Never was Saturday discussed). Lady on the phone stated the earliest she can do is Friday 4/5/24. Thats fine. I was disappointed with how rude they were on the phone.

The application for self checkout of the rental was awful. The app would either run really slow, glitchy, or crash altogether. It took me 25 min to get through a process that should probably have taken about 5-10 min max. This caused me to have to worry about being late for my movers and waiting till the store opened up. Other than that, my experience was great.

Just want to say Shannon, they’re the best! Super friendly, helpful knowledgeable. Shannon made me really relax and they made me feel welcome. One less day stressing, I had to deal with that day all because of Shannon. Thank you Shannon I can’t say enough nice things about you.

But, they need to make sure there is ALWAYS someone at the front desk. I stood inside for 15-20 minutes waiting for someone to ask me if they could help. It would be especially bad service if management decided to have too few employees just to save a few bucks.

I was told that the hitch was in Glendale on Monday so we could install in Queen Creek on Wednesday. When I arrived they had no record of my reservation and the part was not in. Needless to say I was very annoyed that I had to come back on Friday. However, once getting the hitch, I was very pleased with the diligence and the completed work by the installer.

Nobody came out to the return area. I started walking towards my ride and to put keys in drop box then someone came out and I had to go at that point. I called them to figure out mileage with no help or resolution. Terrible customer service

Dropped the Uhaul trailer off at 6pm, was told I would receive a confirmation email closing the ticket within 5 minutes. Around 6:45 had not received an email saying order was closed, called the store, no answer, directed to Uhaul support who told me to call back at noon the next day if my order still was not closed. Called back at 1PM the next day because order was not closed, Uhaul support called the store. My order was closed and I received my confirmation email but was charged an extra $31 because they closed the order the day after I had dropped it off. Had to call back to Uhaul support for a THIRD time to get a refund for the extra charge.

This was the third time I was issued Chevrolet Silverado Truck BP 5385 E which each time before I informed the staff that the Trailer light Running lights were not operating on the 7/9 pin receptacle. This time hesitant I asked again if this truck was good to go and was told this truck had no trailer light issues. If this is not fixed next time I rent I will file a safety complaint to corporate with my history of notifying staff about the problem which prevents me from towing a trailer in the dark. I will also use other locations.

I was greatful to have meet Robinson Madera the general manager who I can see cared about customer service and help customer as he helped us with storing our personal beings even doe it can be stressful at times he made the experience less stressful we where disappointed he was moved and saw the difference in customer service as we couldn't even get a simple call back or talk to any the from the office at Queen Creek and power rd uhaul. The service is now horrible as I ask for help and was denied any from uhaul employees so in my opinion uhaul should have never move the general manager Mr. Robinson Madera out of the Queen Creek office what a mistake that was from your Main office or the person who moved him. Well I see dissatisfied in customer future at uhaul on Queen Creek and power rd.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!. "Michael" handled the initial equipment check-out process when we went in to pick up the 6x12 cargo-trailer. He was very friendly, polite, patient and kind to us during the detailed paperwork process. The hook-up process for the trailer to our vehicle was completed in a timely manner, with a thorough safety-check. The one-way trip to Colorado was completed with no problems. We are grateful for the professional expertise of the U-Haul staff and the EXCELLENT outcome of our long journey to Colorado. Could not have been any better! Thank you, U-Haul!

I just want to give my thanks to one of the reps that was very friendly and made my entire, renting, returning and signing up for a storage unit process very easy. Shannon K was my Uhaul rep yesterday when I rented the truck and today when I returned the truck. I even decided to rent a storage unit after Shannon told about the deals going on. This is my 4th experience with Uhaul and by far the smoothest process and best customer service yet. Nice clean facility and great customer service!

I don’t remember the 2 in office when I picked up but they were awesome too! Of all the experiences with uhaul this location is definitely managed the best with customer service at the top!

None of our key cards worked to get into my storage units.. it took an hour and a half to get it going because the computers kept freezing.. then when we finally moved my stuff the gates wouldn’t open and we had to go to the front office 4 different times. They came with their golf cart twice but upon leaving it didn’t open again and we called the intercom and no one came to open it so three different t cars had to go into reverse and go in the way we came in. I set a passcode with the guy at the front desk and that said access denied. I will def be moving my furniture out.. please hire staff that knows what they’re doing.

Lexi was awesome! She was very kind, friendly and helpful. Very easy to work with and made picking up the rental easy. Dropping off was a different story. Pulled up to the drop off area and waited for someone to come out. No one came out. So I walked in to 4 employees standing there. One asked if he could help and I said sure I need to get this trailer off. He then came to help. As he was walking out one of the others said something under his breath. The guy helping me seemed like he really didn’t want to come help unload. Honestly probably not going to come to this location again. I will drive extra to avoid the laziness and dismissive behavior. Again, Lexi was amazing and I would recommend her to help anyone out.

My husband and I came to this location our first time renting. The employee shanon helped us as much as they could then they went to grab another employee by the name of Seneca (unsure how to spell her name) she has black hair with tons of tattoos. She wasn’t attentive, her communication skills were bad, she didn’t have a sense of urgency to help, and her attitude was unprofessional. I was confused about a few things so I went to ask her questions she answered them with lack of people skills. I approached her to ask for her name. Shanon showed me the badge but Seneca didn’t. I told her I was going to leave a review because that was poor customer service. Seneca and shanon both put the straps on the wheels but the strap had came off the wheel Senecas side. We then had to come back to the location the next day for the straps to be added back onto the car. Now we were 2 hours behind on schedule to move. I asked for the manager and he approached me with concerned and assured me that I was in good hands, the right way to help a customer. Seneca needs to work on her people skills because this job consists of communicating having a sense of urgency and actually doing the job correctly. Don’t have Seneca help you if you go to this location. She needs to do better or find a job that fits her work style because this ISNT a job for her. Situation was taken care of due to the manager helping. I recommend this location only because the manager helped tremendously.

Soild assistance on-site. Terrible app functions to check vehicle in. Went through entire vehicle photography upload twice to no avail. Absolute waste if my valuable time. We suffered through several communication and misinformation issues: -central number told us there was no elevator at facility -reservation Agent set up storage move in date that caused extra day of truck rental. We were not informed about this until dropping off our truck ($40 additional charge) -central number did not have any info about new facility which will be opening up in our area soon

From the rep helping to locate the size units we needed To the staff checking us in to Robinson reserving the 26 ft Truck to transport All our belongings To Prescott valley, az were wonderful . I've moved 39 times. Robinson Madera is the most professional Uhaul employee I have had the pleasure of doing business with. I utilized the Uhaul storage facility that he manages as well as ubox rentals and have been in the office several times to ask questions and take care of business. His team was helpful and and able to answer all of my questions. Robinson seemed to be everywhere at one time and made the place run like a well-oiled machine, especially under pressure. He even came out and offered us water on moving day, though I'm sure he was busy. Our ubox door was broken and he personally took care of it. He wants things done fast and right which I'm sure makes it hard to delegate, but it seems like he has a good team behind him. I highly recommend the uhaul storage he manages in queen creek.

The process was so easy & convenient! The only hiccup was we rented a truck 9-5 , brought items to be stored at your facility and thought we were finished with truck so we turned truck in. We then realized we forgot a storage area that also needed to be transferred to storage & had to start a whole new rental! Essentially, we paid to use the truck 2 times!

Storage facility is so convenient and that it is temperature controlled really helps on these summer days! The elevators, carts to help with the move, everything was well worth it for our move. There is also convenient parking area that is in the garage for you to pull in your vehicle and load without being in the blistering sun. We rented a U-Haul there as well and it just makes it so easy and stress free.

All was great until I closed out. With todays digital world, I was amazed that even though I’m a loyal Uhaul customer (trailers, truck rentals, storage) that when I moved out, there was not a refund for unused time. My bill was set up for auto pay, I planned to move out on 3/24/2023, my credit card was charged just a couple days prior. When I question it I was told I should have moved out earlier. There is no reason once the contract is terminated that a pro-rated refund would go back to the customer. That would be a good business practice that most reasonable companies would follow. After a great experience, it left a bad taste. It would make me rethink using Uhaul storage in the future.

The unit I rented was too small. I was given a month free but wasn’t able to apply that to a bigger unit. I barely moved in the small unit (less than 6 hours) I should’ve been able to still get a free month and not exempt just because I went to a bigger unit. This is a terrible experience. I’m looking to leave this facility soon

My experience with the Power Ranch facility was totally satisfactory. My only issue was with my initial reservation with the call centre prior to my visit which was not recognized once I attended the facility. However. the local manager gave me first months rent free to compensate for the more expensive site which was available upon my arrival, I don't understand the point of call centre reservation if they can't hold the space that I reserved.

Worked with 3 different employees during my move in to my storage unit. First employee i worked with was not knowledgeable on how how to set up a first time renter. I would ask questions and he would have to wait until a fellow coworker was available to ask them the question for me. It took me about 20 minutes to get set up since the program the company uses for ID check was not working on my phone (even employees tried and it wouldn't work) and employees ended up scanning the ID for me a different way. Should have just worked with the 2nd employee because they essentially set me up and 1st employee just had to hit print. Even that was too hard for him because he said printer was not working but it was just out of paper. 2nd employee was great and felt like the lead on shift (I wish I could remember their name becausethey were great. They had a double nose piercing.) First unit I was assigned had two water pipes going through it and was interfering with my cubic space so I had to go back downstairs to switch my unit. 3rd employee was great! He was called in from the truck return area to help condense the line and worked quickly and efficiently. I think his name was Brayden or Brendan. He helped transfer my unit and I was able to get back to moving my things.

Due to negligent maintenance rainwater entered my unit and damaged my property. I was told to make a claim against my insurance but I did not purchase insurance at time of rental and my claim was denied. Regardless of insurance or not I would expect that the facility would provide a reasonably maintained unit. Basically I see this as being provided a defective product/service with no warranty or compensation for loss.

Robert the GM and his staff where great I would recommend his facility to all of my celebrity colleagues they where great and didn’t even know they helped a celebrity out. So hats off to them for showing great hospitality and going above and beyond thank you!!!!!!!

I worked with "Yaya" and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. I was offered a free unit for one monthm She was so happy and positive. She was very knowledgeable and showed us the different sizes available. She even walked us to the unit we chose. She was very charming and charismatic. Uhaul should look into her development because she has a lot of potential.

I’ve used a lot of different storage unit facilities in my life but none like this one. It was the most amazing experience putting my stuff in my unit here. The staff were incredibly helpful, moving into the unit itself was a breeze, the equipment and carts worked perfectly (which is rare) and the manager Robinson went above and beyond. I never write reviews but this facility definitely deserves an amazing one. 10/10 on all aspects.

The biggest issue with my experience was trying to get a hold of anyone on the phone. Your automated system sucks and is not easy to navigate through and I never was able to reach anyone in order to handle what needed to be handled.

Haley went above & beyond to help me move in! She answered all of my questions-sometimes more than once, and even measured the elevator to confirm a large piece of furniture would not fit. She quickly helped me resolve the issue by moving my Reservation to a 1st floor unit. I am so appreciative of everything she did, and with a positive attitude along the way!

The lady who helped me at the counter was perfect. She was helpful, communicated instructions well, and was just a great person. The staff was very kind and friendly, which I greatly appreciated. The only critique that I can give is that my storage unit had some dead bugs. Aside from that, I’m still satisfied with the customer service.

All the staff here were extremely kind and helpful! We had just driven from Washington to Gilbert when we arrived to the location, and they made the process painless - relieving a ton of stress. Joshua assisted my boyfriend over the phone to find the right unit for us & quickly took care of us when we got to the facility. One of the gals (didn’t catch her name - so sorry!) gave us all water while we were unloading which was greatly appreciated. A few other staff members were joking around with my brother & it was a really comfortable experience. Small acts of kindness and compassion make the difference. Big thank you to the staff!!

I would have given this place a five star rating, but they false advertised the dimensions of the unit I was rented. This forced Me to rent a second unit to accommodate My property. As a retired professional Mover from the largest Moving company in the world, cubic square feet and inches make all the difference in the world. 10ft. X 10ft. X 10ft. Should be exactly that. Not 10ft wide X 9ft. Deep X 8.5ft. High

I had originally called the Uhaul owned facility in Gilbert , AZ , for storage of my utility trailer. Not having what i needed they asked me to hold. After fifteen seconds the gentleman let me know that if i wanted i would be notified when what i needed would be available , or another Uhaul location does have it available NOW. He told me location, phone number and approximately how many minutes away. I called the other location. The woman said that it just became available, and there was a waiting list but she would call back shortly. She called back in 11 minutes and said she called the other people on the list whom no longer needed storage. It was available now to me at 6:45 pm on a Friday night. I told her that i was on my way. I arrived and was on line behind 1 other customer. I was then met by a happy , bubbly CSR whom took care of my storage quickly , efficiently, and thoroughly offering all options and insurance of my rental. GREAT JOB in my opinion .
